• Δε συνιστάται το ξαναζέσταμα του καφέ. Ο καφές
έχει το μέγιστο δυνατό άρωμά του, αμέσως μετά την
παρασκευή του.
• Μικρές κηλίδες λαδιού στην επιφάνεια του
φιλτραρισμένου καφέ οφείλονται στην εξαγωγή
λαδιού από τους κόκκους του καφέ. Η λιπαρότητα
μπορεί επίσης να οφείλεται στον βαριά
καβουρδισμένο καφέ.

Before First Use
• Wash the parts of the applia ce. See “Care a d
clea i g”.
• Ru two full ta ks of water (without coffee) through
the coffee maker to clea it out. See “Use your
coffee maker”.
Use
1. Lift the lid (1) usi g the tab at the fro t of the
coffee maker.
2. Fill the water ta k (3) with the desired amou t of
water. Do ot fill above the MAX level.
• Use cold water. We recomme d usi g filtered
water as it reduces lime scale a d prolo gs the life
of your coffee maker. Never use ware or sparkli g
water.
• E sure the filter holder (4) is positio ed correctly.
3. Fit either the perma e t filter (5) supplied or a
paper filter i to the filter holder (4).
4. Add the coffee usi g the spoo (10) supplied
(approximately 1 level spoo (7gr.) per cup to taste).
5. Close the lid (1) a d put the carafe (7) o the
hotplate.
6. Plug i a d press the power switch ON/OFF (8).
7. Remove the carafe from the heati g plate at least
o e mi ute after the preparatio of coffee is
completed. Whe the carafe is empty, tur off a d
u plug the applia ce.
8. Whe brewi g is fi ished, the coffee maker will
tur off automatically i 40 mi utes.
Note: The amount of brewed coffee after the
brewing process will always be slightly less
than the amount of water placed into the coffee
maker, since some water is absorbed by the
grinding process.

Tips for a great-tasting coffee
• A clea coffee maker is esse tial for maki g great-
tasti g coffee. Regularly clea the coffee maker as
specified i the “Care a d clea i g” sectio .
• Always use fresh, cold water i the coffee maker.
• Well gri ded coffee e sures better filtratio ,
i te se aroma a d rich flavor. If the coffee is ot
gri ded well e ough, slightly put more required
amou t of coffee per cup to e sure the same taste
performa ce.
• Keep coffee i a cool a d dry place. Whe you
ope the package of coffee, keep tightly closed i
refrigerator to keep the fresh ess.
• For optimal result, buy whole coffee bea s a d
gri d them just before the filteri g process.
• Do ot use the same coffee for the seco d time,
as this would destroy its aroma.
• It is ot recomme ded to reheatcoffee. Coffee has
the maximum aroma, immediately after preparatio .
• Small oil stai s o the surface of the filtered coffee
are due to the extractio of oil from the coffee
bea s. The oil may also be due to heavy roast
coffee.
Αφαίρεση Αλάτων/Descaling
• Προμηθευτείτε το κατάλληλο καθαριστικό αλάτων
από οποιοδήποτε σούπερ μάρκετ.
• Για την αφαλάτωση παρακαλούμε ακολουθήστε τις
οδηγίες που αναγράφονται στη συσκευασία του
καθαριστικού αλάτων.
• Μετά την αφαίρεση των αλάτων, γεμίστε
τουλάχιστον τρεις φορές το δοχείο νερού και θέστε
την καφετιέρα σε λειτουργία (χωρίς καφέ) για να την
καθαρίσετε.
