Symbol Explanation
Reference : If the heat detection sensor is exposed to the direct ray of sun light for a long time, it
will trigger the heat alarm. The heat alarm can be turned off only by take out one of the batteries.

Make sure the door is securely locked whenever you leave your house, especially in the
“Manual” mode.
Be careful not to have unauthorized user know of your PIN. Change your PIN periodically.
Do not have your card key lost or stolen : Immediately re-registration of all remaining card
keys is required to invalidate the lost key.
Clean only with dry cloth. Do not use water and any type of solvent such as gasoline or
benzenes as they can cause damage to electronic circuit, deterioration and/or paint peel-off.
Handle the product with special care. Excessive force, careless using may cause product damage.
Keep card key reader part clean and dry. Dust off dirt smoothly with a soft cloth.
Watch out your finger not to be hurt when lifting up and down the keypad cover.
Educate your children the proper use of the product.

2-1 Caution for installation
Handle with care : Icops digital door lock is a precision electronic device.
Do not attempt to disassemble the unit by yourself that can cause an electronic shock and
product damage.
Do not use an inappropriate tool that can cause damage or malfunction of the product.
When you move contact your local service personnel for re-installation.
Check the service charge with your service provider.
Make sure the distance between the door and door frame is not widened more than 5mm
after installation.

Always check the electrode directions when inserting batteries.
Use 1.5V alkaline AA batteries. It is a user's responsibility for damage cause by using other
kind of batteries.
Do not mix new and used batteries when you replace batteries.
Do not use rechargeable batteries and manganese batteries.
Replace all batteries when the low battery warning sound rings.

It displays operation conditions such as opening/closing, changing PIN, registration key card.
This feature is very useful for a hearing-impaired person, children, and senior.

You can record your own voice to make friendly greetings to visitors and leave a warm message
to your family.

You can unlock the door using your card key or personal identification number at your convenience.
You do not need to worry about accidental lockouts by losing or forgetting keys.
󳫐 Easy re-registration of keys
If you lost a card key, you can invalidate the lost card key by re-registering all other card keys.
You can register up to 12 cards keys to add users.
󳫐 Anti-collision
Contacting multiple cards does not cause error to the lock. The card key reader will recognize the
card key among a pack of cards.

One-touch operation allows every user including children and senior the simplest use.
󳫐 Automatic locking
Just closing door will automatically lock the door. Manual operation is also available when there is
family gathering or party with many people in & out.

There will be a strong warning sound if someone an attempt to open door with a force.
󳫐 Self-checking
In case of malfunction or low batter power it checks the system status by itself and alerts the user
with a warning sound.

This product is designed to use power from outer source when the door lock is not functioning due

7-1 How to select mortise direction : Selection of left hand or right hand
①Close key cover.
②Open battery cover and press both
Card and P/W button simultaneously
for two seconds.
③The direction of locking device will be
set in the opposite direction with a
beep sound.
④Manual open/close lever must also be
adjusted accordingly.

* It is matter that you must note on installation.
* The lock is produced to be installed on the left-side. In case the door is
placed for the right-side installation of the door, be sure to change the
mortise direction to the right before programming other functions.
If you do setting work, please do it in a Manual mode

①Open key & battery cover, press P/W
button.
②LED displays "PS 0" with a beep sound.
③Enter desired password, it can be set with
any numbers from four to twelve digits.
The last number entered will only be
displayed on LED.
④Press P/W once again, then the change or
enrollment of password is complete with a
beep sound.

①Close key cover and open battery
cover then, press Card button.
②LED displays "RPRG"
③Press Registry button or Open button
(use a thin stick and press it firm within
five seconds)
④Registry completes with a beep sound.
󳥎Two Indoor Remote Controls can be registered per one set
󳥎Delete the Indoor Remote Control Function
Without performing ③above, the registry will automatically be deleted.
(When you lost remote controller, proceed ①to ②and after five minutes, the registry will be
deleted.)

①Open both key & battery cover and press
CARD & P/W simultaneously for three
seconds.
②Contact the card to be deleted
③Deletion of ID card is complete with a
beep sound. (a programming must be
performed within 8 seconds of time
otherwise, it is canceled.)
④If you want to delete more than one card,
perform ①then, press both * & # button
simultaneously for three seconds.
Deletion for all cards registered is
complete with a beep sound ( be extra
cautions as it is to clean up for all
registered ID cards)

Caution - it is safer to delete all ID cards registered in case your card is lost.
Caution - When changing the password, make sure someone stays inside the
house or keep your registered ID card with you to have the door
open in case the wrong numbers are registered by error.

󳥎 How to record your voice message
- You can record your voice for twenty
seconds at longest.
①Open key cover and press record
button and closely contact to the
MIC shown as picture below then,
record your message or greetings.
(keep pressing the record button
until the completion of the message
or greetings.)
②Release the record button free (with
a beep sound)
③After completion of the function, close
the key cover
󳥎 How to delete the voice message
①Open key cover and press record
button slightly then, after beep
sound, recorded messages will all
be deleted.

* You can record your own voice to make friendly greetings to visitors and
leave a warm message to your family members.
Please delete unnecessary voice messages to extend the battery life.
- Recorded voice messages will be played when the "OPEN" sign is displayed by
card or PIN.
- If there is no voice message recorded, there will be no sound
- If door is closed completely, there will be no sound of voice message
- When using Indoor Remote Control, there will be no voice messages played
※Existing digital door lock products from other companies with voice message function
can only play a pre-set voice, however this model can record your own voice.
󳥎Using a card :when canceling it from outside, contact with a pre-recorded
cards will do.
󳥎Using password :
- Orders must be given within five seconds upon opening of key cover.
- Open key cover and press Password & # or Password & close key cover.
- LED displays "OPEN" and in case of a pre-recorded voice, verbal sound is heard.
- The door is automatically locked 3 seconds after closing.
- It is also automatically locked 3 seconds after using manual open/close device
indoors.

󳥎Auto Mode
Basic mode of all the functions. Other functions remain intact. The door is automatically
Locked a certain time after closing. Always keep the lock in auto mode except for special
occasions.
①Keep manual mode when performing any register or delete functions.
②Yon can open or close door with Open / Close button as indicated below.
③You can use either an ID card or password for opening the door.
④Door will automatically be locked within three minutes after it is closed.
󳥎Manual Mode
This mode partially suspends some functions of the door lock.
The following are the major functions :
①Automatic door locking program will no longer be functional in this mode.
You can use this mode when there is a family gathering or party with many people in & out.
Even if the door is locked in manual mode, you can still use your ID card and P/W to open.
②You can open/close door by using a manual lever or Open/Close button.
The door is locked automatically when you open and close the Key cover.

Auto/Manual Mode
This mode must be set from inside of the house.
󳥎How to set up
Close door and press open/close button for five seconds, and then dual locking
mode will operate with a beep sound. You can only open door by using both ID
card and P/W from outside of the house. Indoor Remote Control and Open/Close
button can be functioned.
󳥎How to cancel

Open key cover and input P/W, then close it, and then contact the ID card.
If you contact the ID card first, and input P/W the door will not open though
there is a normal function of beep sound.

Simply use Open/Close button or take out one of the batteries to delete Dual
Locking Mode.
With Dual Locking Mode, you always need both P/W and ID card to
open door. With the P/W alone, the door will not open.

This mode must be set from outside of the house.
Indoor Remote Control and Open/Close button can not be functioned.
1) Open key cover and press “ #- P/W - 󳢭” and then contact ID Card and close it.
Long term absence function is in activation.
2) You can cancel this function by inputting P/W and contacting ID Card.
Do not contact the card first for it is not going to function properly.
Caution : you always need both P/W and ID card to open the door.
1) When the wrong P/W is inputted 3 times in a row, a warning sound is given and its function
is suspended for one minute.
2) In case of a forcible attempt to open the door from outside and the sensor is affected for a
second, a strong warning sound is given. (the warning sound continues)
3) In case the connector wire between the Main and Front is disconnected and the warning
PCB pattern is broken, there is a warning sound.
4) “Beep, beep” sound is made when the door is opened or closed, indicating need for battery
change.
5) When the door is not properly locked and the lock-up attempts are made for 3 times, there
is a warning sound and the Dead Bolt remains in its original position.
6) In case of fire heat detection sensor is in action and the door is automatically open with the
alarm sound,(Heat detection temperature 60℃±10℃.)

Tips for solutions to most of the problems arising while in use.
Many problems could easily be solved when carefully read and followed.
󳥎Use of power from outer source
1) This product is designed to use power from
outer source when the door lock is not fun
ctioning due to dead batteries in the lock.
2) When the button number LED is not turned
on after opening the front cover or pressing
the # button, use 9V battery.
3) 9V battery is 6F22(FC-1), available on the
market.
4) When using 9V battery, accurately put the
battery to the outside power source terminal
and use the P/W or Card.
