We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order that you fully
understand all the operational features it oers. You will also nd some hints and tips to help you
resolve any issues.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction manual for future
reference.

connecting the main unit and the speakers
1. Connect the Power Switch / Volume Controls USB plug to the main unit’s USB socket.
2. Connect the 2 speaker jacks to the satellite speakers. Rotate the power switch /
Volume control knob until you hear a click.
3. The Control’s LED indicator will blink slowly.

• After turning on the unit, keep the volume low and slowly increase it to your
desired listening level.
• Long-term exposure to loud volumes may cause hearing damage. It is best to
avoid extreme volume.

connecting an external audio device
This unit has 2 external audio input sockets. You can listen to an external audio / media
source device by connecting the Line in 1 / Line in 2 sources to the output sockets on your
external audio / media source device.

After making all necessary connections, connect the AC Adapter to the unit, then to a mains
socket. Your system is now ready for use.

Ensure the AC adapter is fully unplugged from the main socket if you are going away or when
the system is not in use for an extended period of time.
Refer to the manual accompanying your audio / media source device for more
information.

playback
pairing the bluetooth device
To connect your Bluetooth device to the unit, you need to pair the device to the unit.
Pairing needs to be done only once. To set up the Bluetooth device please follow the below
steps.
1. Turn on the unit. The white LED will blink once every second when it is turned on for
the rst time, or when it is in pairing mode, or when it is searching for a Bluetooth
device.
2. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth function and look for “BT Speaker” in the pairing
device list.
3. If prompted, enter the default password, “0000”, otherwise click “OK” to conrm
acceptance of the unit. The white LED will shine steadily.
If you move your media source device out of operational range, the Bluetooth
connection will be lost.
• The operational range between this unit and a Bluetooth device is approximately
10 metres.
• Before you connect a Bluetooth device to this unit, familiarize yourself with the
Bluetooth capabilities of the device.
• Compatibility with all Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed.
• Any obstacle between this unit and a Bluetooth device can reduce the
operational range.
• Keep this unit away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.
When you rst start playback of a track or video in your Bluetooth device, the
unit Control’s LED will blink once every second for a short while, then it will
illuminate steadily.

listening to music from the bluetooth device
If the connected Bluetooth device supports Advanced Audio Distribution Prole (AADP),
you can listen to the music stored on the Bluetooth device.
1. Pair the Bluetooth device with the unit.
2. Access and playback music as normal on your Bluetooth device.
If the unit is connected to other Bluetooth devices, priority will be given to
music being played back using the Bluetooth connection.
re-connecting a lost bluetooth connection
If the Bluetooth connection is lost, follow the below steps to reconnect the unit and the
media source device:
1. Ensure your media source device is in operational range of the unit; also ensure there
are no obstructions.
2. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth connection.
If the unit is disconnected from a Bluetooth device, the unit will automatically
enter pairing mode (white LED on the Power Switch / Volume Control will blink
once every second), even if it is already paired with a Bluetooth device.
cleaning and maintenance
cleaning the Unit
Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the mains socket before cleaning.
• To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
• Do not spray an aerosol at or near the unit.

hints and tips
If you experience problems during the set up of your system, please rst check the
following conditions:
1. Make sure all the connections between the speakers, the unit and the Bluetooth
device are correct.
2. Make sure that the mains power supply is switched on.
3. If connected to a non-standard games console or audio device, please consult the
manual of those devices for connection.
4. Check that your device volume level is sucient.
5. Ensure the device can be used with the unit to playback music.
6. If audio quality is poor after connection, make sure the device is close enough to the
unit, and that there are no obstacles in the way.
7. If the device cannot connect with unit, check the following are correct:
• The device supports Advanced Audio Distribution Prole (AADP).
• The device’s Bluetooth function is turned on.
• The unit is in pairing mode. If it is not, turn the unit o then on again.
• The unit is not connected to another Bluetooth enable device. If it is, turn the unit
o and on and try again.
If any functional abnormality is encountered, unplug the unit from the mains
socket and reconnect it again.

the unit and keep them for future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a
third party make sure to include this manual.
• Check that the voltage marked on the rating
label matches your mains voltage.
Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after
unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you are
in any doubt about it working normally, or if it
is damaged in any way - switch o, withdraw
the mains plug and consult your dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable
surface and should not be subjected to
vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable
surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near the
unit and should be easily accessible.
• This unit is designed for indoor use only.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either
hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat
sources such as radiators or gas/electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other
sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame
on the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or
product damage, do not expose this unit
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No
objects lled with liquids, such as vases,
should be placed on the unit.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause
serious damage. Switch it o at the mains
immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and
consult your dealer.
Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re
hazard due to overheating, ensure that
curtains and other materials do not obstruct
the ventilation vents.
• Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase,
built-in cabinet or in another conned space.
Ensure the unit is well ventilated.
Safety
• Always disconnect the unit from the mains
supply before connecting/disconnecting other
devices or moving the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket during
a lightning storm.
• In the interests of safety and to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption, never leave
the unit switched on while unattended for
long periods of time, e.g. overnight, while on
holiday or while out of the house. Switch it o
and disconnect the mains adapter from the
mains socket.
Mains Adapter
• The mains adapter will continue to draw
electricity from the mains supply when
plugged in the mains socket. In the interests
of safety and to avoid unnecessary energy
consumption, never leave the adaptor
plugged in the mains socket while unattended
for long periods of time. Disconnect the
adaptor from the power supply.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances
which may cause electromagnetic
interference. If you do, it may adversely aect
the operating performance of the unit, and
cause a distorted picture or sound.

Supervision
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the unit and the remote
control.
• Never let anyone especially children push
anything into the holes, slots or any other
openings in the case - this could result in a
fatal electric shock.

Service
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
remove screws. The unit does not contain
any user-serviceable parts. Please leave all
maintenance work to qualied personnel.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may
expose dangerous voltages.
Maintenance
• Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains
socket before cleaning.
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or
abrasive cleaning solutions as these may
damage the unit’s surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.
