family. This user manual is meant to oer you a brief walkthrough of the
device’s features and usage protocols. We hope you find this manual

1 Use and store device at normal temperatures. Extreme temperatures
may damage device.
2 Do not expose device to rain or wet conditions
3 Handle device with normal care. Do not drop on hard surfaces.
4 Do not attempt to service product yourself.
5 Never use chemical agents or solvents to clean unit.
6 Please do not mindlessly discard device’s lithium-ion battery or expose
it to fire. Risk of explosion.
7 When not in use over prolonged period of time, please charge battery
once a month to promote battery longevity.

Operation
Basics:
- To play music from any compatible device without connecting over
Bluetooth network, insert any standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable into
Auxiliary In Jack (part #8).
- To listen to music/radio using headphones, insert a 3.5mm headphone
cable into the designated jack. When headphones are in use, built-in
loudspeaker will be muted for discrete listening.
- To charge built-in lithium ion battery, connect included Mini-USB cable to
charging port (part #12). Plug other end into computer USB port, or connect
to AC adapter and plug into wall outlet. Red LED indicator will remain lit
while charging.
Power and Volume:
- Power on by switching On/O Toggle Switch (part #10) to On position.
- Adjust output volume by long-pressing Back/Volume- and Forward/
Volume+ buttons (parts #4 ).
- Power o by switching On/O Toggle Switch (part #10) to O position.
Note: The volume levels of your connected device equally aect the
possible volume levels of the BikeBeacon. Ensure connected device’s
volume is adequately loud.
Light:
- Short-press Light Button (part #7) to switch between High Beam, Low
Beam, and Continuous Flash modes. Pressing the button a 4th time shuts
the light o.
- To enter SOS Emergency Flash mode, press and hold Light Button (part
#7) for approximately 3 seconds. This can be done when light is o or
while in any other light mode.
Alarm:
- Power on by switching On/O Toggle Switch (part #10) to On position.
- Press Alarm Button (part #3) to sound loud, realistic car alarm. This can be
turned on even during music playback or FM radio function.
- Short-press Play/Pause Button (part #6) to shut alarm o.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Switch On/O Toggle Switch (part #10) to On position.
- Long-press Mode Button (part #1). Blue LED indicator will flash. Device is
now in pairing mode.
- Turn on Bluetooth function on mobile device you wish to connect.
- When “IVASC88” appears on your mobile device, select it and enter
0000 if prompted.
- Short beep will sound. Devices are now connected.

Disconnecting:
- Power o BikeBeacon by switching On/O Toggle Switch (part #10) to O
position, or disable Bluetooth function on your connected device.
Music Playing:
- Once BikeBeacon is connected to your mobile device via Bluetooth, any
music you play on your device will stream to the BikeBeacon’s loudspeaker.
- Press Play/Pause Button (part #6) to pause playback.
- Short-press Back/Volume- and Forward/Volume+ buttons (parts #4 ) to
scroll between songs.
- When playing music from micro-SD card, long-press Mode Button (part
#1) to switch to Bluetooth Mode
Notes: Your connected mobile device must support this music player
control feature. Pair and connect your mobile device with BikeBeacon
before using this feature. Incoming calls will pause music automatically,
and speaker will stream incoming call tone. Music will resume after call
is done.
FM Radio:
- If music is playing, short-press Play/Pause Button (part #6).
- Long-press Mode Button (part #1) to turn on FM radio.
- Short-press Back/Volume- and Forward/Volume+ buttons (parts #4 ) to
scroll between radio stations.
- In FM radio mode, long-press Play/Pause Button (part #6) to enter tuner
scan mode. Short-press again to stop scan and begin playing.
Note: When connected to mobile device over Bluetooth, long-press Mode
Button (part #1) to switch back from FM radio to music playback.

Troubleshooting
No/Low Sound:
- Check for adequate battery charge level
- Increase volume level by long-pressing Forward/Volume+ Button (part #5)
Distortion or White Noise:
- Move BikeBeacon closer to connected mobile device
- Look for interference e.g. brick walls, nearby mobile devices
- Lower volume on BikeBeacon and/or on connected mobile device
- Check for adequate battery charge level
- Check integrity of music files on connected device
- Power o both BikeBeacon and mobile device, then power back on
and reconnect
Unable to Pair with Bluetooth Device:
- Ensure that your mobile device is Bluetooth compatible
- Check for adequate battery charge level
- Power o both BikeBeacon and mobile device, then power back on
and reconnect
