Getting Started
1For new installs, we recommend installing the E-kit at a height of 112 cms
from the floor to the bottom of the enhancement kit mount.
2For existing installations first power off the device, disconnect the wiring
connections, remove the device and the mounting plate from the wall.
3Mark the mounting holes using the TITAN mounting plate. Drill the holes
and install the dry wall anchors.
4 The holes provided on the enhancement kit align with the TITAN mounting
plate holes. The same holes maybe used to mount the E-kit for existing
TITAN installs.
5 Mount the enhancement kit and the mounting plate using the wall mounting
screws.
6Install the mounting plate on the enhancement kit using the pan head
machine screws for the 3 inner holes.

Getting Started
7Connect the USB wires on the TITAN back cover to the
4 PIN Female Terminal Plug provided with the E-kit.
(Refer Get Wired Pages).
8Reconnect all wiring connections that were removed in
step 1 and connect the female terminal plug to the male
terminal of the E-kit.
9 The TITAN Enhancement Kit is powered directly by the
TITAN and requires no separate power supply.
10 Power up the device using PoE+ or DC power. Refer
the TITAN INGUIDE for details about TITAN wiring.
11 Hang the TITAN on the Mounting Plate and secure it
on the bottom with the bottom mounting screw.

Get Wired
1The Enhancement Kit works in conjunction with the TITAN and
thus needs to be connected to a TITAN device for power and
processing.
2A 4 PIN female terminal plug is provided with every
enhancement kit that needs to be connected to the USB wires
on the TITAN back cover.
3 The wiring connections are shown on the next page. Please
ensure that correct wires are used before connecting the
terminals. Incorrect wiring can damage the thermal camera.
4 Use wires from the same USB connection when connecting with
the terminal plug (i.e. all 4 wires should be from USB0 or USB1).
5After connecting the crimped wires to the terminal (Refer Wiring
Connections Page), connect the TITAN back cover to the
thermal kit.
6You should be able to hear a click sound when the connection
between the 2 terminals is secure.

1 The USB Wires are located on the Bottom Connector of the TITAN
Wired Back Cover.
2 Use either Wires from PIN 23, 25, 27 and 29 (USB0 wires) or from
PIN 24, 26, 28 and 30 (USB 1 wires) to connect to the 4 PIN female
terminal plug.
3 Strip the USB wires up to 10 mm and crimp them individually to the
AWG 24 crimps provided with the Enhancement Kit.
4 Cut any extra length of exposed copper wire coming out of the crimp.
5 Insert the crimped wires into the respective slots on the female
terminal plug as shown in the image.
6 Tighten the screws on the terminal plug, pull the wires once and
check for loose connection.
7 Connect the female terminal plug to the male terminal plug on the
Enhancement Kit.

Software Installation
1 Go to www.invixium.com >> IXM WEB >> Get IXM WEB.
2 Follow the instructions on the screen. Enter your details and click submit. You
will then be sent an email with the latest IXM WEB package.
3 Extract the compressed file and run IXM WEB.exe. Invixium recommends
selecting Install for easier installation.
4 When installation is complete, click Exit. The IXM WEB icon will now be
on your desktop.
5 Use the IXM WEB icon to run IXM WEB in your default web browser.
6 Contact [email protected] in case of any issues.

Best Practices
1For best performance, the TITAN and enhancement kit need to be installed at the
recommended height and location.
2The ideal location when using the E-kit with the TITAN is where the ambient
temperature is between 20 and 27 degrees Celsius
(68 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit).
3For the most accurate thermal performance, users coming from the outdoors should
let their body temperature stabilize for 5 minutes before approaching the TITAN.
4 Users should stand at a distance of 45 to 90 cms from the device for best
temperature detection.
5All TITANs and enhancement kits are calibrated at Invixium’s manufacturing
facility before shipping. However, we recommend calibrating the solution once
before use. Refer the calibration FDD on the Invixium customer portal for details.
