Application fields
1
The SingleHeater with control unit is a complete, miniaturized IRT unit for drying and heating. Other examples of applications could be hardening,
shrinking, melting and gelatinization.
The SingleHeater is compact and easy to install.
If a larger area is to be heated, several cassettes can be installed at regular spacing in width or length.
The considerable flexibility means that the system can be used for heating and drying. Several power ratings are available.

Warning!
Intense radiant heat
Avoid looking directly into active IR light.
The surfaces of the SingleHeater could be hot.
Heating of sections of human bodies (hands face etc.) is not permissible.
Warning!
The SingleHeater must not be used in areas where the solvent content in the atmosphere exceeds 25% of the lower explosion limit (Please
refer to the EN 1010 and EN 1127 standards plus draught standard prEN 1539).
At installation of cassettes a distance of at least 100 mm to any stationary flammable material must be maintained.
Before use make sure to:
•Read the manual for SingleHeater
•Inform personal how to use the SingleHeater
•Disconnect the cable to the SingleHeater before service.
•Ask an expert to do the work. Only trained electricians should do any electrical installation work
•Unauthorised tampering invalidates the guarantee

Installation instruction
5
Check that the contents correspond with the dispatch note.
Install the cassettes in the intended locations. Be careful when handling and installing the cassette.
NOTE! Electrical connections must only be made by a competent electrician.
The SingleHeater can be installed side by side or lengthways.
The width of the warmed area can be adjusted by installing the cassettes at an angle. Maximum heating width is 270 mm for the 360 mm cassette,
400 mm for the 500 mm cassette and 690 mm for the 790 mm cassette.
Cassettes with external fans can be installed with a minimum gap of 10 mm between each unit. In case of integrated fan a distance of at least 100
mm between the cassettes is valid.
External fans should be used in high ambient temperatures >45°C or in dirty environments.
Cassettes should be shielded to prevent any irritating light leakage.
At installation of cassettes a distance of at least 100 mm to any stationary flammable material must be maintained.
Attachment:
At the upper side of the SingleHeater there are two M6 screws with a distance of 244mm
Along the sides of the SingleHeater profile there are slots designed to fit a M6 hex nut to enable mounting without fixed locations, which increase the
adjustability.

Maintenance
8
Weekly
Check each week that the bulbs light up when the cassette is in operation. A damaged bulb will cause uneven temperature on the heated surface.
Also check that all cables are undamaged. A damaged cable can be lethally dangerous!
Monthly
Check the gold reflectors. Damaged or very dirty gold reflectors can cause damage to the reflector body and/or the cassette.
Every quarter
The air filter should be changed once a quarter. If the surface of the filter gets soiled earlier, the filter should be changed (cleaned).
