Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after
unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you are in
any doubt about it working normally, or if it is
damaged in any way - switch o, withdraw the
mains plug and consult your dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable surface
and should not be subjected to vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable
surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
• This unit is designed for indoor use only.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot
or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources
such as radiators or gas/electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other
sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame on
the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product
damage, do not expose this unit to rain, moisture,
dripping or splashing. No objects lled with
liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the
unit.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause
serious damage. Switch it o at the mains
immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and
consult your dealer.
Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re hazard

due to overheating, ensure that curtains and other
materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents.
• Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase,
built-in cabinet or in another conned space.
Ensure the unit is well ventilated.
Safety
• Always disconnect the unit from the power supply
before connecting/disconnecting other devices or
moving the unit.
• In the interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary
energy consumption, never leave the unit
switched on while unattended for long periods of
time, e.g. overnight, while on holiday or while out
of the house. Switch it o and disconnect the unit
from the power supply.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances which
may cause electromagnetic interference. If you do,
it may adversely aect the operating performance
of the unit, and cause a distorted picture or sound.
Batteries
• Batteries used in the unit are easily swallowed by
young children and this is dangerous.
• Keep loose batteries away from young children
and make sure that the battery holder tray is
secure in the unit. Seek medical advice if you
believe a cell has been swallowed.
• Please dispose of batteries correctly by following
the guidance in this manual.
Supervision
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the unit and the remote control.
• Never let anyone especially children push
anything into the holes, slots or any other
openings in the case - this could result in a fatal
electric shock.

Service
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove
screws. The unit does not contain any user-
serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance
work to qualied personnel.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may expose
dangerous voltages.
Maintenance
• Ensure to unplug the unit from the power supply
before cleaning.
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or abrasive
cleaning solutions as these may damage the unit’s
surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.

mains power
This Unit has a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery.
• To charge the unit, connect the USB cable to the
DC-IN 5V 1A Socket on the rear of the unit and
plug into a USB socket of a computer which is
turned on.
• While charging, the battery indicator in front of
the unit will light up red.
• When unit fully charge , the battery indicator will
turn o.
• When the unit is less than 10% battery life, it will
play a 4-beep tone every 30 seconds.
• Battery life approx. 8 hours at moderate listening
level.

It takes 11 hours (approx.) to fully charge the battery.
There is no standby mode. To Save battery life, please
switch o the unit. Do not over charge the battery as it
may shorten its life.

general operation
switching on / o the unit
• To turn on the unit, switch the POWER ON/OFF
switch at the rear of the unit to the ON position.
The Bluetooth Indicator will ash and it will play a
2-beep tone.
• To turn o the unit, switch the POWER ON/OFF
switch at the rear of the unit to the OFF position.
The Bluetooth Indicator will disappear.
pause and resume playback
• In Bluetooth mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button on the top surface of unit to pause
playback. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK Button
on the top surface of unit to resume playback.
receiving and ending calls
When there is an incoming call, the unit will pause the
playback and ring to alert.
• To answer a call, press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button.
• To end a call, press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button again.
USB charging
Before charging your device through DC-OUT 5V
1A Socket, unplug the device connected with the
DC-IN 5V 1A Socket (if any). Make sure that the
unit is switched on. Connect your USB device (e.g.
smartphone) with a USB cable (not included) to the
DC-OUT 5V 1A Socket to charge your USB device.
The maximum charging voltage and current of the unit
provided is 5V/1000mA, any device with charging current
requirement more than 1000mA will not be supported.
Please check your device charging requirement before
connecting your device to the unit.

• To reject a call, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/
TALK Button. The unit will resume music
playback (if any).
While in a call:
• To answer a second incoming call, press and
hold the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK Button. After
the second incoming call is received, press and
hold the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK Button to toggle
between calls.
adjusting the volume
• Press the SKIP FORWARD/VOL+ or SKIP BACK/
VOL– Button on the top surface of unit to
increase/decrease the volume.
skip the track
• Press and hold the SKIP FORWARD/VOL+ or SKIP
BACK/VOL– Button to skip the next/previous
track.

Bluetooth® operation
1. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be connected
and select search mode. The Bluetooth Indicator
will blink rapidly during in paring mode.
2. “IBT(N)(B)14”will appear on the list of Bluetooth
devices. Type in the password “0000” if requested.
3. There will be a beep sound once the connection is
complete. The Bluetooth indicator will turn o.
4. Disconnect the Bluetooth device before pairing
with another device. After disconnection, you will
hear 4 beeps. The Bluetooth indicator will ash.
The unit can remember up to 4 paired devices in its
memory and will try to connect with most recent.
If you are trying to pair your speaker to a mobile device
and your mobile device shows the message ‘Failed to
connect and password is incorrect’, then switch the
unit o at POWER ON/OFF switch to o position, wait
1 minute then switch the unit back on. Try pairing again
using Bluetooth or NFC mode.

NFC operation
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a one touch way of
pairing your NFC device via Bluetooth to your speaker.
1. To enable NFC function, connect your device with
the unit via Bluetooth.
2. Place the NFC sensor area on the device close to
the unit’s NFC sensor area (it will work best within
10 mm).
3. If the unit is already connect to the Bluetooth
device, once can take over the connection by NFC
touch.

If you are trying to pair your speaker to a mobile device

your audio device through the AUX IN socket at the
rear of the unit.

cleaning the unit
In AUX IN mode, you may still control your audio device
for all operations.
Ensure to unplug the unit from the USB socket
of a computer or any external devices before
cleaning.
• To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly
moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol,
ammonia or abrasives.
• Do not spray aerosol at or near the radio.

If a problem does occur, it may often be due to
something very minor. The following table contains
various tips.

• Ensure that the unit is fully
charged or connected with a
power source.
• Ensure that all the required cables
are securely connected.
• Ensure that the unit is switched on.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TALK
Button to resume sound if the unit
is muted.
• Check the volume level of the unit.
• Check the sound input source.
• While answering a call with the
unit via Bluetooth connection, end
the call to resume playback in AUX
IN mode.
Bluetooth
Can’t
connect
• Ensure that the Bluetooth function
is activated on your Bluetooth
device.
• The unit has a Bluetooth function
that can receive a signal within 10
metres. Keep a distance within 10
metres between the unit and your
Bluetooth device.
• Ensure that another Bluetooth
device is not connected with
the unit. If so, disconnect the
Bluetooth device with the unit.
