Voltage Display
In measurement mode, press C button to switch display mode they are status display mode;
graphic display mode and histogram display mode.
his mode is used to accurately display the voltage of battery. The icons on the right side of the screen
represent each alarm functions. When the alarm function is enabled, the corresponding icon would
flash when the alarm is active. This alarm can be disabled by pressing the C button.

Graphic mode is used to quickly and intuitively indicate the battery level. The indication of the battery
level depends on how you set the battery type setting option.
Histogram can tell you the voltage change during usage of battery. The upper part tells you the lowest
voltage recorded during usage. The lower part shows you current voltage.
For on-board measurement, it’s recommended to use this mode, after your flight by checking histo-
gram, it can easily tell how well is your battery. If the lowest voltage of one cell is extremely lower than
the others the resistance is bigger than other cells.

In measurement mode, press and hold S button to enter setting mode, details showed in the figure.
Press S button to switch setting options, press C button to change parameters. Press and hold S button
to save setting than return to measurement mode
A. battery type options, this option will cause how the battery percent display in the graphic display
mode.
B. Voltage low threshold alarm setting, from 2.5~3.9V, “OFF” means disable low –voltage alarm
function.
C. Voltage high threshold alarm setting, this setting is related with battery type. It can be set over
+20~80mV than full voltage, “OFF” means disable high –voltage alarm function.
D. Inter-Battery voltage threshold alarm setting, while the voltage difference is over the set value
it will trigger the alarm. Set value can be from 100 to 400 mV. “OFF” means disable this function.
Function Setting
E. Automatic alarm function, “ON” means enable, “OFF” means disable; After enable this func-
tion, BC-8S could detect whether the motor is running or not, after motor stops running for more
than 1 minute alarm will be triggered. This function is designed to look for the losing UAV.
To confirm that the function is reliable, perform a functional test on the ground. When this func-
tion is enabled, while the motor starts or stops, and BC-8S will make the alarm sound. Only after
the BC-8S working properly with the test, user can use this function. Because the variety of
model moto, electronic speed controller and battery, it can’t be assured that BC-8S is suitable
for every model. If BS-8S couldn’t detect the stop&start of motor please do not use this function.
F. One minute alarm function, “ON” means enable, “OFF” means disable; After enable this
function, it will cause an alarm sound every 1 minute. This function can be used to indicate that
the system is not powered off.
G. Mute function, “ON” means mute, “OFF” means normal. In this mode , it will mute button
sound and boot tone, not applicable for the activated alarm sound
H. Display rotation setting, “Normal” means normal display, “Reversed” means rotated with 180
°. This function is designed for on-board usage and for left-handed users.
Function Setting
This battery checker is suitable for :Li-pol, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Hv Li-ion; this battery checker is only suitable for
the connection with balance port of battery, please do not connect with the output port of battery.
While connect to the battery checker, negative electrode of the balance port must start from
“BAT-“ . Reverse protection circuit is inside the BC-8S, no damage will cause to BC-8S while connect
reversely.
BC-8S is designed for RC areas, please don’t use this on other purpose.
For on board usage, in order to make sure sound from buzzer is loud enough, do not block the buzzer
sound hole.
Warning
I. Display contrast setting, it has 1~8 levels, for outdoor usage turn up contrast to increase
visibility.
J. Language setting, can switch between English&Chinese.
