1. Pull down latch to open gate and place on wire
2. Attach either a karabiner or textile sling into attachment eye
3. Endstops MUST be tted
4. Ensure compatibility between Zippey and chosen braking system
5. Ensure braking system is correctly positioned to avoid displacement of Zippey on
impact
6. To maximise the lifespan of any trolley (of any brand), be sure to use a cable of
better quality (smoother construction). This will result in less damage being caused to
the trolley bearings in use
[D] Misuse
1. Do not attach a karabiner through the gate
2. Do not use as a zip line trolley without Endstops
[E] Pre-Use check
1. Check Endstops for cracks
2. Ensure that the screws are present and tight
3. Check that wheels rotate freely. *Note that the rubber seals on sealed bearing
models will create some drag when testing by hand. This is normal, the bearings should
still feel smooth
4. Check that the latch and gate return by themselves, back to the locked position
5. Check for sharp edges and burrs around the attachment eye. Slings should also be
checked
6. Check the security of any accessories that are tted
