Su nueva KOOS Platform de JANÉ es un accesorio diseñado para
facilitar la instalación del portabebés KOOS en el automóvil. Se fija
al automóvil con anclajes ISOfix y con ella no es necesario instalar
los cinturones de seguridad alrededor del portabebés KOOS.
La KOOS Platform ha superado las exigentes pruebas de seguridad
del reglamento Europeo ECE R44/04.
La Plataforma es ISOfix de categoría Semi-Universal, es decir, es
compatible con la mayoría de los asientos de automóviles. Los que
aparecen en la Lista de automóviles aprobados la compatibilidad es
total. Puede consultar una lista actualizada en nuestra página Web.
Es muy importante que lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes
de usar la KOOS Platform por primera vez. Asegúrese que todos
aquellos que alguna vez la vayan a usar también estén familiari-
zados con su correcta instalación y uso. Se ha comprobado que un
porcentaje importante de usuarios de sillas de seguridad no insta-
lan correctamente la silla, entender los manuales de instrucciones y
aplicar correctamente lo que dicen es tan importante para la segu-
ridad como la propia silla.
Guarde las instrucciones en el compartimiento situado sobre la pla-
taforma y consúltelas en caso de duda.

INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES
La KOOS Platform se puede instalar tanto en el asiento
delantero, si no lleva air-bag, como en los traseros. De
todas formas, se aconseja instalarlo en los asientos tra-
seros. Si lo coloca en el asiento delantero del automóvil,
este NO debe tener air-bag o estar DESCONECTADO.
La KOOS Platform solo puede ser instalada mediante
anclajes ISOfix. Tiene una pata como mecanismo anti-
otación, ajústela correctamente para que ésta se apoye
al suelo del vehículo.
Es muy importante NO utilizar productos de segunda
mano, ya que JANÉ solo puede garantizar la total se-
guridad en artículos usados por su primer comprador.
JANÉ recomienda sustituir su KOOS Platform por una
nueva cuando haya sido sometida a violentas tensiones
después de un accidente.
Con el fin de proteger adecuadamente al bebé y, asegurar su confort y sujeción dentro del automó-
vil será necesario que respete las siguientes instrucciones:
Compruebe regularmente que los anclajes ISOfix y la
pata anti-rotación están correctamente conectados y/o
ajustados.
Esta plataforma esta concebida para su uso en el auto-
móvil, por lo que no se debe usar fuera del mismo.

No todos los sistemas son iguales, por lo que le
aconsejamos que la compruebe en el automó-
vil en la que vaya a ser montada. Para instalar la
plataforma, léase el manual de instrucciones de
su automóvil, en él se le indicará qué plazas son
compatibles con la plataforma. La KOOS Platform
es compatible con las categorías ISOfix: Clases C,
D y E.
La pata anti-rotación (2) es muy importante para
la seguridad, ajústela correctamente para que se
apoye en el suelo del vehículo. Si la superficie de
apoyo de la pata no es el propio chasis del vehícu-
lo (compartimiento portaobjetos por ejemplo) no
instale la plataforma en esta plaza.

Coloque la plataforma sobre el asiento de su automóvil
con la pata anti-rotación (2) y la barrera sujeción KOOS
(10) desplegadas.
Extraiga los anclajes ISOfix (3) girando el pomo (5) en el
frontal de la plataforma.
Guíe ambos anclajes (3) hacia los ejes ISOfix de su
vehículo y presione hasta que ambos lados queden
bloqueados. Dos señales verdes en los botones de li-
beración (4) le indicarán que están correctamente an-
clados. Si uno o ambos indicadores fueran rojos, vuelva
a intentarlo.
Ajuste la altura de la pata (2) para que ésta se apoye en
el suelo del vehículo, el indicador en la base de la pata
(11) cambiará a verde.
Para retirar la plataforma
Afloje la plataforma girando del pomo en el frontal de
la plataforma (5).
Libere los anclajes ISOfix tirando de los botones (4), la
señal de los botones pasará a ser roja.
Retire la plataforma.

Dejar caer el portabebés para que se ancle con ancla-
jes Pro-Fix (9).
Comprobar que se ha anclado de los dos lados, el indi-
cador debe ser verde.
Coloque el asa del KOOS en la posición auto, el símbo-
lo del coche debe quedar completo.
Gire el pomo (5) para que el conjunto quede firme
contra el respaldo del automóvil.
3a - Tire de los botones en ambos lados del asa del por-
tabebés para liberar los anclajes Pro-fix y levante el
portabebés.
NO dejar nunca al niño solo.
Cualquier alteración o adición al dispositivo sin la opor-
tuna autorización de JANÉ puede alterar gravemente la
seguridad del sistema de retención.
Leer estas instrucciones detenidamente antes de usarlo
y conservarlas para referencia futura. La seguridad del
niño puede verse afectada si no se siguen estas instruc-
ciones.
Este dispositivo de seguridad no puede ser usado sin su
tapizado, ni ser reemplazado por uno que no sea el ori-
ginal, ya que éste forma parte integrante de las caracte-
rísticas del sistema.
Compruebe que la silla ha sido colocada correctamente.

Guarde este libro de instrucciones para futuras consul-
tas. Llévelo siempre en el compartimiento situado sobre
la carcasa (7).
Asegúrese que dentro del automóvil, tanto el equipaje
como cualquier otro objeto susceptible de causar daños
en caso de accidente estén debidamente fijados o res-
guardados.
La plataforma deberá estar fijada con los anclajes ISOfix,
aunque no se esté utilizando, ya que en caso de acciden-
te podría resultar despedida provocando daños a los
ocupantes del vehículo.
Recuerde de no usar la Plataforma en automóviles do-
tados de Air-bag frontal, a no ser que este pueda ser
desconectado o desactivado, caso que deberá consultar
con el fabricante o comercio vendedor de su automóvil.
RECOMENDACIONES
Lave las partes de plástico con agua templada y jabón,
secando posteriormente todos los componentes con-
cienzudamente.
Tanto para su seguridad como para la buena conser-
vación de este producto, es importante que haga una
revisión periódica en cualquiera de nuestros talleres
oficiales.
MANTENIMIENTO
Este artículo dispone de garantía según lo estipulado en la
ley 23 / 2003 de 10 de julio. Conservar la factura de com-
pra, es imprescindible su presentación en la tienda donde
adquirío el producto para justificar su validez ante cualquier
reclamación.
Quedan excluídos de la presente garantía aquellos defectos
o averías producidas por un uso inadecuado del artículo o el
incumplimiento de las normas de seguridad y mantenimien-
to descritas en las hojas de instrucciones y en las etiquetas de
lavado, así como los elementos de desgaste por uso normal
y manejo diario.
La etiqueta que contiene el número de chasis de su modelo,
no debe ser arrancada bajo ningún concepto, contiene in-
formación importante.

Your new KOOS Platform from JANÉ is an accessory that has been
designed to make installing the KOOS baby carrier easier in the car.
The platform is fastened to the car with ISOfix anchors so there is
no need to fit the seat belts over the KOOS baby carrier.
The KOOS Platform has passed the strict safety tests of European
Standard ECE R44/04.
This is a Semi-Universal ISOfix platform, in other words, it is com-
patible with most vehicle seats. The approved vehicles list shows
which are completely compatible. An updated list can be seen on
our website.
It is very important that you read these instructions carefully
before using the KOOS platform for the first time. Make sure
that everyone who is ever going to use the platform also knows
how to install it and use it correctly. It has been discovered that
a significant percentage of car seat users do not install their seats
correctly, understanding the instruction manual and following it
correctly is as important for safety as the actual seat.
Keep the instructions in the compartment on the platform and
consult them if in any doubt.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The KOOS Platform can be installed on the front seat,
if there is no airbag, or on the back seat. It is advisable
to install it on the back seat. If you install it on the front
seat of the car, the seat must not have an airbag, or it
must be disconnected.
The KOOS platform can only be installed using ISOfix
fasteners. It has a leg as an anti-swivel mechanism, ad-
just it correctly so that it is supported by the floor of
the vehicle.
It is very important NOT to use second-hand products,
since JANÉ can only guarantee the complete safety of
articles used by the original buyer.
JANÉ recommends that the KOOS platform should be
replaced by a new one when it has been subjected to
severe strain in the event of an accident.
In order to protect the baby correctly and guarantee his comfort and safety in the car, it is neces-
sary to follow the instructions below:
Regularly check that the ISOfix fasteners and the anti-
swivel leg are correctly connected and/or adjusted.
This platform has been designed for use in the car, there-
fore, it should not be used out of the car.

Place the platform on the vehicle seat with the anti-
rotation leg (2) and the KOOS fastening guard (10)
unfolded.
Take the ISOfix fasteners out (3) turning the button (5)
on the front of the base.
Guide both fasteners (3) towards the ISOfix axles of
your vehicle and press until both sides are locked into
place. Two green signals will appear on the release
buttons (4) indicating that they are correctly fastened.
If one or both indicators are red, try it again.
Adjust the height of the leg (2) so that it is supported
by the floor of the vehicle, the indicator on the base of
the leg (11) will turn green.
Removing the platform
Loosen the platform by turning the handle on the front
of the platform (5).
Release the ISOfix fasteners by pulling the buttons (4),
the button indicator will turn red.
Remove the platform.
Not all systems are the same, so we advise you
to check this in the vehicle in which the platform
is going to be installed. To install the platform,
read the instruction manual for your car, as this
will indicate which seats are compatible with the
platform. The KOOS platform is compatible with
the ISOfix categories: Classes C, D and E.
The anti-rotation leg (2) is very important for
safety, adjust it properly so that it is supported by
the floor of the vehicle. If the supporting surface
for the leg is not the actual vehicle chassis (a sto-
rage compartment for example) do not install the
platform on this seat.

Drop the baby carrier so it locks into place with the Pro-
Fix fasteners (9).
Check that both sides are fastened into place, the indi-
cator should be green.
Set the KOOS handle to the auto position, the car sym-
bol should be complete.
Turn the handle (5) so that the whole ensemble is secu-
re against the backrest of the vehicle
3a - Pull the buttons on both sides of the handle of the
baby carrier to release the Pro-fix anchors and lift the
baby carrier off the base.
Never leave the child alone.
Any alteration or addition to the device without due au-
thorisation from JANÉ may seriously alter the safety of
the retention system.
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep
them for future reference. Your child’s safety may be af-
fected if you do not follow these instructions.
This safety device must not be used without its uphol-
stery, or with different upholstery that is not the original
one, as it forms part of the safety characteristics of the
system.
Check that the seat has been installed correctly.

Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
Always keep it in the compartment on the frame (7).
Make sure that any luggage or other objects inside the
car that could cause harm in the event of an accident are
properly secured or stored away.
The platform should be secured with the ISOfix faste-
ners, even when not in use, as in the event of an acci-
dent it could move and injure the other occupants of the
vehicle.
Remember not to use the Platform in cars fitted with a
frontal airbag, unless this can first be disconnected or
deactivated, if in doubt consult the vehicle manufacturer
or dealership.
Wash the plastic parts with soap and warm water, then
dry all the parts properly.
For your safety and the good conservation of this
product, it is important to bring it to one of our official
workshops for regular inspections.
RECOMMENDATIONS
MAINTENANCE
This article comes with a guarantee in accordance with the
provisions of law 23 / 2003 of 10th July. Keep your receipt as
proof of purchase, it is essential to present the receipt in the
shop where you bought the product to confirm validity of
the guarantee in the event of any problems.
This guarantee excludes any defects or breakages caused by
inappropriate use of the article or inobservance of the safe-
ty and maintenance rules listed in the instruction pages and
on the care labels, as well as faults caused by wear and tear
through normal use and daily handling.
The label displaying the chassis number of the model should
never be taken off, it contains important information.
