STRAIGHTENING
STEP1 : Prep your hair. Make sure your hair is clean & tangle -free.
STEP2 : Depending on your hair type and hair length - this information below is aimed at Medium hair type and
shoulder length hair. Take a “2 wide x 1/4” thick section of hair.
Move the Styler over the sectioned hair starting at the roots about “ 1/4" away from the scalp, run the Styler
slowly through to the endsof the hair withlight pressure.
STEP3 : Repeat this process, section by section until your hair is completely straightened, soft and smooth.
CURLING
The steam hair straightener with its rounded edge plates enables you to also create Curls, waves, and lots of
other hair styles. You are also able to vary the texture to give a purposefully imperfect look to your hair, one that is
messy-cute and untidy.
STEP1 : Prep your hair . make sure your hair is clean & tangle -free.
STEP2 : Take a small section of hair, and insert it into your Styler. Your sections can vary in size for a more natural,
beautifully imperfect look - this up to you. You may also decide where you would like your curl to start and can
place your Styler accordingly.
STEP 3:
Twist your wrist, (the one holding the Styler), about a half-turn, then pull
, thentwistagain,then pull. Keep
repeating this until you reachthe endofyour hair. For a more beach feel
,keep the very ends ofyour hairout of the
styler.
STEP4
(ALTERNATIVE): Twist and pull just as Step 3 indicated, but for a tighter, more
curly curl, twist the mid-shaft to ends
around the entire iron mimicking what you would do with a curling iron.
STEP5:
Continue with Step 3
For morevariation and imperfection with yourstyle. You may opttoswitch the
direction
of you curls, vary the section size, and begin the curls at different parts
of your sections. Youmay want tochangethe
directionofyourcurls near your face,(depending
on the side), if you wish to have them sweep away from your face.
Again, this is a
personal preference that is entirely up to you.
STEP6:
Comb your fingers through to break up the curls. Take your hands and
shake your hair out. K
eep inmind that
using the Styler to curl is a technique that takes some practice, so bepatient with yourself. This technique ismeant tobe
sexy, creative, and flirty. so just have fun with it! Now, it’s your turn to try it out.
