Markallcurrentsettingsforthemobilitydevice(seat,armrests,backrestetc.),andtheassociatedcableconnecting
plugs,beforedismantling.Thismakesreassemblyeasier.Allplugsarettedwithmechanicallockswhichprevent
releaseoftheconnectingplugsduringoperation.Toreleasetheconnectingplugsthesafetylocksmustbepressed
in.Whenreassemblingensurethatthesesafetylocksarecorrectlyengaged.

Adjustingtheseatingpositioninordertoadaptthemobilitydeviceoptimallytotherequirementsoftheuser,we
recommendthatyouaskyourauthorisedInvacareprovidertoadjustseatdepthindividually.Adaptingtheseattothe
user'sseatingpositiondependsontheseatthathasbeentted,andshouldbecarriedoutinthefollowingsequence.

4.2.3AdjustingCentreofGravityofSeat
Thecentreofgravityofseat(CoG)canbeadjustedbymountingseatframefarthertowardsfrontortherearofseat.
CAUTION!
Theseatingsystemofthemobilitydeviceisdeliveredexworkswithastandardadjustmentofcentreof
gravity(CoG),whichmeets80%–90%ofuserrequirements.CoGcanbeadjustedindividually.However,any
changeinthisadjustmentsettingcannegativelyinuencethestabilityofthemobilitydevice.
–Youmustperformanindividualriskanalysiseverytimeyouchangethecentreofgravityoftheseating
position,inordertoensurethesafetyandstabilityofthemobilitydevice.
A:Seatdepth
B:centreofgravityoftheseat/seatposition
Theuserweightandseatdepthhavestronginuencesonthechoiceofthecentreofgravity(CoG).Iftheuseris
heavyandtheseatdepthisgreater,thefocusshouldbethefartherback.Forbestpossibledrivingcharacteristicsof
rear-wheeldrivemobilitydevices,theweightshouldbedistributed:30%–40%frontand60%-70%rear .For
centerwheeldrivestheweightshouldbedistributed25%front,50%centerand25%rear.
CAUTION!
Riskofdamageduetocollisionsofthelegrestswithotherpartsofthemobilitydevice
–Setthelegreststothesmallestanglebeforeadjustingtheseatcentreofgravity.

aretestedunderloadusingadigitalvoltmetertocheckbatterychargelevelatthechargerconnector.Thechargerconnector
islocatedontheremote.Whenvoltageattheoutputdrops1.0voltsunderload(2.0voltsforapair),replacethebatteries.
Readtheseinstructionscarefullyandthemanufacturer’sinstructionsonthedigitalvoltmeterbeforeproceeding.
