Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it, please do so
according to local regulations.

Thank you for purchasing your new iWantit wireless speaker system with bluetooth.
We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order that you fully
understand all the operational features oered. You will also nd some hints and tips to help you
resolve any issues.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction manual for future
reference.

DC AUX ON OFF

mains power
• This unit operates with a DC 9V 2A mains adapter (included).
To the
mains socket
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit. Unwind
the mains adapter to its full length. Connect the mains adapter to the DC socket on the
rear of the unit and a mains socket. Make sure the mains adapter is fully inserted into the
mains socket. The unit is now connected and ready to use.
• To switch the unit o completely, switch the ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to the
OFF position and / or unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
general operation
switching the unit On / O and selecting a function
• Switch the ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to the ON position. The unit will be in
STANDBY mode.
• Press and hold the / button to turn on the unit. The LED indicator will light up blue
(Bluetooth mode) or red (AUX mode).
• To completely turn the unit o, switch the ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to the
OFF position and then disconnect the unit from the mains socket.
If the unit is idle for more than 10 minutes, it will automatically switch to standby mode. Press
and hold the / button to switch on the unit again.

Press and hold the / button to switch between the Bluetooth (LED will light up blue)
and AUX modes (LED will light up red).

Press VOL +/– to adjust the volume.

bluetooth audio.
1. Press and hold the / button to switch to Bluetooth mode. The unit will beep and
the LED will ash quickly. The system is now in pairing mode and can be found.
2. Search for the name “iBT1412” in the Bluetooth devices list on your media source
device.
3. When connection is successful, the LED indicator will light up solid blue and beep. Your
unit is now ready for use.
• When the unit has found the last paired Bluetooth device, it will connect automatically.
• Press and hold / button and VOL + to cancel the current Bluetooth connection.
The unit will beep and the LED will ash rapidly. Repeat steps (1) to (3) to connect a new
Bluetooth device.
• Press and hold VOL –/+ to clear all previously connected Bluetooth devices. The blue LED
will ash slowly. To connect a new Bluetooth device, repeat steps (1) to (3).
• If the unit is not paired in a few minutes, it will exit pairing mode and return to
standby mode.
• The operating range of the Bluetooth audio for this unit is 10 metres, without
obstruction. Walls, structures and other objects may aect the Bluetooth range.
AUX operation
1. Before connecting to the mains socket, use a 3.5mm LINE IN cable (not included) to
connect your audio device through the AUX IN socket at the rear of the unit.
2. Connect the mains adapter to the mains socket and the unit.
3. Switch the ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to the ON position.
4. Press and hold the / button to select AUX mode. The LED indicator will light up
red.
5. In AUX mode, the unit will automatically start playback. You may operate your audio
device directly for playback features.

If a problem does occur, it may often be due to something very minor. The following table
contains various tips.

• Make sure mains adapter is connected to the mains socket and the unit
correctly.
• Turn on the unit using the ON/OFF switch at the rear.
Bluetooth
I cannot nd “iBT1412”
on my bluetooth
device
• Ensure the bluetooth function is activated on your bluetooth device.
• Ensure the unit is in pairing mode.
• Re-pair the unit to the device.
maintenance
• To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
• Do not spray an aerosol at or near the unit.
Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the mains socket before cleaning.

supply before connecting/disconnecting other
devices or moving the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket during
a lightning storm.
• In the interests of safety and to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption, never leave
the unit switched on while unattended for
long periods of time, e.g. overnight, while on
holiday or while out of the house. Switch it o
and disconnect the mains adapter from the
mains socket.

• Make sure the unit is not resting on top of the
mains adapter cable, as the weight of the unit
may damage the mains adapter cable and
create a safety hazard.

• The mains adapter will continue to draw
electricity from the mains supply when
plugged in the mains socket. In the
interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary
energy consumption, never leave the
adapter plugged in the mains socket
while unattended for long periods of time.

supply.

• Do not place the unit on or near appliances
which may cause electromagnetic interference.
If you do, it may adversely aect the operating
performance of the unit, and cause a distorted
picture or sound.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the unit and the remote
control.
• Never let anyone especially children push
anything into the holes, slots or any other
openings in the case - this could result in a fatal
electric shock.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other

product damage, do not expose this unit
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No

serious damage. Switch it o at the mains
immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and
consult your dealer.
