1 Introducción
Los equipos de ultrasonidos se utilizan a menudo en:
Laboratorios en general para:
- aceleración de reacciones químicas
- desgasicación de líquidos
- disrupción de células
- limpieza de tamices, pipetas, micropipetas, cubetas, viscosímetros
- descomposición de substancias radioactivas
Odontología para:
- limpieza de prótesis e instrumentos.
Óptica: para limpieza de monturas, cristales, lentes de contacto.
Medicina: para limpieza de instrumentos en general, pinzas, sondas, escalpelos.
Joyería y relojería: para limpieza de todo tipo de relojes, alhajas.
Industria: para limpieza de componentes electrónicos, circuitos impresos, semicon-
ductores, o inyectores de gasolina, para tamices y ltros.
2 Principio de Funcionamiento
La limpieza por ultrasonidos utiliza ondas sonoras de alta frecuencia modulada (40
KHz) que producen millones de burbujas microscópicas de baja presión con una
gran capacidad de penetración, eliminando las impurezas, contaminantes y suciedad
de las piezas y rincones.

5 Advertencias
1. Leer este manual antes de utilizar el equipo.
2. No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.
3. No utilizar el baño con líquidos inamables o que sean susceptibles de formar
mezclas o vapores explosivos.
4. Asegúrese de utilizar una tapa cuando utilice soluciones volátiles.
5. No calentar el agua a más de 80ºC.
6. No poner en marcha el baño sin agua o líquido limpiador.
7. Este equipo es para uso profesional en un laboratorio.

6 Funcionamiento
1. Enchufe la conexión de red a una toma con conexión a tierra.
2. Llene la cubeta con agua, como mínimo hasta 3/4 partes de su capacidad.
Utilizar preferentemente agua desmineralizada.
Utilizar un detergente adecuado al material a limpiar.
3. Accione el interruptor principal.
4. Seleccione la temperatura de trabajo adecuada al material a limpiar.
5. Coloque las piezas a lavar en el cestillo y ajuste el tiempo de limpieza. Normalmente
el tiempo puede ajustarse entre 3 y 30 minutos, y puede aumentarse para utensilios
que sean difíciles de limpiar.
6. Coloque los artículos más grandes en la solución de limpieza mediante un gancho,
para incrementar el efecto de limpieza, y aumentando la calidad.
7. No deje la cubeta llena de líquido durante un largo periodo de tiempo.
8. Vacíe la solución de limpieza y limpie la cubeta del baño.
7 Selección de Temperatura y Tiempo
1. Seleccione el tiempo de limpieza del ultrasonido (máx: 99 minutos) mediante las
teclas para incrementar o reducir el tiempo, hasta que lo ajuste al tiempo de limpieza
necesario.
2. Ajuste la temperatura (0-80ºC) mediante las teclas para incrementar o reducir la
temperatura, hasta que ajuste la necesaria para la solución de limpieza.
(Nota: el baño sólo calienta, no tiene capacidad para enfriar)
8 Servicio Técnico y Mantenimiento
Este equipo sólo debe ser reparado por personal de mantenimiento debidamente
autorizado por J.P. Selecta, s.a.u.
Periódicamente:
1. Compruebe visualmente si hay fugas de agua o humedades.
2. Compruebe visualmente el estado del cable de conexión a la red.
3. Compruebe visualmente si el ventilador de la parte trasera acumula demasiado
polvo. Limpielo con un cepillo o aspiradora.
9 Garantía
Este producto tiene una garantía de un año. La garantía no cubre los daños causados
por un uso indebido o por causas ajenas a J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Cualquier manipulación del aparato por personal no autorizado por J.P. SELECTA,
s.a.u. anula automáticamente los benecios de la garantía.
Aviso a los clientes:
El producto se compone de varios componentes y diversos materiales que deben
reciclarse o, en su defecto, depositarse en los sitios correspondientes de eliminación
de escombros cuando la vida del producto se ha completado o cuando, de lo con-
trario, es necesario desecharlo. Para ello, el usuario nal que adquiere el producto
debe conocer la normativa vigente de cada municipio y / o localidad en función de
los residuos eléctricos y electrónicos. El usuario que adquiere este producto debe
conocer y ser responsable de los posibles efectos de los componentes sobre el medio
ambiente y la salud humana como resultado de la presencia de sustancias peligrosas.
Nunca coloque el producto en un contenedor convencional de alcance ciudadano si
es un desmantelamiento previo y conocimiento de los componentes que incorpora.
Si no conoce el procedimiento a seguir, consulte con el consejo de la ciudad para
obtener más información.

1 Introduction
Ultrasonic cleaning baths are usually used in:
General laboratory for:
- chemical reactions acceleration
- liquids degassing
- cell disruption
- sieves cleaning, pipettes, micro-pipettes, cuvettes, viscosimeters
- decomposition of radioactive substances.
Odontology for:
- prosthesis and instruments cleaning.
Optics: for frames, lenses and contact lenses cleaning.
Medicine: for instruments in general cleaning, forceps, probes, scalpels.
Jewellery and watch making: for any kind of watches and jewels cleaning.
Industry: for all electronic components cleaning, printed circuits board, semicon-
ductors, petrol injectors, sieves and lters.
2 Working Principle
Ultrasonic cleaning consists of the use of high frequency sound waves (40 KHz) which
produces millions of low pressure microscopical bubbles with high penetration, eli-
minating impurities, polluting agents and dirt from the parts or material which must
be cleaned.

5 Warnings
1. Read carefully this manual before using the machine.
2. The grounding device must be connected before using the equipment.
3. Do not use the bath with ammable liquids or those that could give off vapours
capable of making explosive mixtures.
4. Take care of using a cover when using volatile solutions.
5. Don’t let the temperature of cleaning solution reach 80ºC.
6. Never start the machine when there’s neither water nor cleaning solution.
7. This appliance is intended for professional use in the laboratory.

6 Operation
1. Power socked must be provided with protective ground terminal.
2. Fill bath with water, at least 3/4 full.
Use deminaralized water.
Use a suitable detergent according to the material to be cleaned.
3. Switch the equipment on.
4. Set the temperature, according to the cleaning requirements.
5. Place articles to be washed into the basket and set the cleaning time. Normally,
time can be set between 3 and 30 minutes, and can be prolonged for tools which are
especially difcult to clean.
6. For heavy articles, suspend them through a hanger in the cleaning solution to
increase the cleaning effect and the cleaning quality.
7. If you don’t use the equipment for a long period of time, do not leave the tank
full of liquid.
8. Empty the cleaning solution and clean the bath tank.
7 Temperature and Time Selection
1. Set the ultrasonic cleaning time to max. 99 minutes. Increase or reduce the time
by means of the keys till you set the needed cleaning time.
2. Adjust the temperature (0-80ºC). Increase or reduce the temperature by means
of the keys until you set the needed temperature for the cleaning solution.
(Note: the bath only heats, it is not able to cool)
8 Service and Maintenance
This equipment should only be manipulated by authorized maintenance personnel.
A periodical checking should be done to the equipment.
1. Visually check if there is water leakage or dampness.
2. Visually check if the power connection cable is in good condition.
3. Visually check if the cooling rear fan accumulates dust on it. Clean with a brush
or with a vacuum cleaner.
9 Warranty
This product is guaranteed for one year since the purchasing date. The guarantee
does not cover damage caused by incorrect use or causes beyond the control of J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u.
Any manipulation of the equipment by unauthorized personnel by J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
automatically cancels the guarantee.
Notice to customers:
The product is made up of various components and various materials that must be
recycled or, failing that, deposited in the corresponding debris removal sites when the
product’s life has been completed or when otherwise it is necessary to dispose of it.
To do this, the end user who acquires the product must know the current regulations
of each municipality and / or locality based on the waste electrical and electronic

ATENCIÓN:
NO PONER EN MARCHA EL BAÑO CON LA CUBETA SIN AGUA.
Al accionar el interruptor principal (ON/OFF), la calefacción de la cubeta se pone en marcha.
La calefacción de la cubeta es independiente de la tecla «START/STOP»
y se activa directamente con el interruptor principal.
Si se activa la calefacción sin agua en la cubeta, puede dañar el equipo.
ATTENTION:
DO NOT START UP THE BATH WITHOUT WATER ON THE TANK.
When switching on the main switch («ON/OFF»), the heater will be activated.
The tank heater is independent of the «START/STOP» key and it can be switched on directly by the main switch.
If heater is activated without water on the bath tank, the equipment could be damaged.
