This user manual was compiled to offer a guide on the installation of SIRIO.
For the installation of the devices, set-up of the opening and other operations not described herein, refer to the installation

The installation, initial set-up and changes to the setting, require the intervention of qualified staff, properly trained by
ISEO Zero1.

Functionality
The function of this battery is to allow the Atlas controller a safe shutdown in case of the main power supply failure.
The power supply and the NiMH battery levels are monitored by the firmware.
When there is a power supply failure, the firmware close the serial channel and other peripherals to preserve all the NiMH
battery charge to manage the database. When also the NiMH battery level is too low, the firmware closes all the
databases and make a safe shutdown.
This battery is not used as power back-up system in absence of the power supply.
The NiMH battery can last up to half an hour without power supply depending on the Atlas configuration and connected
devices.

When the Atlas is in the warehouse and not connected, this battery discharges and therefore to keep this battery healty,
you need to connect the power supply for 24 hours to recharge the NiMH battery.
After a recharge cycle, to switch off the Atlas proceed as follows:
- unplug the power supply, the green led [V1] turns off and the battery led indicator [R1] turns on;
- hold the S3 button on the back of the Atlas until the red led [R2] turns on;
- during this time the controller performs a safe shutdown;
- the operation is complete when all the leds turn off.

Functionality
It’s a non-rechargeable Lithium battery.
This battery will discharge in about 4 years.
In stock
If there is no power supply and the Atlas is switch off, the
Battery runs approximately in one year. In this condition,
this battery keeps the clock circuit on.
Spare part
You can replace the original one with a new standard
CR 2032 battery.
To replace this battery proceed as follows:
- remove the four screws [BS] from the back and remove
the panel (img.1);
- remove the rubber foot [RF] and the screw [SC] on the
bottom side (img.2);
- extract the electronic board from the box (img.3);
- remove and replace the lithium battery (img.3).
