1. INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
1.1 Objeto y contenido
El objetivo de este manual es aportar toda la información necesaria al usuario, para la correcta
utilización de la camilla, de la manera más segura, proporcionando información sobre los detalles
técnicos, funcionamiento, mantenimiento…
1.2 Conservación del manual de instrucciones
El manual de instrucciones y mantenimiento debe ser guardado junto con la camilla, dentro del
bolsillo acondicionado para ello, protegido de sustancias o líquidos que puedan dañarlo.
2. ADVERTENCIAS GENERALES
Antes de realizar cualquier operación con el equipo, el usuario debe leer atentamente el manual de
instrucciones adjunto, prestando atención a las instrucciones de seguridad, el proceso que debe
seguir para el montaje de la camilla y el correcto uso de la misma.
Compruebe la camilla regularmente, realice el mantenimiento prescrito para mantener la
camilla en buen estado y garantizar su buen funcionamiento y durabilidad.
En caso de detectar cualquier anomalía o daño que pueda poner en peligro el
funcionamiento de la camilla o la propia seguridad del usuario, la camilla debe ser
inmediatamente retirada del uso.
No alterar o modificar la camilla de ninguna manera, ya que puede causar daños al paciente
y/o rescatador.
Asegurarse de que se toman todas las medidas de precaución necesarias a fin de evitar
peligros que puedan surgir como resultado de contacto con sangre o fluidos corporales.
Manipular con precaución.
2.1 Advertencias específicas
La camilla debe ser utilizada únicamente por personal formado y competente en su uso
seguro.
El equipo no está diseñado para inmovilización de la columna. En caso de sospecha de
daños vertebrales, asegurar al paciente con un equipo de inmovilización especial aprobado
antes de colocarlo en la camilla.
NOTA: la camilla debe ser almacenada en su funda para evitar una exposición prolongada a
la luz solar que pueda dañar el plástico.
3. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO
3.1 Aplicación
La camilla de rescate IRUDEK ECO ha sido configurada como un sistema de rescate
extremadamente flexible, a utilizar en cualquier situación donde sea necesario trasladar al paciente
y particularmente en situaciones climatológicas difíciles donde se requiere un rescate rápido. Esta
camilla puede ser conectada con la ayuda de las cintas suministrada y utilizando una cuerda
apropiada, a un helicóptero. La camilla puede ser
utilizada como estructura para levantar otros equipamientos. Es compatible con apoyos para
columna vertebral y otros equipos de inmovilización.

4.INSTRUCCIONES DE USO DE LA CAMILLA DE RESCATE IRUDEK ECO
4.1 Transporte y almacenaje
Antes de transportar la camilla, asegurarse de que está correctamente embalada y que no hay riesgo
de golpes o caída durante el transporte. Asegurarse que la cinta de seguridad alrededor del
dispositivo está fijado, antes de introducirlo dentro de la funda de transporte. Guarde el embalaje
original para su transporte. La garantía no cubre los
daños que la camilla pueda sufrir durante el transporte. La camilla debe ser almacenada en un lugar
seco y libre de humedad.
Después de su utilización, colocar la camilla dentro de su funda, para evitar que se deteriore debido
a su exposición a la luz ultravioleta.

4.2 Preparación
Una vez reciba la camilla:
Retirar el embalaje y exponer los componentes.
Comprobar que están todos los componentes de la camilla.
NOTA: Se debe verificar la camilla antes de cada uso para comprobar que no presenta
anomalías o daños causados durante su transporte o almacenaje.
4.3. Funcionamiento
El dispositivo debe ser utilizado de la siguiente manera.
(A)Desenrollar la camilla y colocarlo en posición plana
a) Retire el dispositivo de la funda y colóquelo sobre el suelo.
b) Desate la cinta.
c) Pisar la parte de los pies de la camilla y desenrollarlo completamente.
d)Antes de comenzar el rescate, verificar que la camilla esté plana.
B) Cómo colocar al paciente
1.- Método 1
a) colocar la camilla cerca del paciente.
Colocar la parte superior de la camilla
cerca de la cabeza del paciente.
b) colocar al paciente de lado y deslice
la camilla bajo el paciente en la medida de lo
posible, con cuidado sitúe al paciente sobre la camilla.
c) deslice al paciente hacia el centro de la
camilla. Cerciorarse de mantener la columna del
paciente lo más recta posible.
d) ajustar las cintas a las hebillas.
2.- Método 2
a) colocar la zona de los pies de la
camilla frente a la cabeza del paciente.
b) hacer que un rescatador sujete la cabeza, el
cuello y los hombros del paciente.

c) coger las cintas de la parte de los
pies de la camilla y deslizarlo bajo el
paciente.
d) tumbar al paciente en la parte central de
la camilla y ajustar las cintas a las hebillas.
(C) Cómo colocar y ajustar las cintas a las hebillas
a) desenrollar la camilla y colocarla en posición plana.
b) levantar los lados de la camilla y ajustar las
4 cintas cruzadas a las hebillas.
c) la camilla dispone de varios ojales, las cuales se
pueden utilizar para fijar cintas para inmovilizar
al paciente.
d) Conectar las hebillas de las cintas en la camilla
adecuadamente.
(D) Evacuación horizontal
Se utilizan 2 cintas de nylon para enganchar y
transportar la camilla. La cinta que se utiliza
para la parte superior (cabeza) es
aproximadamente 10 cm más corta que la cinta
que se utiliza para la parte inferior (pies).
a)introducir un extremo de la cinta en la ranura
para evacuación que dispone la camilla a la altura
de la cabeza.
b)pasar las cintas por debajo del a camilla
e introducirlas en la ranura de la parte opuesta
de la camilla.
c)asegurarse de que las dos cintas tienen la
misma longitud y repetir la operación en el
otro extremo de la camilla (zona de los pies)
d)asegurarse de que los 4 extremos de las 2
cintas son de la misma longitud y unir con
un mosquetón.
E ) Evacuación vertical
Utilizar la cuerda de 9 metros suministrada.
a) Pasar cada extremo de la cuerda por los
ojales de la parte superior ( cabeza ) de la camilla.
Tirar del nudo hacia arriba contra la camilla.
b) Seguir pasando la cuerda por los ojales que
no se estén en uso hasta el otro extremo final de
la camilla ( pies ). Asegurarse de que los dos
extremos de la cuerda estén a la par.
c) Pasar los extremos de las cuerdas por los ojales
en la parte de los pies de la camilla por la parte
interna hacia fuera. Atar los extremos de la
cuerda con un nudo.

d) Traer los extremos de la cuerda al extremo
final de la camilla ( pies ). Pasar a través de las
asas de transporte y asegurar con un nudo de
seguridad a cada lado.
IMPORTANTE: El dispositivo, útil para operaciones de rescate en espacios estrechos y terrenos
ásperos, nunca debe ser evacuado utilizando sólo un ojal.
TRANSPORTE MANUAL: Con la ayuda de las 4 asas, es posible transportar el dispositivo
manualmente. Los ojales se pueden utilizar como anclajes para las asas. Las cintas pueden
conectarse a las asas a fin de deslizar la camilla por el suelo.
ENROLLAR EL DISPOSITIVO
Coloque la cinta de sujeción y hebilla hacia abajo en el extremo de los pies de la camilla.
Comenzando por el extremo de la cabeza, enrolle la camilla lo más apretado posible.
Continuar enrollando la camilla con la ayuda de la rodilla para evitar que la camilla se desenrolle.
Ajustar la cinta de sujeción a la hebilla y coloque la camilla en la funda.

5.MANTENIMIENTO
5.1. Limpieza
La superficie de carga, así como las cintas y cuerdas, pueden ensuciarse durante los trabajos de
rescate o transporte, por fluidos corporales o sangre. Debido a los materiales utilizados en su
fabricación ( materiales sintéticos, polímeros ), se pueden utilizar productos desinfectantes para su
limpiza.
El proceso de desinfección se puede llevar a cabo con un desinfectante normal como por ejemplo
una loción antiséptica.
5.2 Mantenimiento
El dispositivo no requiere ningún mantenimiento periódico.
Antes y después de cada uso, verificar el buen funcionamiento del dispositivo, identificando
y detectando anomalías, las cuales pueden comprometer su integridad y correcto
funcionamiento.

FICHADE CONTROL
La ficha de control debe ser rellenada antes de la primera entrega del equipo para su empleo.
Toda la información referente al equipo de protección individual (nombre, número de serie, fecha
de compra y fecha de primera puesta en servicio, nombre de usuario, histórico de las revisiones
periódicas y reparaciones, y próxima fecha para la revisión periódica) debe estar anotado en la ficha
de control del equipo.
La ficha debe ser rellenada únicamente por el responsable del equipo de protección.
No utilizar el equipo de protección individual sin su ficha de control debidamente rellenada.

1.GENERAL INFORMATION
a. 1.1 Aim and contents
The aim of this manual is to supply all the information necessary so that the client, apart from
attaining an adequate use of the appliance, will also be capable of using the instrument in the most
autonomous and secure way possible. This includes information regarding technical aspects,
functioning, maintenance, spare parts and safety.
1.2 Conservation of the instruction manual
The instruction and maintenance manual must be kept with te product, inside the specially provided
container and above all, away from any substances or liquids which could compromise perfect
legibility.
2. GENERAL WARNINGS
Before carrying out any kind of operation on the product, the operator must carefully read the
enclosed instructions paying attention to the correct safety precautions, the procedures to be
followed for installation and correct usage.

Regurlarly check the appliance. Carry out the prescribed maintenance in order to keep the
appliance in good condition and to guarantee correct functioning and a long life.
In the case of any abnomalities or damage to the appliance, which could jeopardize the
functioning and safety, the appliance must be immediately removed from service.
Do not alter or modify the appliance in any way, such interference could cause malfunctions
and injury to the patient and/or rescuer.
Ensure that all the necessary precautions are taken in order to avoid hazards that can arise as
the result of contact, with blood or body fluids.
Handle with care
2.1 Specific Warnings
The product must be used by trained personnel only.
The device is NOT designed as a spinal immobilization device. If a spinal injury is
suspected, secure the patient to an approved spinal immobilization device prior to placing
him/her in the stretcher.
NOTA: The device should be stored in the back pack, as prolonged exposure to sunlight (UV
rays) can damage all plastics.
3. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
3.1 Intended use
The recovery stretcher IRUDEK ECO has been configured as an extremely flexible rescue system,
useable in any context where patient transport is needed and particularly useful

in morphologic and difficult climatic situations where a fast recovery is requested. This stretcher
can be anchored with the help of the clips fixed to the belts, to the helicopter with the dedicated
rope. The stretcher can be used as structure for lifting other equipment. The system is compatible
with spinal boards, scoop stretcher, spinal supports, and many other immobilization devices.

4.OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECOVERY STRETCHER ECO SEKURAL
4.1 Transportation and Storage
Before transporting the appliance, make sure that it is correctly packaged ensuring that there are no
risks of shocks or falls during the transport itself. Make sure the application of the supplied safely
belt around the device is secure, before pulling it inside the
backpack and transporting it. Keep the original packaging for any eventual further transport.
Damage to the appliance caused during transport and handling is not covered under the guarantee.

Repairs of replacements of the damaged parts are the responsibility of the client. The appliance
must be stored in a dry place free from humidity.
After use, replace the stretcher inside its container, in order to prevent it from potential decays
caused by elevated exposure to ultra-violet rays.
4.2 Preparation
On receiving the product:
Remove the packing and display the material so that all is visible.
Check that all the components/pieces on the accompanying list are present.

NOTE: The appliance must be checked before every use so as to reveal any working
abnormalities and/or damage caused by transport and/or storage.
4.3. Functioning
The use of the device must take place as described hereafter:
(A)To unroll the stratcher and lay flat
a) Remove the device from pack and place on the ground
b) Unfasten retainer strap
c) Step on foot end of the stretcher, and unroll completely to opposite end.
d) Before starting the rescue operation, bend the stretcher in half and back roll. Repeat with
opposite end of stretcher. The device will now lay flat.
(B) How to place a patient
1.- Method 1
a) Place the device next to patient. Ensure head end of
stretcher is adjacent to head of patient. Place cross straps
under the stretcher.
b) Place the patient and slide the stretcher under the
patient as far as possible. Gently roll patient down on the
stretcher.
c) Slide patient to centre of the stretcher. Be sure to keep
spinal column as straight as possible.
d) Pull straps out from under the stretcher and fasten to
buckles.
2.- Method 2

a) Position foot end of the stretcher at the head
of patient.
b) Have one rescuer straddle the stretcher and support the
patients head, neck and shoulders.
c) Grasp foot straps of the stretcher and slide it under the patient.
d) Lay the patient at the centre of the stretcher and fasten
straps to buckles.
(C)How to position and fasten straps to buckles
a) Unroll the strecher and lay flat.
b) Lift sides of the stretcher and fasten the four cross straps
to buckle directly opposite the straps.
c) At the end of the stretcher there will be a few unused metal
rings, which can be used for fixing the bells for immobilization..
d) Buckle the straps of the stretcher in proper manner.
(D) Lifting operations and positioning on the
ground
Two nylon belts are used for anchoring and transport
of the stretcher. The belt to be used for the upper part (head)
is about 10 cm shorter than the one used for the lower
Part (feet)
a) Insert one end of head strap through lift slot at the
head end of stretcher.
b) Bring the straps under stretcher and through lift,
slot on opposite side of stretcher.
c) Make sure the two ends of the belt are equally long and
repeal the operation at the other end of the stretcher.
d) Make sure the four ends of the two belts are equally long and
fix them to connector.
E ) Vertical lift
Use the supplied rope length of 9 meter with figure
of 8 knot in the centre.
a)Pass each end of the rope through grommets at the
head of the stretcher. Pull the knot up against the
stretcher.
b)Continue feeding rope through unused grommets and
carrying handles all the way to the foot end of
stretcher. Ensure both ends of the rope are even.
c)Pass the rope ends through grommets at the foot
end of stretcher from the inside outward. Tie
the ends of the rope together with a square knot.
d)Bring ends of the rope up over the end of the stretcher.
Pass through carrying handled and secure with a square
knot safely each side with an over hand knot.

IMPORTANT: The device, useable for rescue operations in narrow spaces, heights, rough
terrains and in water, may never be lifted with one ring only.
MANUAL TRANSPORT: With the help of the set of four handles it is possible to transport the
device manually. The free metal rings of the stretcher can be used as anchorage for the handles.
Transport belts can be connected to the handles in order to side the stretcher on the terrain.
ROLLING UP THE DEVICE
Lay the stretcher out and place retainer strap, buckle side down under foot end of the stretcher.
Starting at the head end, roll the stretcher up as tight as possible. Continue to roll the stretcher up
using knee to keep stretcher from unrolling. Fasten pre-placed retainer strap to buckle and place the
stretcher in the back pack.

5.MANTENIMIENTO
5.1 Cleaning
The loading surface as well as belts and ropes, may be contaminated during various phases of the
rescue and transport operations, by body liquids and blood. With the help of the materials used for
the constructions of the device like polymers and other synthetic materials, it is possible to use,
without any risk of incompatibility, usual products for desinfection. Dis-infection should be carried
out with normal disinfectants for example any anti-septic lotion, every time after use.
5.2 Maintenance
The device does not require scheduled servicing.
Before and after use, in order to detect any anomalies or damages, verify the correct
functioning of the device by identifying and removing anomalies which could compromise
its integrity and correct operation.

CHECK CARD
The check card should be filled in before the first use.
All information about the personal protective equipment ( name, serial number, date of purchase
and date of putting into operation, user name, periodic examination and repair history, and next
periodic examination date ) shall be noted into de check card.
All records in the check card can only be filled in by a competent person.
Do not use the personal protective equipment without a duly filled check card.
