The nuts are correctly tightened
when the bowl slides in and out
with light resistance without allow-
ing the bowl to be lifted up. Test
this when the machine is rotated
back to normal operating position in
the next step. Check tightness care-
fully before further assembly.
The bowl should slide up and down
smoothly before returning the machine
to normal operating position.
If the bowls rotate normally during power on then power o the machine and disconnect the
power cable to install the bottom cover by reversing steps 1-3 in the earlier section Preparing to
Disassemble. Consult the Bowl Alignment Procedure to align the bowls with the C-stick and com-
plete the installation.

10 Flip the machine back to its normal
operating position and reconnect
the power cable.
Install wheels in the new bowl and
power on the CrystalPress to make
sure the new bowl rotates as it
should. If it doesn’t rotate after
power on there is a problem with
the connection to the logic board.
Check connections and test again.
