OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
JS1219WA speaker system

1. Read these instructions.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with a damp cloth.
7. Do not block any of the ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other. The wide blade is provided for your safety. When the provided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plug, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Unplug this apparatus during lighting storms or when unused for long periods of time.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personal. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as when the power-supply cord or plug is damaged,
liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
14. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer or sold
with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
15. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
16. The MAINS plug is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable.
Outdoor use or wet location applications:
An apparatus that does not comply with the requirements(Outdoor Use and Wet Location
Apparatus) shall be marked or the instruction manual packed with the word "WARNING" and
the following or equivalent. To reduce the risk of fine or electric shock, do not expose this
apparatus to rain or moisture.
A Class II APPARATUS shall be permanently marked with the words "DOUBLE INSULATION"
or "Double Insulated" and "When servicing use only identical replacement parts."

Package Contents
1. Operation LED Indicator (red/blue LED): When the operation LED indicator lights
up (red and blue indicators flash alternatively), it indicates that the power is on
and the Bluetooth is working normally.
2. Volume Control: Adjust the volume level by turning the volume knob or the volume
wave-band switch.

6. Audio In (AUX IN): For a 3.5mm audio input.
7. Power In (AC IN): Please connect to the appropriate power source consistent with
the product.
Preview of the Product
1. Please insert 4 AA-size batteries into the battery jack and reinstall the battery lid,
or plug the power cable into a power outlet. Turn on the power. The LED indicator
will flash in red and blue alternatively, indicating that the power is on and the
Bluetooth is working normally.
2. The operation LED indicator keeps flashing in red and blue alternatively to indicate
that the speaker is in pairing mode.
3. Please get a device ready for entering Bluetooth pairing or searching mode. The
device may be one of the following: 1) a mobile phone, PDA, PC/NB or other
device that supports the standard Bluetooth A2DP profile; or 2) a PC, MP3 player,
iPod or other device with an external Bluetooth adapter (Bluetooth Dongle or
Bluetooth TX).
*Note: Please refer to the Bluetooth user manual for how to pair and search your
Bluetooth device of the music source.
4. After the pairing or searching succeeds, the LED indicator on the Bluetooth
speaker will blink blue (4 times every 4 seconds) and the Bluetooth device of the
music source will display successful connection to the Bluetooth speaker.
5. You may need to enter a password while two Bluetooth devices are pairing. The
initial password of the Bluetooth speaker is “0000”.
6. When there is an incoming call from the connected mobile phone while the music
is playing, the music will stop; and the Bluetooth speaker will resume the music if
the call is finished.
7. The Bluetooth speaker also supports the input for external wired audio source.
When the signal is received from an input of external wired audio source, the blue
LED indicator on the Bluetooth speaker will be permanently ON and the Bluetooth
mode will be deactivated. If you wish to activate the Bluetooth mode, just
disconnect the external input to restore the Bluetooth mode.
8. If the pairing or searching fails, please repeat Steps2-5.
9. The Bluetooth transmitter (Bluetooth Dongle or Bluetooth TX) is also available
from the company.
*Note: When the LED indicator blinks red, it indicates that the power is low. Please
replace with new batteries immediately; otherwise, it might cause the Bluetooth to
work abnormally.

(particularly in unventilated spaces or nearby heaters) or dusty.

water seepage.

6.Clean speaker housing by wiping with mild cleaning solution. Do not use solvents!
7.The speakers incorporate an efficient anti-magnetic architecture, permitting use in
close proximity to most television screens.If the use of your speakers cause
distortions in your television screen colors, try the following:
Turn off and unplug your television, turn on the speaker(s).After waiting 15 to 30
minutes, turn the television on and increase the distance between screen and
speakers until distortion disappears. Also, note whether other magnetic emission
sources are in the immediate vicinity. If so, relocate so as to prevent screen
distortion.
8. "!" WARNING : Before connecting or disconnecting any cables, make sure that
the speaker's power button is in the " OFF " position and the power adapter is
unplugged from the power source and not receiving power.
