• Carefully u pack the coffee maker a d remove all
packagi g materials.
• Before maki g coffee i your coffee maker,
thoroughly clea the carafe, carafe lid a d
perma e t filter with warm, soapy water. Ri se a d
dry. Do ot use harsh or abrasive clea ers.
• You may wipe the warmi g plate with a clea
damp cloth. However, do ot immerse the coffee
maker i water or other liquid.
• Prior to brewi g your first pot of coffee, operate
coffee maker o ce or twice with water but without
grou d coffee. This will remove a y dust that may
have settled i side the coffee maker (which might
affect the flavor of coffee).
IMPORTANT: Use o ly cold water for best results.
Preparing the Coffee Maker for Brewing Coffee
• Place your coffee maker o a flat a d stable
surface.
• Plug the u it to the outlet.
• Fill with water the reservoir, close the lid a d place
the glass carafe o the warmi g plate.
NOTE: The amou t of brewed coffee after the
brewi g process will always be slightly less tha the
amou t of water placed i to the coffee maker, si ce
some water is absorbed by the coffee grou d or
evaporates. Add a little extra water at the begi i g
so that you e d up with the exact umber of cups
desired.
• Swi g the filter basket door a d place the
perma e t filter i the filter basket. Fill the filter with
the required amou t of coffee.
• Use o e coffee measure of grou d for each cup of
coffee. The amou t of coffee may be adjusted to
suit your particular taste by decreasi g or i creasi g
the amou t of coffee used.
NOTE: Be sure to use coffee grou ds prepared
specifically for automatic drip coffee makers.
• The lid of the glass carafe must be placed properly
o the carafe duri g the brewi g process.
• Press the power butto , the light will go o
i dicati g that the coffee maker has begu the
brewi g cycle.

mode (the warm plate will keep the brewed coffee

ΕΠΙΣΗΜΑΝΣΗ: Πριν καθαρίσετε την συσκευή,
σιγουρευτείτε ότι το καλώδιο ρεύματος δεν βρίσκεται
στην πρίζα και ότι η θερμαινόμενη πλάκα έχει
κρυώσει. Για τη δική σας προστασία μη βυθίζετε το
σώμα της συσκευής ή το καλώδιο ρεύματος σε νερό
ή οποιοδήποτε άλλο υγρό, υπάρχει κίνδυνος
ηλεκτροπληξίας.
• Μπορείτε να καθαρίσετε εξωτερικά τη συσκευή σας
σκουπίζοντάς την με ένα μαλακό, νωπό πανί.
• Η κανάτα και το καπάκι της κανάτας μπορούν να
καθαριστούν με ζεστό νερό και απορρυπαντικό
πιάτων ή στο πλυντήριο πιάτων (στο επάνω
καλάθι). Μην τοποθετείτε οποιοδήποτε άλλο μέρος
της συσκευής στο πλυντήριο πιάτων.
• Για να καθαρίσετε το μόνιμο φίλτρο, πετάξτε τυχών
υπολείμματα καφέ και πλύνετε το φίλτρο κάτω από
τρεχούμενο νερό.
• Μην καθαρίζετε το εσωτερικό του ρεζερβουάρ με
πανί καθώς υπάρχει κίνδυνος να αφήσει
υπολείμματα από τις ίνες υφάσματος που θα
βουλώσουν την καφετιέρα.• Για τους επίμονους
λεκέδες, χρησιμοποιείστε ένα συνθετικό σφουγγάρι
με ελαφρύ απορρυπαντικό πιάτων. Μη
χρησιμοποιείτε σύρμα και σκληρά καθαριστικά.
• Ιζήματα ασβεστίου (άλατα) μπορεί να
συσσωρευτούν στην καφετιέρα ως αποτέλεσμα των
ανόργανων στοιχείων που περιέχονται συνήθως στο
νερό της βρύσης. Κάτι τέτοιο είναι απολύτως
φυσιολογικό και μπορεί να έχει ως συνέπεια την
επιβράδυνση του χρόνου προετοιμασίας του καφέ.
Αυτό μπορεί να αποφευχθεί με τη συχνή
αφαλάτωση της καφετιέρας σας.
• Για να καθαρίσετε την καφετιέρα σας από τα
ιζήματα ασβεστίου (άλατα), γεμίστε την κανάτα με
κρύο νερό και δύο κουταλιές της σούπας λευκό ξύδι.
Ρίξτε αυτό το διάλυμα στο ρεζερβουάρ νερού και
κλείστε το καπάκι. Τοποθετείστε την κανάτα στην
θερμαινόμενη πλάκα και λειτουργείστε την
καφετιέρα χωρίς καφέ. Όταν ολοκληρωθεί η
διαδικασία αυτή, αδειάστε την κανάτα και ξεπλύνετε
με κρύο νερό. Γεμίστε και πάλι το ρεζερβουάρ με
κρύο νερό και αφήστε να ολοκληρωθεί άλλος ένας
κύκλος λειτουργίας, προκειμένου να καθαριστούν τα
εσωτερικά μέρη της συσκευής από τυχόν
υπολείμματα ξυδιού. Επαναλάβετε εάν είναι
απαραίτητο.
