1. SAFETY & WARNING INSTRUCTIONS
lNo children under the age of 8 should be permitted to operate this electric device. Be
certain, that children, handicapped people, or people with the lack of knowledge and
experience, must be supervised, depending the situation, by persons responsible for
their well-being and do not undertake procedures such as the cleaning or the mainte-
nance of this device.
lIt is important that adequate supervision is provided and no minors are left unat-
tended with this device.
lThis dehumidier is for domestic and small oce use only. Do not use this device
for commercial, industrial or marine use, and in areas with wet surfaces such as re-
strooms or shower rooms.
lThis device should always be kept in an upright position to avoid any damage.
lAll house exits (windows doors etc) where the dehumidier is operating, should be shut.
lIf water leakage appears within the unit, turn the unit o and disconnect the pow-
er cord.
lBefore moving, unplug the device and manage to keep it in a vertical position in or-
der to safely be transferred from one area to another..
lBe sure to empty the water whenever the water tank is full or when the device will
not be used for a prolonged time.
lAlways empty the water tank before storing the unit.
lIf the unit is misplaced or tipped, unplug the power cord immediately. Make sure the
unit is completely dry before resuming operation..
lDisconnect the device, if abnormal sounds, odors or smoke occur.
lIf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons to avoid a hazard. Never attempt to dismantle, re-
pair or modify the device.
lDo not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify this appliance. Contact your author-
ized service technician for repair or maintenance of this device.
lDo not operate or stop the unit by switching the power supply on or o.
lDo not insert any objects in the unit's air inlet and exhaust as this may cause da mage
to the device.
lDo not place heavy objects on the power cord. Make sure that the cord is not com-
pressed.
lDo not place cord under any obstacles (carpets rugs or runners etc). Cord should be
arranged away from areas where accidental tripping may occur.
lDo not sit or climb on the device.
lDo not place the unit in direct sunlight or near other heating sources.
lDo not use the unit near heat sources, chemicals, radiators, ammable materials or
re.
lDo not remove the water tank while the device is in use.
lDo not use the device without the lter. Dirt and lint may clog the unit thus reducing
performance.
lDo not drink or use the collected water from of the unit for any purpose.
lDo not use the unit with wet hands.

2. ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
l The nameplate, with all the electrical and technical data of this appliance, is located
on the rear panel.
l The appliance should be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
l Be sure the device is grounded properly. Proper grounding is important as it mini-
mizes the chance of electric shock or re. The power cord is equipped with a ground-
ing plug for protection against electric shock hazards.
l The device must be used in a properly grounded wall socket. If the specic socket
you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or cir-
cuit breaker, have a qualied electrician install the proper receptacle.
l Ensure the wall socket is still accessible after the installation of the dehumidier.
l Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs with this device.
l To avoid personal injury, always disconnect the power supply of the device, before
maintenance.
l To connect or disconnect the power, grip the plug and pull it out from power so cket,
never pull or tug on the cord.




3. SOCIABLE REMARKS
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Disposal of equipment no longer used.
Please follow the instructions below, when using this dehumidier in European countries.
l This appliance requires special treatment for disposal. In the European Union, elec-
tronic equipment must not be treated as domestic waste, but must be disposed of pro-
fessionally in accordance with Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and
Council of 27th January 2003 concerning old electrical and electronic equipment. The
disposal of this unit should follow all legal requirements and should not be disposed
as unsorted municipal waste. The hazardous substances can leak into the ground wa-
ter supply thus entering the food chain, endangering your health and the environment.
l There are several alternative solutions for disposal:
A) Your local municipality has established free collection systems for elec-
tronic waste.
B) Your local retailer upon purchase of a new product.
C) The manufacturer may accept the old appliance for disposal.
D) Old appliances sometimes contain valuable resources for scrap metal
dealers.

4. STEPS BEFORE USE

1) Do not block or restrict

6. CONTROL PANEL • FUNCTIONS
POWER
Press “POWER” button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
• After turning the dehumidifier OFF, the fan continues to operate for a small
period of time approximately 10 minutes, so as to protect the inner components.
During this operation DO NOT unplug the device. Please wait for the fan to stop
operating.
• In the event of a power failure the unit has an Auto Restart function. Once the
power is restored after a power failure, the appliance will automatically restart to
operate at the selected settings prior to the power failure expect the timer and
child lock setting which will be both deactivated.
TIMER
• Once the desired hour(s) selected, wait for 3 seconds without pressing anything
and the indication of timer ** ** will appear on the digital display to confirm
that timer is activated.
• In case of a power failure the timer setting will be automatically deactivated.
CHILD LOCK
Press the “TIMER” button continuously for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock
function. The indicator ** ** will remain steadily on the display informing that child lock
is active.

• Under Child Lock: All control buttons are deactivated and the unit will make a
beeping sound each time a button is pressed.
• In case of a power failure the child lock setting will be automatically deactivated.
HUMIDITY CONTROL
Humidity Set Control Button.
The humidity level can be set within a range of 40% RH (Relative Humidity) to 80% RH
(Relative Humidity) and CO in 5% increments each time the relative button ** ** is
pressed. The desired level of humidity will appear on the led display.
• By selecting the continuous mode “CO” the dehumidifier will operate
continuously extracting humidity. During CO mode the dehumidifier will keep
operating until the water tank is full, disregarding the relative humidity of the
room.
HUMIDITY LIGHT INDICATOR
The humidity light indicator will be continuously on under normal mode to inform you
about the level of ambient humidity inside the room.
• Blue color for relative humidity under 55%
• Yellow color for relative humidity between 56% and 79%
• Red color for relative humidity over 80%
MODE
By pressing the ‘’MODE’’ button you can select between four different modes: Normal,
ECO, Turbo and Smart Dehumidification (SMD).
Under Normal mode the dehumidifier is operating in medium fan speed to
reach the set humidity level. The number (2) will appear on the led display to indicate your
mode choice. When the set humidity is reached, the Energy Savings function is automatically
activated. After the predetermined timeframe and if the humidity levels have increased, the
device will resume dehumidification. It is a mode suggested for daily operation.

Under ECO mode the dehumidifier is operating in low fan speed to reach the set
humidity level. In this mode the consumption is reduced to half. The number (1) will appear
on the led display to indicate your mode choice. When the set humidity is reached, the Energy
Savings function is automatically activated. After the predetermined timeframe and if the
humidity levels have increased, the device will resume dehumidification.
Under Turbo mode the dehumidifier is operating in high fan speed to reach
the set humidity level. The number (3) will appear on the led display to indicate your mode
choice. When the set humidity is reached, the Energy Savings function is automatically
activated. After the predetermined timeframe and if the humidity levels have increased, the
device will resume dehumidification.
Under SMD mode the dehumidifier is operating
according to the existing temperature and ambient humidity conditions inside the room.
The letter (A) will appear on the led display to indicate your mode choice. The ideal humidity
level will be automatically set between 45% and 55% depending on the room temperature.
The higher the room temperature, the lower will be the set humidity level in order to achieve
ideal leaving conditions. The fan speed will be also automatically adjusted in low, middle and
high speed, depending on difference between the ambient humidity and the set humidity.
The bigger the difference the higher will be the fan speed.
This mode is suggested for situations with severe humidity, where big amount
of water needs to be distracted such us ooded rooms, for rooms that have
not been used for and long time, but it can only be selected for clothes drying.
• Position the dehumidier in a small sized room along with your clothes
horse. Keep doors shut, and your clothes will dry up in no time!
• For optimal results manual wringing of the clothes is suggested.
• Allow a 30-50cm distance between the unit and the clothes.





SWING
Press the ‘’SWING LOUVER’’ button to activate/deactivate this feature. By pressing the
button once, the swing louver operates in such a manner allowing a multi-directional air
stream. By pressing the button a second time, the louver can be stopped at a desired
angle.

IONIZER
Press the ‘’IONIZER’’ button to switch on/off the ionizer. Ions will be released in the air
to purify it and remove unpleasant and unhealthy particles. The indicator ** ** will
appear on the led display.
ULTRAVIOLET TYPE C
Long press the ‘’IONIZER’’ button for 3 seconds to switch on/off the function of the
ultraviolet led type C (UVC). The UVC led will help eliminate microorganisms such as
germs, viruses, bacteria and fungi. The indicator ** ** will appear on the led display.
FAN ONLY
Long press the ‘’MODE’’ and ‘’IONIZER’’ buttons for 3 seconds to initiate the Fan only
function. Under Fan only you can select the fan speed between low, medium or high by
pressing the mode button ** **. Turn on the Ionizer and the UVC function to achieve
great air purification results inside the room.
• Under fan only function, no dehumidification is taking place and the humidity
cannot be adjusted by the relevant button on the control panel.

Long press the ‘’SWING LOUVER’’ button for 3 seconds to active the Wi-Fi pairing process.
The indicator ** ** will appear on the led display. You can operate the dehumidifier
remotely using the application Inventor Control.
MUTE MODE
Long press the ‘’ SWING LOUVER’’ and ‘’TIMER’’ buttons for 3 seconds to mute and unmute
the sound of the buttons of the control panel.
• While in mute mode the sound alarms will be still activated.

7. WATER TANK & DRAIN HOSE
There are two ways to remove collected water. Before proceeding, ensure that you
have switched off and unplugged the device.

When the water tank is full, the alarm will beep and the Water Full indicator will turn on.
• Slowly remove the bucket. Grip the handle with caution, and carefully pull outwards
so the water does not overow. Do not place the tank on the oor because the bottom
of the tank is uneven. Doing so the tank will fall and the water will be spilled on the
oor.
• Empty the water from the tank and place it again in to the device. The water tank,
must be securely and properly placed, for the dehumidier to operate.
• When the water tank is re-installed the unit will automatically restart.


When the water tank is full, removed or not placed correctly, the indication P2 will appear on
the digital display followed by a beeping sound. While the indicator P2 is on the dehumidifier
will be on stand-by until water tank is placed correctly or emptied.
P3 – FILTER CLEAN REMINDER
When the air filter requires maintenance, the indication P3 will appear on the digital display.
The reminder is set to appear after 360 working hours of the dehumidifier. Carefully remove
the filter, rinse it with water and let it dry completely before using it again. To reset the
reminder long press the ‘’HUMIDITY’’ button ** ** for 3 seconds.

During operation, malfunctions may occur if the air intake or exhaust are obstructed
or blocked by objects. This can cause high internal temperatures and the appliance will
automatically shut down. Unplug the device immediately and resume operation after 5
minutes.

In order to avoid overheating in the event of tipping, the device is equipped with a tipping
switch that automatically shuts down the device.

Water automatically can be emptied into a oor
drain by attaching the unit with a water hose.
• Remove the water tank and attach the
drain hose to a suitable drainage facility.
Make sure the hose is attached securely
to avoid any leaks and place it as deep as
possible to ensure the right drainage.
• The dehumidier should be placed on a at
surface in an upright position.
• Place the end of the hose into the drain and
make sure that the water flows naturally. For
correct drai nage, make sure the hose stays be-
low the level of the drain hose outlet.

8. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning of the dehumidier, make sure that
it is unplugged.
l 
Use water and mild detergent to clean the dehumidier.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents; use a brush or vacuum attachments
for cleaning
• Do not use a dishwasher to clean the lter.
• Do not apply any water directly on or into the device while cleaning, as it may cause
rust, insulation deterioration or electrical shock.
• Allow the lter to completely dry before re-installing.
l 
Partially ll the tank with clean water adding a minimal amount of mild detergent. Clean
thoroughly empty and rinse.
• Clean the tank every 2 weeks to prevent mold, mildew and bacteria growth.
• After cleaning, make sure the tank is placed back securely for the dehumidier to op-
erate.

WITHOUT THE AIR FILTER
9. STORAGE
When unit is inactive for an extended period of time please make sure you follow the
instructions below, for an appropriate storage of your appliance:
• Turn unit o allowing one day before storage.
• Remove the drain hose (if attached).
• Clean the removable parts of the device, water bucket and air lter.
• Cover the device.
• Store the dehumidier. in upright position, in a dry, well ventilated area and avoid
direct sunlight.



10. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & TROUBLE


No there is no need for replacement. The Zeolite is
regenerated within the dehumidier and this will last
for many years.


For the rst month upon its initial operation, the
dehumidier operates at its maximum in order to
calibrate in its working environment. As time passes,
this will gradually reduce, since the dehumidier will
be controlled via its humidistat. In regards to damp
houses, the use of a dehumidier may lower your
central billing costs signicantly.



During the rst days of usage and periodically
afterwards you might notice a smell coming from the
dehumidier. This is caused by the Zeolite desiccant
material and is not a sign that the dehumidier is not
working properly nor is it harmful to humans or pets.
The smell occurs because the Zeolite absorbs odors
from items like cigarettes, cosmetics, hair sprays,
building materials and new furniture, and as the
desiccant is heated the smell is discharged into the
room. You can clear it by running the dehumidier in
a separate space like a garage or - if it is dry – outside.



For optimal results, it is suggested to place the
dehumidier in a central area, like a hallway. Leave
the doors open and the moisture will migrate
naturally towards the device to be processed.




No, the lter can’t be replaced.



The suggested humidity range uctuates between
40% and 60%. This level of an average humidity
ensures the greatest comfort for you and your
family, preventing allergies or diseases, and keeps
your home healthy and well maintained, in terms of
plasterboards, dye exfoliation, wood furniture and
any other equipment or material that is susceptible to
the harmful consequences of extremely high humidity
conditions.

When the room reaches the preferred humidity
level, there is a possibility of humidity appearance
on windows. This happens due to the temperature
dierence of the room’s and external ambient
temperature. Keep running the dehumidier and
when the air temperature outside increases the
windows should clear of condensation.





The desiccant dehumidier Rise Pro, operates with
an electrical resistance that warms up the desiccant
material. As a result, the temperature of the outgoing
air has been increased to 10°C comparing to the
room’s temperature. This doesn’t denote in any case
that this device can be used as a heating appliance.


The dehumidier has a separate FAN ONLY function, during which no
dehumidication takes place. Please check if you have selected this mode and try
to adjust the humidity levels. If the relevant button beeps without any change, then
try to turn o the FAN ONLY function following the steps from this user's manual.

l Make sure the dehumidier’s plug is placed completely into the socket.
l Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box.
l Check whether the power cord is damaged.
l Check the water bucket, if it is full, empty it.
l Check if the dehumidier has reached its preset level.
l Make sure the water bucket is positioned properly.
l Room temperature is lower or higher than the advised operational range.
l Check whether the humidity level has been set in high levels

l Make sure that the dehumidier has been operating enough time to remove the
moisture.
l Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front or back of the
dehumidier.
l The humidity selector may not be set low enough.
l Make sure you have cleaned the filter as suggested. Clogged filter may result in
reduced performance.

l All house exits (windows doors etc) where the dehumidier is operating, should be
shut.
l Room temperature is below the advised operational range.
l There is a kerosene heater or something giving o water vapor in the room.
l The room that the device is placed is bigger than suggested.
l The humidity level is too high.

l The air lter is clogged.
l The device is titled instead of being in an upright position.
l The oor surface is not at.


l Check that the drain hose has been correctly placed.
l The drain hose has been blocked or damaged.

