Operation
Press power button once (may need to hold it
down a few seconds) to check status and/or to
start charging. 4 led’s indicate how much power
is left, but it is only approximate. Device will
automatically turn off after a few seconds if
nothing is plugged in. Press the button twice to
turn on/off the flashlight.
Parts Identification

How to Charge Your Mini Power Bank
Plug the USB cable into the small input port and
plug the large end of the cable into an AC
adapter (not included). You can also use a USB
port on your computer, but it may take longer.
The AC adapter that came with your phone is
ideal if the output is 5V/1A. Device is fully
charged when all 4 led’s are lit and not blinking.
How to Charge Your Phone
Connect the large end of the USB cable into the
output port of the Power Bank. Plug the small
end into your phone, just as you would if you
were using your AC adapter to charge your
phone. Press the power button and the led’s will
light up according to how much power is left. It
is best to recharge the Power Bank first if only 1
led is lit, and you should definitely charge the
Power Bank first if there is only 1 blinking led.
When your phone is done charging, the Power
Bank should automatically turn off. However,
some phones may continue to drain the Power
Bank, even after the phone is fully charged. You

can tell if this happens if your phone indicates
“fully charged” yet the Power Bank remains on.
In this case, unplug the phone so the Power
Bank won’t continue discharging.
How to Charge Other Devices
The iPowerAid Mini Power Bank can also charge
most electronic devices that use the same micro
USB plug as your phone, including tablets,
camera’s, mp3 players, etc, as long as they
require 5V and less than 2.1A.
Although the Power Bank can be used to charge
most tablets, it is not ideal due to the size of
tablet batteries. For example, on an iPad Mini or
Nexus 7, you may only get a charge of 40%.
Tips & Warnings
It may take a few charge/discharge cycles for the
Power Bank to achieve maximum capacity.
Charge the Power Bank at least once every 3
months for proper battery maintenance.

The Power Bank has built in protection circuitry
against overcharging, over discharging, etc.
Under certain circumstances, the device may go
into protection mode. Depending on the cause,
you may need to charge it or use it to charge
your phone in order to return it to normal mode.
It is best not to leave the Power Bank plugged
into your AC charger for the long term.
Do not store in extreme temperatures, such as in
your car during summer or winter, as it may
damage the device.
Exposure to liquids or dropping the device can
cause damage and will void the warranty.
Do not charge the device at the same time as
using it to charge your phone.
Device may get slightly warm during use, which
is normal, but if it ever gets too hot to touch,
stop using immediately and contact us.

FAQ
How long does it take to charge?
It takes about 4 hours to fully charge using a
5V/1A charger. However, many aftermarket
chargers do not provide a full 5V/1A and may
take longer to charger your device. Also, if you
use the USB port on your computer, it will take
longer to charge.
Why doesn’t it charge my device?
Make sure there is a good connection and that
the Power Bank has power. Test the cable to
make sure it works with other devices. Check to
make sure your device is compatible with the
voltage and current of the Power Bank.
Not every device that uses the same plug is
compatible. For example, some Bluetooth
devices may not draw enough current to keep
the Power Bank on. Some NOOKs may require a
special cable to charge at full speed. Also, if
your phone uses USB 3.0, using the cable that
came with your phone may give a faster charge.
