WARNINGS:
•If you have a pacemaker do NOT wear the headset on a lanyard.
•Using the headset can result in short term side effects. These can include:
nausea, motion sickness, disorientation, headaches, eye strains, blurred vision.
We have seen these typically subside after initial adjustment period.
•If you experience any side effects, discontinue use and stay seated until
symptoms stop. If symptoms persist, contact your doctor.

Using IrisVision: Step 1 - Powering Up
Power up the Display Unit by pressing down the white tab for
5 seconds. A vibration will indicate the headset is powering
on.

Using IrisVision: Step 2 - Wearing the
Headset
The headset’s buttons and touchpad will not work when
the headset is not worn on your head. We recommendthat
you wear your prescription distance glasses while using the
headset.
1. Place the headset over your eyes and pull the straps
back over your head.
2. Adjust the velcro straps to achieve the best fit.
Do not walk around while wearing the IrisVision headset.

Using IrisVision: Step 3 - Set Up Focus
Slowly spin the focus wheel on the top center of your
headset to adjust the focus, similar to adjusting
binoculars.
1. After powering on your headset, it should
automatically show Focus mode. It contains an image
with beach chairs and umbrellas. If you are not in
Focus mode, press the mode button until you hear
“Focus” and see the large bold letters.
2. Reset the focus by rotating the wheel as far left as
possible.
3. Slowly begin adjusting it by rotating the wheel
towards the right until the object is in focus. Youcan
rotate the wheel in either direction as needed.
4. Pick an object at least 4 feet away to look at through
your screen. Try looking at a picture on the wall or a
family member’s face.
