JABO-2AG/3CG Auto Bait Boat/Fish Finder

JABO3CG is the 3rd generation product of JABO series of intelligent bait boats. The
product adopts GPS positioning and electronic compass navigation. It can store 32
target bait positions, and can automatically (manually) set the starting position.It is a
bait/fish finding robot that can auto move from starts point,auto navigate to nesting
positions,auto release bait(hooks,etc),then accurately return to start point.Meanwhile a
highly sensitive fish finder and a lure light are already installed at bottom which can
detect water depth,terrain,temperature,fish size and attract fish at night.
1. It has the characteristics of precise positioning and precise navigation. For
positioning, the navigation error radius is 0-1 meters.
2. Directional and fixed-distance automatic navigation, and the navigation distance
which ranges from 20 meters to 500 meters (adjustment interval of 20 meters) can be
preset on the remote control to realize automatic navigation at a distance of 300M.

3. Store up to 32 target bait positions. After the target bait positions are determined
for the first time, they can be utilized again on the same water areas,or in a different
fishing position within a radius of 1000 meters. This not only brings more chances of
locating larger fish,but also saving your baits and increase the fun of fishing.
Especially for night fishing, when ordinary bait boats cannot achieve accurate baiting
(hook releasing), but JABO3CG can be used to accurately target bait positions (hook
release positions) even in the dark night.
4. The working frequency of JABO3CG is 2.4GHz, 250 frequency points can be set.
By setting up different frequency points, multiple bait boats can be used at the same
time without interfering with each other in the same lake/river.
5. While using JABO3CG the start position can be set manually (automatically).
After the start position is successfully set, the bait boat can return by itself safely
every time it sets off without worrying to get lost. If the user does not manually set the
start position, JABO3CG can also automatically set the start position. Since it takes
time to automatically to receive GPS satellite signals, the start position may be a
slightly further. In order to make it accurate,wait only 1-2 mins for it to fully set up.
6. Every time you turn on power, the bait boat will automatically start to establish
contact with the navigation satellite. It usually takes 3 minutes to successfully
establish a contact.
7. The unique design of the JABO3CG bait boat's automatic lifting bait bin has the
advantage that the feeding positions can be seen visually, and the bait bin is
automatically flip,recover like an unloading truck and travels more smoothly. These
characteristics become more obvious after the realization of automatic navigation.
8. The design of the built-in propeller overcomes the defect that the external
propeller is easy to be entangled by weeds. With a 4-leaf propeller system,the motor is
powerful with much loads but also quiet in water so as not to disturb the fish.

9. In order to be suitable for dawn or sunset/night fishing, the bait boat is equipped
with two different colors of tail lights. At night, the fisherman can also identify the
sailing direction of the boat according to the different colors of the indicator lights. In
order to help fishing at night, JABO3CG is equipped with a big night light in front
that can be remotely switched on and off anytime.
10.JABO3CG has the functions of detecting fish, measuring the depth of water.

11.JABO3CG is not suitable for use in the beaches, rapid flowing waters) and

It is very important to set the GPS start point. You need to
determine the GPS start position every time you use it. If not set,
the bait boat will not be able to return unless you manually
control it. Select "Yes" in this step. After the GPS start position is
established, a "*" icon will appear on the LCD screen, which
represents the starting position.
Please be noted that it takes 2-3 minutes for the boat’s receiver to establish a
connection with the satellite system. If the power-on time is too short, the connection
with the GPS has not been established. And after selecting "Yes", no "*" appears on
the LCD screen , it means that the starting position has not been established, you need
to wait for 2-5 minutes, and then select "Yes" until the starting position is established.
If it is established for a long time, you can press the N key to enter the navigation
setting page and select "Set the start": press the "S" key to complete the setting.

In the second row,E means longitude,N means latitude.The "*" on the first digit on the
left indicates that the navigation module has started to work.
Before fully establishing contact with the navigation satellite, the latitude and

longitude coordinates display a series of "X". At this time, the "X" is meaningless.
After the boat has established a connection with the satellite, the displayed value of
the latitude and longitude is the current satellite positioning of the boat.
After setting the start position, enter the operation page, start operating.

①A/H key: automatic/manual conversion key. When the boat is in automatic
navigation, manual operation is invalid. After pressing the A/H key, the following
options appear:
At this time, press the "S" key to continue the automatic navigation, if you press "No",
the automatic navigation function will exit and the manual function will be restored.
②M key: Screen mode conversion. The remote control has 2 screen modes:
1 Navigation mode, displaying the coordinates of the bait
boat, driving status, power of the remote control, power of
the boat’s battery, and the distance to the target point and
starting point.
2 Fish-finding working mode: display the signal strength,
the boat’s running status, the power of the remote control,
the power of the boat’s battery, and the water depth, water
temperature, and fish symbol
③N key: Navigation function selection key. Press the N key, and there will be 5
navigation sub options:
Return: Directly press the "S" key to select “return”, at this time the boat starts to
return, and stops after returning to the starting position.
Save as target point: After pressing the ▼ key, select save to target point, you can
select numbers 1-16, and then press the set key "S", if the selected number is 01, the
current boat position will be saved as target point 01.

Navigate to the target point: the premise of applying this function is that at least one
target point has been set, press the ▼ key to enter the navigation to the target point,
and then press the "S" key: press the set key "S" to enter the target point selection:
you can select a number 1-16, press the setting key S again, if the selected number is
01, the target point of this navigation is the No. 1 target point.
Now the "Feeding" option page appears, the default option is "Yes"
After pressing "S" again, enter the "Return”,the default option is "Yes"
In this way, the bait boat completes the one-key navigation of navigating to the target
point "01"—feeding—returning to the starting position.
Set the starting point: If the starting point is not set after the power is turned on, or the
starting point needs to be set for other reasons, you can use this item to reset the
starting point.
Forward: This is the new directional fixed-range automatic navigation function of
JABO3CG nesting boat. Users can choose 20-300m directional fixed-range
navigation in this option to replace the original need to manually set the nesting point
by remote control, which realizes the true meaning Automatic navigation.

Press “S” comes up
Press ◄ or ► to set the forward distance, from 20 meters (20 meters apart) to 300
meters, this distance is the distance of the nest boat. After setting the forward distance,
press the S key to enter:

Note: At this time, you need to correct the course of the boat manually. After pressing
the “S” button, let go for about 5 seconds, and the boat will begin to move forward.
After the baiting, the boat begins to return. The position where this tipping bucket is
turned over is the set as nesting point.
When setting the forward distance, first predict the required distance. Do not set the
distance to the maximum at the beginning, so as to prevent the bait boat from running
aground to the opposite shore and unable to return.
Before using the directional fixed-distance navigation function, please try it out
several times and learn the operation steps before actually using it to avoid
mis-operation.
3How to use the remote control handle:
The left-hand operating handle of the remote control operates the ship’s forward,
backward, left and right turn functions. The right handle operates the ship’s front light,
bottom light, and "F" key to complete the release of the two bait bins

Operation Guide.
1. Installation of the lithium battery in the boat: The lithium battery of the nesting boat
has been installed in the boat when it leaves the factory, when the user receives
the boat you only need to open the hatch cover (don’t pull out the plugs that have
been inserted), and connect the battery plug to the power socket inside the boat. When
connecting, pay special attention to the polarity of the battery not to be reversed or
reversed. Otherwise it will burn out the receiver and motor drive board. The correct
connection method is to insert the red wire of the plug to the red wire of the socket,
and the black wire to the black wire. After the plug is connected, cover the cabin. The
remote control battery is rechargeable with a USB connector so no need batteries.
2. Function test: Before launching the nest boat, perform a function test.
Power on: Put the nesting boat in a stable place, then turn on the power switch on
the hatch cover, the two tail lights start to flash, indicating that the receiver is working
normally.
Turn on the power switch of the remote control, the tail light changes from flashing
to off, the remote control and the receiver are successfully coded. In order to use
multiple boats at the same water at the same time, an address code (serial number) is
set in the remote control circuit. The serial number of the remote control at the factory
defaults to "000". Each time the nesting boat is turned on, the receiver will first
receive the address code (serial number) of the remote control. Once the code is
completed, as long as the boat’s power switch is not turned off, the boat will receive
the control command of the remote control that is coded with it. In this way, multiple
boats can be operated on the same locations without affecting each other. It should be
noted that every time the nest boat turns on the power switch, there will be a code
matching process.
Forward: Push the handle of the remote control forward, and the two motors of the
nest boat start to rotate. The left and right direction lights are always on. At this time,
the nesting boat is in a forward state.
Turn left; turn right: Push the handle of the remote control to the left or right, and
the nest boat will make a left turn (the right motor rotates forward, the left motor
reverses, and the left direction light flashes), then turns right (left The side motor

rotates forward, the right motor reverses, and the right direction light flashes).
Retreat: Pull back the handle of the remote control, the two motors rotate in
opposite directions, the left and right direction lights flash, and the nest boat retreats at
this time.
3. Pay attention to the following points when operating the bait bin:
The bait bin of the JABO3CG nesting boat is driven by the motor gear box. Don't try
to lift the bait bin by hand. This will damage the mechanical structure of the bait bin.
It is recommended that the user apply some lubricating oil to the screw when the new
boat is launched, which will greatly help improve the performance of the tipping
bucket and extend the life of the screw.
Fish lure light function: Press the fish lure light button on the remote control to turn
on the lure light on the bottom of the boat, and press it again to turn off. The fish trap
status indicator on the LCD display can display the current fish trap status.
Distance test: When using the nest boat for the first time, you need to test the
actual remote control distance at the water's edge to make sure you know it well. If
two or more people are fishing together, one person can hold the remote control while
walking and press the forward button and the stop button alternately, while the other
person observes whether the propeller of the boat is working normally. The remote
control distance is generally about 300 meters. If it is in an urban area or beside a
highway, the remote control distance may be greatly affected. (If you are alone, you
can put the nest boat into the water, let the boat drive along the shore, and then take a
walk to estimate the actual remote control distance).
4. Water test: After the ground test, put the nesting boat into the water for test.
Sonar detection function: This function can only operate correctly in open natural
waters. In the air or in the bathtub; in the swimming pool, an incorrect detection result
will be obtained. The sonar sensitivity is set to 50% when leaving the factory, which is
suitable for use in waters with a depth of 2-10 meters. If the water depth is deep, the
sonar sensitivity should be adjusted higher. . (Sensitivity adjustment range 1-99%)
Yaw adjustment: Since the nest boat uses dual motors to drive, the rotation speed of
the two motors and the transmission error of the mechanical drive shaft system cannot
be completely consistent, and yaw may occur during use. For this yaw, you can adjust
it by pressing the yaw adjustment menu of the remote control to make adjustments. .
It should be noted that the electronic yaw adjustment function here is designed to
correct the slight yaw phenomenon caused by the discreteness of the power system,
and is not suitable for adjusting the serious yaw phenomenon caused by mechanical
failure. The latter must be repaired by checking the mechanical power system.
5. The use and precautions of the charger:
The JABO lithium battery series nest boat is equipped with a lithium battery charging

management circuit in the boat, please pay special attention to the power adapter
provided by the original factory for charging. Otherwise, there are unpredictable
safety risks! The output of the adapter is DC 5V /1(2)A. Remove the round
waterproof cap on the upper part of the cabin, and the power switch of the docking
boat is in the off state, and insert the plug of the adapter into the charging seat on the
lid of the docking cabin. The indicator light next to it shows red, which means it is
charging. When the battery is full, the indicator light turns green. When the plug is
pulled out, the charging indicator light goes out. The charging time for a 10A battery
is about 10-12 hours. After the battery is fully charged, the boat's endurance time is
about 1.5-2 hours. The 20A battery charging time is about 20 hours. After the battery
is fully charged, the boat will last about 3-4 hours
Note: When the power battery is not connected to the circuit and connected to the
charger, the charging indicator will be displayed as green in full state.
When the boat's battery is low, please drive the boat back to the shore within 10
minutes and charge it in time. Otherwise, the fishing boat may lose control due to low
battery voltage.

The remote control is equipped with a lithium battery when it leaves the factory.
When the remote control is low in power, you can use the charging cable provided
with the boat to plug it into the mobile phone charger to charge the remote control.
The charging port of the remote control is on the back, and the general charging time
is 1.5-2 hours.
When charging, the horizontal bar on the remote control screen starts to scroll, and the
3 horizontal bars no longer scroll when it is full, and the display is full.
Precautions:
1. Before using, the lithium battery in the nesting boat must be charged to ensure that the battery is
fully charged.
2. The remote control must also be fully charged.
4. When the battery voltage of the nest boat is too low, the two indicator lights on the boat will

flash at the same time, indicating that the battery should be charged at this time, and the battery
indicator on the remote control will also indicate that the battery is reduced.
Special note: After each use, the boat’s power switch should be turned off and the battery plug
should be unplugged to prevent the battery from over-discharge damage due to long-term slow
discharge.
5. The JABO-3 series remote control nest boat is suitable for use in reservoirs, lakes, and ponds. It
cannot be used on flowing water to avoid being washed away by currents. Not suitable for use on
water with wind and waves. Cannot be used in sea water.
6. If during the fishing moratorium, keep the inside of the nesting hull dry, unplug the battery, and
charge the power battery every 2-3 months. The lithium battery is in the best storage state at
70%-80%.
7. Please lock the cover press buckle before use. Put on the switch waterproof cap.
8. The weight of bait shall not be greater than 1.5kg.
9. It is forbidden to forcibly lift the bait bin with external force. Otherwise, it is extremely easy to
damage the drive mechanism of the bait bin.
10. What needs special attention is: if the power switch of the remote control is turned off first,
and the boat has left the surface at this time, the motor on the boat will start to rotate. This
situation is not a malfunction, but the boat is starting to "automatically return". The method is to
turn off the boat's power switch.
11. If the boat's switch is turned off during use and then turned on again, but the remote control
switch has not been turned off, the remote control cannot control the boat. At this time, just turn
off the remote control switch and turn it on again to operate.
12. When using more than two remote controllers at the same time, don't be surprised if two
remote controllers control a boat at the same time. Just set the remote controllers with different
serial numbers.
The use of night lights:
In order to facilitate the operation of fishing friends during night fishing. We set up the night flight
lights on the cabin cover. When the night flight lights are used, the night flight lights can be turned
on or off by the remote control. There is an independent night light switch button on the
JABO3CG remote control. Press it once to turn on the light, and press it again to turn off the light.
5.Open the waterproof cover, press the power switch, the two tail lights start to flash.

Make a lasso at a suitable position of the fishing line, insert the lasso between the two semicircular
retaining rings in the front section of the tipping bucket, and hang the lasso on the fixed post.
Then put down the tipping bucket and tighten the cable sleeve under the tipping bucket cover.
Common problems when using the nest boat:
1 The nest boat cannot return to the set starting point or is far away from the set nest point when
returning:

This situation is mainly because the time to set the starting point is relatively short after the boat is
turned on, and the receiver has not received the GPS signal stably. Improved method After the
boat is turned on, delay 3-5 minutes to set the starting point, or press the N key to select the “set
starting point” option to reset the starting point after returning home.
2 How to check the distance traveled by the nest boat: Press the up key 3 times, the screen
displays:
0: XXXX m Here is 0; it shows the distance of the boat from the starting point
X: XXXX m X: shows the distance from the boat to the target point
3 What to do if the round-trip trajectory when navigating the nest boat is not a straight line, but a
curved curve:
It can be adjusted by "Compass Calibration" in the setting options. The specific method is:
press the S key to enter the setting state, and then press up twice to enter the "compass calibration"
If the boat is obviously to the left when navigating (returning), you can press -, and the value
can be adjusted from -1 to -30
You can set it to -10 first, and try to see if there is any improvement.
If the boat is obviously to the right when navigating (returning), you can press the + sign, the
value is adjusted from 1 to 30
You can set it to 10 first, and try to see if there is any improvement.
4 If you want to stop the boat during automatic forwarding or automatic navigation, press the A/H
key.
