Description of CO2-Neutral ISPA Water Filter FS200
USER MANUA
This ISPA FS200 water filter cleans contaminated pre-filtered fresh water transforming it into clean
drinking water in a short period of time.
The cleaning process takes place by the water passing through a series of treatment processes in
terms of filters and activated carbon being UV treated by the sun through the hardened glas.
The ISPA water filter is developed, designed and produced in Denmark. The ISPA water filter
complies with described Danish safety provisions.

In order to avoid damage to persons and/or device please read this manual carefully before putting
the FS200 into operation.
We recommend you keep the manual for future use.
Warning and Safety Instructions
The FS200 is only supposed to be used for purification of contaminated fresh water. The
manufacturer is not responsible for errors arising from wrong handling or because the device was
used for other purposes than specified.
In order to avoid accidents and injuries please pay attention to the following:
-The F200 cannot work properly when placed flat on the ground. It must be installed, for
instance on the side of a wall, in a somehow upwards position with respect to catching the
rays of the sun in the most efficient way .
-FS200 must be installed outside facing the sun on a firm level surface. Preferable on a wall
or individual grid

-Distance vertical from reservoir to water intake must be some 70 cms to ensure required
water pressure for the cleaning process. Max 70 cm is essential as the water needs a
certain time processing the activated charcoal and Uvlight from sun inside the core
-The FS200 may only be sold and maintained through authorized dealers and technicians.
-Avoid that people who are not qualified (have read this manual) operate the device.
Accessories for FS200
Only use external filters and/or fittings recommended by ISPA.
By Receipt of FS200
Check device for obvious damage before installation. An obviously damaged device shall never be
used.
USE OF THE FS200
Installation:
Check that all packaging material around the device is removed. Place the FS200 on a solid
surface or install it on a wall. Connect the hose with dirty water from reservoir to intake and put a
container under the hose with clean water from the outtake.
Preparation for use:
When installing a new FS200 it is required to let the water run for minimum 1 hour in order to
ensure a fresh flow of fresh clean water. When FS200 has been idle for a week or more please
repeat this procedure for 10-15 min.
Always connect the hose with dirty fresh water to the STAGE 1 filter and to place a container for
clean drinking water under STAGE 2 filter

MAINTENANCE – INSTA ATION – TRANSPORT
Preventive Maintenance.
The FS200 will work satisfactory when the following preventive procedures are followed:

-FS200 may only use activated carbonated charcoal delivered from the distributor. Please

-To ensure quality and efficiency of cleaning process please replace activated coal every 3
years.
-FS200 micron filters to be replaced every 3 months or when necessary. Please from
[email protected]. FS200 is delivered with 1 set of replacement filters for continuos drinking
water flow for 6 months.
-You replace micron filters by gently placing the FS200 in horizontal position with the front
down. You then gently unscrew the filters and replace them with new ones.
-External cleaning of FS200 is done weekly by using a brush or damp cloth. No chemicals
shall be used.
-So-called BACKWASHING is to take place every week / 7 days or when necessary. The
backwashing process is when you let clean water run into FS200 reversely from the normal
process, meaning you let clean water run into the outtake and out through the intake. In
case of doubts related to this place ask ISPA or distributor for advice!
Transport:
FS200 must be protected against shock, moisture and frost during transportation. Damaged
packages must be opened in the presence of staff from the delivery company which on the
consignment note must witness the damage. Only photos will be accepted as evidence.
When transporting the device after having put into service, please empty the device for water
before transport. This is done by turning the device upside down for minimum one hour after
disconnection of the water. Device may be moved around without emptying for water as long as
you keep it in vertical position.

Maintenance and Repairs
Maintenance and replacement of parts and repairs must be performed only by qualified technical
personnel. ISPA signs a service contract that covers maintenance and repairs with local
distributors in order to ensure a continuous and optimum service of the device.
