Unplug the appliance from AC mains after using and
during cleaning.
Read the instructions carefully before using this appliance.
Check if the if your local voltage is 220-240V~.
The blades are very sharp. Do not touch the blades, especially when the appliance is plugged in. Handle
carefully when removing, inserting or cleaning. Exercise care when removing or inserting the blades.
Avoid contact with moving parts. Ensure that the motor has completely stopped before removing the
chopper lid.
Always fit the bowl and blade assembly onto the food chopper before adding any ingredients.
Always remove the knife blade before pouring contents from the bowl after processing.
If the blades are stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
Take caution as blades are sharp.
Do not exceed the suggested quantities and running times specified in the user manual or run the motor
continuously. (Do not run for more than 30 seconds, leave unit to cool for 2 minutes in between each 30
second operation)
Ensure bowl and cover is securely locked in place before operation. Do not attempt to force close the
locking mechanism. The appliance will be damaged.
Vibration may occur while operating the appliance. This is normal. Ensure appliance is operated on a
stable flat surface.
If a significant amount of juice or fluids spills onto, around or under the appliance while operating, turn
the appliance off, and unplug from outlet. Clean and dry the appliance before continuing.
Do not allow power cable to hang down within reach of children or come in contact with hot surfaces.
Unplug the appliance when moving from one location to another.
The use of attachments is not recommended.
Keep hands and utensils out of the container while mixing to prevent the possibility of severe personal
injury or damage to appliance. Use a scraper only when the chopper is powered off.
To avoid injury, never place the cutting blade assembly on base without the container.
Always ensure chopper is properly fitted with cover in place before use.
Blending pigmented food such as chilli paste or spices may cause permanent discoloration on plastic
components.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only.

Fit the bowl onto the power unit and turn clockwise to lock into position.
Insert the basket into the bowl and fit the triple blade assembly into the bowl. (Always fit the bowl
and blade assembly onto the food chopper before adding ingredients)
Cut the ingredients into 2 x 2 x 2 cm pieces, then place them into the basket.
Fit the lid and turn clockwise to lock into place.
Connect to the power supply and press down on the speed selector to select the desired speed.
Allow the appliance to operate until all ingredients are cut.
After you have finished chopping, release the speed selector to turn the appliance off and unplug
the appliance.
Turn the lid anticlockwise and remove it from the bowl, then remove the triple blade assembly and
basket carefully from the bowl.
Turn the bowl anticlockwise to disassemble the bowl from the power unit. Pour the cut ingredients
out.
Smart chopping is designed to chop onions, garlic, cheese, raw and cooked vegetables, cooked eggs
ad fruits etc. into small and even sized pieces. (Prevents food from being over proessed.)

Fit the bowl onto the power unit and turn clockwise to lock into position.
Insert the double blade assembly into the bowl. (Always fit the bowl and blade assembly onto the
food chopper before adding ingredients)
The double blade comes in 2 parts, a lower and an upper blade. For coarser chopping, use th
lower blade on its own. For finer chopping or puree, use both blades together. This will also give a
faster result.
To use both blades, fit the upper blade onto the lower blade and turn anticlockwise to secure in
place.
Cut the ingredients into 2 x 2 x 2cm pieces and place them into the bowl.
Fit the lid and turn clockwise to lock into place.
Connect to the power supply and press down on the speed selector to select the desired speed.
Allow the appliance to operate until all ingredients are cut.
After you have finished chopping, release the speed selector to turn the appliance off and unplug
the appliance.
Turn the lid anticlockwise and remove it from the bowl, then remove the double blade assembly
carefully from the bowl.
Turn the bowl anticlockwise to disassemble the bowl from the power unit. Pour the cut ingredients
out.
For chopping of ingredients such as nuts, raw meat, onions, hard cheese, boiled eggs, garlic, herbs,
dry bread, etc.

Preparation
Remove bones, fat and gristle. Cut into 2cm cubes.
Remove stalks. Herbs are best chopped clean and dry.
Remove shell. ( Note the consistency of powder
ground almonds is not achievable.)
Cut into 1-2cm cubes
Remove crusts and cut into 1-2cm cubes.
Break into pieces.
Halve or quarter depending on size.
Halve small onions or cut into 2cm pieces.
Break into cloves and remove skin.
You will be able to chop almost anything.
Removes stalks.
Peel and cut into 1-2cm cubes.
Never blend more than 0.4L soup. For best result
drain the ingredients and place the solids into th
ebowl with a small quantity of liquid from the
recipe. Process until the desired consistency and
add back to the remainder of the liquid.

Use only single lower
blade
Always unplug your chopper from the electrical outlet before cleaning. Before first use and after
every use, clean each part thoroughly.
Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Never touch the blade itself with bare hands.
Some food may disclor the plastic. This is perfectly normal and won’t harm the plastic or affect the
flavour of your food. Rubbing with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil may help remove the discoloration.

Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry. Do not immerse the power unit in water.

Always separate the upper knife from the lower knife blade before cleaning. Take care as the blades
are very sharp. Wash these parts with soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
These parts are unsuitable for use in a steam steriliser. Instead use a sterilising solution in
accordance with the sterilising solutions manufacturer instructions.
