beforeplacingthealmeterinyourhelmet.

maximumaccuracy.



3. Charging

3.1. HowtoCharge

Tocharge,insertthemicroUSBcableintothemicroUSBportonthesideoftheunit(SeeFig.3a).Makesurethe

chargingicon( )isdisplayed.Leavecablepluggedinunlthechargingicondisappearsindicangchargingiscomplete.



Note:Acompletechargecyclewilltake1.5hours.Rechargingaeratypicaldayofjumpingshouldtake15‐30minutes.



4.1. Alongtheboomofthealtudescreenisaninfobarcontainingthefollowinginformaon:

CurrentTime:currentmein24hourformat.Tosettheme,gotothesengsmenuandselectSetDate/Time



BacklightIndicator:Onlydisplayswhenbacklightison.Toturnthebacklighton/oﬀortochangebrightnesslevel,

gototheBacklightmenu.Note:Aerasystemreset,backlightdefaultstoOﬀ.



Units:ofdatadisplayed‐Tochangetheunits,gotothesengsmenuandselectUnits.



UnitsMultiplier:Showswhattomulplytheshorteneddisplayeddatabytogettheactualdatanumber.



ButtonLock:Ifthepadlockicon( )iconispresent,buonlockisenabled.Toenablethisfeaturepressandhold

theUpbuon.TodisablethisfeaturepressandholdtheDownbuon.



ChargingIndicator:Thechargingicon( )indicatestheunitiscurrentlycharging.Whenthelighteningbolt

symbolisnotpresent,theunitiseitherﬁnishedchargingorthecablehasbeenremoved.



BatteryLevelIndicator:Displayscurrentbaerypowerlevel.Refertothechartinsecon3.2formore

informaon.



CurrentAltitude:Thecurrentaltudeisdisplayedas3digits.Refertotheunitmulpliertodeterminethe

altudeabovethezerooﬀset.



5. Menu

Themainmenuconsistofthefollowingitemsarrangedinarotanglist:ExitMenu,Zero,Backlight,PowerOﬀ,

Alarms,Logging,Sengs,andUSBUpdate.Pleaserefertothecorrespondingseconsbelowfordetailsoneach

item.Toexitthemenuandreturntothealtudedisplay,selectthe“ExitMenu”opon.



5.1. Zero



Thezeroscreenallowsyoutosetthegroundlevelaltudeoﬀsettothecurrentaltude.Touse,selectthe

“Zero”oponfromthemainmenu.AerenteringtheZeroscreen,select“Zero”toconﬁrmandpressSelect.

Thealmeterwillreturntothealtudescreen.

Note:

❏ThisfunconisavailableregardlessoftheAutoZeroseng.

❏IfLandingatadiﬀerentelevaonfromwhereyoutookoﬀ,itmaybenecessarytoperformazeroaer

landing.

❏Whenpoweringonthealmeteratthebeginningofthedayitmaybenecessarytoperformazeroeven

ifAutoZeroisset.



5.2. Backlight

Illuminatesthescreenforlowlightcondion.Thebrightnessofthebacklightisadjustablefrom1(lowest)to5

(highest).Select“Backlight”totogglethebacklightonandoﬀ.PressingtheSelectbuonwhile“Brightness”is

selectedwillcyclethroughtheavailablebrightnesslevels.Thebacklighticon( )willbedisplayedonthe

altudescreenwhenthebacklightisenabled.

Note:

❏Enablingthebacklightforextendedperiodsofmewillreducethebaerylife.Ensureyouhavefully

chargedbaerybeforeusingthebacklight.



5.3. PowerOff

Thealmeterwillturnoﬀautomacally4hoursaerthelastjump.Poweringoﬀthedevicemanuallyaerthe

lastjumpofthedaywillmaximizebaerylifeandpreventpossibledamagetotheinternalbaery

Topoweroﬀscrolldownto“PowerOﬀ”thenpressandreleasetheselectbuon.

❏Toturnthealmeterbackon,pressandreleasetheseleconbuon.



5.4. Alarms

Upto99audiblealarmsmaybeset.Eachalarmconsistofanaltudewindowandalarmtype.Duringfreefallor

undercanopythealarmwillbeacvewhilewithinthealtudewindow.UsetheUpandDownbuonstoscroll

throughthealarms.Scrollingpastthelastitemwillshowthenextpageofalarms.Toreturntothemainmenu,

scrollupunlthe“MainMenu”oponappears.Setoreditanalarmbyscrollingtothealarminthealarmlist

andpressingSelect.



5.4.1. SetAlarm

ChangingAltitude:UsetheUpandDownbuonstochangetheselectedaltude.PresstheSelect

buontoadvancetothenextvalue.



ChangingSound:UsetheUpandDownbuonstochangethealarmsound.Whenchangingsounds,a

previewofthesoundwillplay.PresstheSelectbuontosavethealarmandreturntothealarmlist

screen.Ifthealarmsoundissetto“DELETE”,pressingtheSelectbuonwillclearthealarmandreturn

tothealarmlistscreen.



5.5. Logging

Thetotalnumberofjumpsappearsattheboomofthescreen.Toviewindividualjumpsummaries,scrollto

“ViewSavedLogs”andpressSelect.



5.5.1. SavedLogsList

UsingtheUpandDownbuons,scrollthroughthelistofloggedjumps.Jumpsarelistedbytheorderinwhich

theywerelogged.TheJumpnumber,Date,andTimeofjumparedisplayed.Toreturntothepreviousscreen,

scrollupunl“LoggingMenu”oponappearsandpressSelect.



5.5.2. ViewIndividualJumps

SelecngaLogentryfromtheloglistwilldisplaythejumpsummaryforthatjump.Exitaltude,Deployment

altude,Maximumspeed,Maximumacceleraon(Gforce)asreportedbytheinternalaccelerometer,andFree

Fallmearedisplayed.

Note:

❏Highperformancecanopypilotsmayseealowerthanactualdeploymentaltude.

❏Wingsuitpilotsmayseehigherthanactualdeploymentaltude.

❏MaxAcceleraonworksbestwhenthealmeterismountedinsidethehelmet.

❏Loggingisanexperimentalfeatureandwillbeexpandedinfuturesowareupdates.



UsetheUpandDownbuonstoscrollthroughtheavailableopons.PressSelecttochangetheselectedopon.



Units:ThedeviceisabletomeasurealtudeinFeetorMeters.Note:Changingthissengwillchangetheunitsforthe

enresystem(alarms,logging,Altudescreen,etc).



AutoZero:Controlsifthealmeterwillautomacallytrackgradualchangestotheambientairpressureandadjustthe

groundoﬀsetaltude. 

OFF:Thealmeterwillnottrackpressurechangesautomacally

ON:Thealmeterwilltrackpressurechangesautomacally



Note: 

❏WithAutoZerodisabled,theuserisresponsibleforzeroingthealmetertoaccountforambientpressure

changes.

❏HighperformancecanopypilotsshouldsetAutoZerotoOFFformaximumaccuracy.

❏ThegroundoﬀsetaccuracyisreducedwithAutoZeroenabled.





SetDate/Time:Displaysasubmenutosetthemeanddateforthedevice.Intheeventofacompletelydrainedbaery

themeanddatemayneedtobeset.



AdvancedSettings:Displaysasubmenuwiththefollowingopons.



CurrentJump#:Settheuser'scurrentnumberofjumps.



DeleteAllLogs:Clearalllogsfromtheinternalmemory



7.1. HardResetProcedure

Performahardresetbyusingathin,non‐metallictooltopresstheresetbuononthebackofthealmeter,seeﬁg.7a.

Pressandholdtheresetbuonforatleastonesecond.Ensurethebuonsonthefrontofthealmeterarenot
