1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION


The original packaging is designed to ensure that the device can be transported and stored without
being damaged, provided that this is done in dry, well-ventilated areas away from heat sources.

5. INSTALLATION
A place that is protected from water, away from heat sources and direct sunlight should be chosen for
its installation.
We recommend separating the GATE’s cables from any cables that may generate electrical noise.

6. START-UP

To work with a connection to the cloud, follow the steps below:

- Connect your computer to the GATE via the Ethernet cable

-  on the computer with the following settings:
- IP Address: 10.1.1.1
- Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
- Default gateway: <leave blank>

- In the Windows search box, open the Control Panel
- View by: Category -> Select "View network status and tasks", in the “Network and Internet”
category.
- Identify your active network and click on "Ethernet".
- Then select "Properties".
- Search for the option “Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” and then click on properties.

- Go to the GATE’s webpage > http://10.1.1.10:7777

- Connect to the GATE’s Wi-Fi network > "ITC GATE-xxxxxx” with the password "webscada".
Where "xxxxxx" > are the 6 digits of the GATE's serial number.

- Contact your provider to obtain your cloudmanager username and password.
- Connect the GATE to the Router via Ethernet (either directly or via a switch), and connect the
controller via RS485. Wait for 3 minutes.
- Visit https://www.itc-cloud-manager.com to view the connected device.

7. MAINTENANCE
7.1 The unit is greyed out in cloudmanager
ERROR CAUSE SOLUTION
The GATE has no internet
connection.
The internet service is not down. Contact your ISP.
The Ethernet cable is damaged or
not working properly.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
The GS5 jumper is not open. Open the GS5 jumper and wait
for 5 - 10 minutes.
The GATE’s internal Ethernet
cable is damaged.
Contact [email protected]
The ITCGATE-xxxx network
is not being detected.
The GATE’s microSD card is not
working properly.
Replace the microSD card with
another supplied by ITC.
Incorrect SCADA MODE
setting.
SCADA MODE is set to LOCAL. Change the SCADA MODE
setting to "Network".
See point 6. START-UP.

Connect the GATE to the power
supply.
The error keeps happening
while connected to a
WTRTEC / Dosmart /
Dostec AC device.
The RS485 / Modbus


Follow your device’s manual to
change the RS485 / Modbus
conguration.
The GS3 and GS4 jumpers are
closed in version 4 of the board.
Open the GS3 and GS4 jumpers.
The GS3 and GS4 jumpers are
open in version 2 of the board.
Close the GS3 and GS4 jumpers.
Bad RS485 cable connection
between the GATE and the
device.
Connect the RS485 cable
correctly.
See point 5.2 Connection between
devices.
The RS485 cable is close to other
cables that generate too much
noise.
Try to separate the RS485 cable
from any cables that may cause
interference by generating noise.
