Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after
unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you are in
any doubt about it working normally, or if it is
damaged in any way - switch o and consult your
dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable surface
and should not be subjected to vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable
surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot
or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources
such as radiators or gas/electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other
sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame on
the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product
damage, do not expose this unit to rain, moisture,
dripping or splashing. No objects lled with
liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the
unit. Do not operate the unit with wet hands, near
water or other liquid.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause
serious damage. Switch it o immediately.
Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.

Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re hazard
due to overheating, ensure that curtains and other
materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents.
• Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase,
built-in cabinet or in another conned space.
Ensure the unit is well ventilated.
Safety
• In the interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary
energy consumption, never leave the unit
switched on while unattended for long periods of
time, e.g. overnight, while on holiday or while out
of the house. Switch it o.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances which
may cause electromagnetic interference. If you do,
it may adversely aect the operating performance
of the unit, and cause a distorted sound.
Batteries
• Please dispose of batteries correctly by following
the guidance in this manual.
Supervision
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the unit.
• Never let anyone especially children push
anything into the holes, slots or any other
openings in the case - this could result in a fatal
electric shock.

Service
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove
screws. The unit does not contain any user-
serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance
work to qualied personnel.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may expose
dangerous voltages.
Maintenance
• Ensure to unplug the unit from any devide and
switch o before cleaning.
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or abrasive
cleaning solutions as these may damage the unit’s
surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.

some hints and tips to help you resolve any issues.

Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the
packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according
to local regulations.

charging the unit
This Unit has a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery.
• To charge the unit, open the ap then connect
the USB cable to the DC-IN 5V 1A Socket on
the side of the unit and plug into a powered USB
socket e.g. a computer.
• While charging, the battery indicator on the
STANDBY button will light up red.
• When fully charged the indicator will light up
green.
• When the unit is less than 10% battery life, it will
say ‘Battery is low’ every 30 seconds.
• Battery life approx. 10 hours at moderate listening
level.
It takes 4 hours (approx.)
to fully charge the battery.
To Save battery life, please
switch o the unit. Do not
over charge the battery as
it may shorten its life.

Bluetooth® operation
1. Activate Bluetooth® on the device to be connected
to the unit.
2. Press and hold the STANDBY button to switch
the unit on. It will say “Powering on”and the blue
indicator lights will ash quickly. The unit is now in
pairing mode.
3. “iWantit IPBTB16”will appear on the list of
Bluetooth® devices select this. Type in the
password “0000” if requested. It will say “Paired”
once it has connected. The blue indicator will now
light up.
disconnect the Bluetooth®
1. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK button
to disconnect your unit, will say“Ready to pair”
If you are trying to pair your speaker to a mobile device
and your mobile device shows the message ‘Failed to
connect and password is incorrect’, then switch the
unit o, wait 1 minute then switch the unit back on. Try
pairing again.

• To turn on the unit, press and hold the STANDBY
button for 3 seconds. The unit will say “ Powering
ON” and the blue indicator lights will ash.
• To turn o the unit, press and hold the STANDBY
button for 5 seconds. The unit will say “Powering
o”The blue indicator lights will switch o.
pause and resume playback
• In Bluetooth® mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button on the top surface of unit to pause
playback. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK Button
on the top surface of unit to resume playback.
adjusting the volume
• Press the VOLUME DOWN/SKIP or VOLUME UP/
SKIP Button to decrease or increase the volume.
Each button press will increase or decrease the
volume one step at a time.
You can only adjust the volume level from the unit or
the Auxillary device independently, so you may need to
adjust both.
skip the track
• Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN/SKIP or
VOLUME UP/ SKIP Button to skip the next/
previous track.
Your unit will automatically switch o if not paired and
left idle for 5 minutes.

receiving and ending calls
When there is an incoming call, the unit will pause the
playback and ring to alert.
• To answer a call, press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button.
• To end a call, press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button again.
• To reject a call, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/
TALK Button. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
again to resume playback.
calling back the last number dialled
You can call back the last number that you dialled on
your phone.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK twice. Your phone
will now call the last number that you answered.

AUX IN operation
Use a 3.5mm AUX IN cable (not included) to connect
your audio device through the AUX IN socket at the
rear of the unit.
Use the controls on your auxiliary device to play music.
You can only adjust the volume level from the unit or
the Auxillary device independently, so you may need
to adjust both.
Ensure to unplug the unit from the USB socket of a
computer or any external devices before cleaning.

cleaning the unit
• To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly
moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol,
ammonia or abrasives.
• Do not spray aerosol at or near the unit.

If a problem does occur, it may often be due to
something very minor. The following table contains
various tips.

No Power • Make sure that the unit is fully
charged.
No
response in
AUX mode
• Ensure that the unit is fully
charged.
• Ensure that all the required cables
are securely connected.
• Ensure that the unit is switched on.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button to resume sound if the unit
is muted.
• Check the volume level of the unit
and the Bluetooth®/Aux device.
• While answering a call with the
unit via Bluetooth® connection,
end the call to resume playback in
AUX IN mode.
Bluetooth
Can’t
connect
• Ensure that the Bluetooth®
function is activated on your
Bluetooth® device.
• The unit and Bluetooth® device are
to far apart they must be within
10m of each other.
• Ensure that another Bluetooth®
device is not connected with
the unit. If so, disconnect the
Bluetooth® device with the unit.
No Sound • Ensure that the unit is switch on.
• You may need to adjust the
volume level on the unit and your
Bluetooth®/Aux device.
