Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 sends high-fidelity stereo signals from any personal
audio device to the car FM radio or stereo within 15 feet.
Simple and convenient, the Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 transmits all FM
frequencies and provides Instant-On and Auto-Off capabilities. And it works with all
portable audio devices.

1. Limited Warranty Conditions
This iriver America accessory comes with a 90-day limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of
purchase from an authorized agent. The limited warranty is provided to the original owner only and is not transferable to any third party. Proof
of purchase will be required for any limited warranty on iriver America accessories. iriver America's warranty covers only those defects which
arise as a result of normal use of the accessory, and do not apply to any accessory: (i) which has been repaired or altered unless done or
approved by iriver America, (ii) which has not been maintained in accordance with any operating or handling instructions provided by iriver
America, (iii) which has been altered or damaged by accident; (iv) which has been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress, misuse,
abuse, power shortage, or negligence or (v) which has been used other than in accordance with the accessory operating and handling
instructions.
2. Limited Warranty Coverage
Subject to the above conditions, only from the original date of purchase, for exchange of any defective iriver America accessory which is
covered by iriver America's warranty. Within this duration, if iriver America receives notice of defect in any iriver America accessory which is
covered by iriver America's warranty, iriver America shall either repair or replace the defective accessory at iriver America's option. iriver
America shall have no obligation to repair or replace until the customer returns the defective accessory to iriver America according to the
Warranty Procedure described at the iriver America web site: http://www.iriveramerica.com
3. Limitation of Warranty
Neither iriver America nor its third party suppliers make any other warranty or condition of any kind whether expressed or implied, with respect
to the iriver America products, and specifically disclaim the implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness
for a particular purpose.
4. Limitation of Liability
Except for the limited obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall iriver America or its third party suppliers
be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory and
whether advised of the possibilities of such damages.

SETUP PROCEDURE
Setting up your Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 is an easy procedure. Simply:
1. Insert the FM Transmitter AFT-100 into the automobile cigarette lighter or power socket. Firmly
push the unit securely into the socket.
2. Tune your car’s FM stereo to an unused FM frequency.
3. Plug the 3.5mm stereo cable into the Audio-Out connector or the headphone jack of the audio source
you wish to use.
4. Start your personal audio device. Your Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 will turn on instantly
when audio is detected. When there is no audio input for 30 seconds, the Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-
100 will turn off automatically.
5. Select the frequency from Step 2 above using the selector arrows ( ) on the front of your Mobile
FM Transmitter AFT-100.
6. Adjust the volume on your audio player for maximum enjoyment. Best results will generally be
achieved if the volume level is set between 50% and 75% of maximum.
7. Enjoy your music!
KEEP THE AUDIO LEVEL OF YOUR DEVICE BETWEEN 1/2 AND 3/4 OF MAXIMUM VOLUME OR
ABOVE FOR PREMIUM AUDIO QUALITY. ONCE YOU HAVE TUNED INTO THE FREQUENCY AND BEGUN
TRANSMITTING, ADJUST TO MEET YOUR SOUND PREFERENCE.
* Some audio sources output level is either too high or too low at the line-out jack. If it is too high, the sound might be distorted.
If it is too low, the sound might be too noisy. If this happens, connect the Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 to the headphone jack
and adjust the volume level on your audio device.
FEATURES
INSTANT-ON, AUTO-OFF
The Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 turns on automatically when audio is detected. Once audio is
detected, the LCD display will light up, indicating that the unit is transmitting the audio signal. If after
30 seconds there is no detection of audio, the Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 will shut down and turn
off the display lights.
3 MEMORY PRE-SETS
THE MOBILE FM TRANSMITTER AFT-100 PROVIDES 3 MEMORY PRESETS TO MAKE CHANGING
FREQUENCIES EASY AND CONVENIENT.
Find a radio frequency with little or no interference, and firmly depress one of the 3 small buttons on
the front of the unit, beneath the LCD display. Hold button until display lights on the transmitter blink,
typically 2-3 seconds. This will store the frequency into memory. A small indicator bar will appear on
display. As you discover additional frequencies throughout your traveling area, store up to 2 more
utilizing the remaining buttons.
WHEN YOUR MOBILE FM TRANSMITTER AFT-100 IS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, THE MEMORY
FEATURE WILL CONVENIENTLY RETUNE TO THE FREQUENCY YOU WERE USING.
YOUR PERSONAL AUDIO DEVICE WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHUT DOWN. BE SURE TO POWER OFF
YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE BEFORE EXITING YOUR VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR DEVICE OPERATES
ON BATTERY POWER.

Q. What stations can I use to transmit my audio?
A. The Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100 transmits on the full spectrum of the FM band. So select any
frequency with the least interference in your traveling area between 88.1MHz and 107.9MHz and tune in.
Q. Does it matter how I plug in the Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100?
A. Yes. The top of the unit is marked with with the iRiver logo. The Memory Pre-set buttons should be
located at the bottom front when the unit is installed correctly.
Q. How can I achieve maximum performance and sound quality from Mobile FM Transmitter?
A. Before using the Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100, listen to the FM band and select a frequency with the
least amount of interference. The pre-set features allows you to mark and remember the 3 clearest
stations for broadcasting in your traveling area. If you turn off the car or the unit, the memory feature
will bring you right back to where you left off. That eliminates your need to constantly adjust the station.
