Description
The battery powered Isaacs TH800 (One-button) or TH802 (Four-button) push-button, handheld transmitter
monitors the state of its contacts (push buttons) and sends uniquely coded radio signals to its mated Isaacs
receiver(s). The mated receiver detects the signal and uses it to control its relay output(s). In addition to the
change-of-state signals, the transmitter sends periodic status signals to allow full supervision of the wireless
system. Unless requested by the customer, receiver supervision is not programmed with handheld transmitters to
prevent nuisance fault(s) if the transmitter is taken out of receiver range.

CAUTION
The handheld transmitter is a portable
device and ready to use out of the box. During
receiver installation, locate the transmitter in a
safe place to prevent inadvertent system
activation.
If the hand held transmitter will be used in
a dusty or damp environment, keeping the unit

Operation and Maintenance
The TH800 or TH802 transmits a closed-contact signal when a button is pressed and an open-contact
signal when that button is released. The keypad operation is buffered by a one-half second delay of the signal
transmission after a change in button status. The LED indicator on the transmitter cover will flash whenever the
transmitter is active.
The TH800 transmitter is a single button transmitter that may be programmed to operate the one relay
output of a RD810 receiver, and also one or more outputs of an RD811 or RD812 receiver.
The TH802 transmitter is a four button transmitter that can be programmed to control from one to four
outputs of an RD812 receiver. Each of the four buttons of the TH802 transmits a unique signal. Simultaneously
pressing multiple buttons (pressed within one-half second) will command the receiver to activate all outputs that are
programmed to those buttons. Once a transmission begins (LED flashing) the transmitter will not react to another
button-press command until the first transmission is complete (approximately 2 seconds).
The only maintenance required is periodic transmitter battery replacement. Battery life will vary depending
on the rate of transmitter activity, but normal battery life is 3 to 5 years. A new battery carries 3.2 volts. Replace
any battery measuring less than 2.8 volts while the unit is transmitting (during button press or release).
Battery replacement
Open the handheld case by inserting a small screwdriver in the notch at this end and pressing gently.
