Thank you for buying this JB Systems®product. To take full advantage of all possibilities, please read these
operating instructions very carefully.
FEATURES
The USB3.1-RDS combines different audio sources in a small 19”/1U housing, perfect for all kinds of fixed
installations such as pubs, shops, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, … :
oAM / FM-radio: with RDS and 18 station presets
oSlot-in CD-player: plays both audio CDs and MP3/WMA files (supports CD-R and CD-RW disks)
oUSB / SD-card media player: supports USB-sticks and SD/SDHC-cards up to 64GB
Support for WMA and MP3-tracks up to 48kHz / 320kbps
LCD-display shows FM RDS-station names and ID3-tags (title, artist, …) for MP3 and WMA-tracks
Different playback modes: normal, random, repeat one/folder/all.
2 fixed + 1 combined RCA/cinch output:
oPerfect for use in multi-zone installations: FM-radio and media/CD-player can operate
simultaneously and send different music to their separate outputs!
oFor simple installations a combined “tuner & media/CD-player” output with volume control is
available.
The RS-232 input makes remote control by for example “home automation systems” possible.
24Vdc emergency backup supply on EuroBlock connector.
BEFORE USE
Before you start using this unit, please check if there’s no transportation damage. Should there be any, do
not use the device and consult your dealer first.
Important: This device left our factory in perfect condition and well packaged. It is absolutely necessary
for the user to strictly follow the safety instructions and warnings in this user manual. Any damage caused
by mishandling is not subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any resulting defects
or problems caused by disregarding this user manual.
Keep this booklet in a safe place for future consultation. If you sell the fixture, be sure to add this user
manual.
To protect the environment, please try to recycle the packing material as much as possible.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when
bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full
performance or may even cause damages.
This unit is for indoor use only.
Don’t place metal objects or spill liquid inside the unit. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be
placed on this appliance. Electric shock or malfunction may result. If a foreign object enters the unit,
immediately disconnect the mains power.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the appliance.
Don’t cover any ventilation openings as this may result in overheating.
Prevent use in dusty environments and clean the unit regularly.
Keep the unit away from children.
Inexperienced persons should not operate this device.
Maximum save ambient temperature is 40°C. Don’t use this unit at higher ambient temperatures.
Minimum distances around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation is 5cm.
Always unplug the unit when it is not used for a longer time or before you start servicing.
The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for
electrical and mechanical safety in your country.
Check that the available voltage is not higher than the one stated on the rear panel of the unit.
The socket inlet shall remain operable for disconnection from the mains.
The power cord should always be in perfect condition. Switch the unit immediately off when the power cord
is squashed or damaged. It must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Never let the power-cord come into contact with other cables!
When the power switch is in OFF position, this unit is not completely disconnected from the mains!
In order to prevent electric shock, do not open the cover. Apart from the mains fuse there are no user
serviceable parts inside.
Never repair a fuse or bypass the fuse holder. Always replace a damaged fuse with a fuse of the same
type and electrical specifications!
In the event of serious operating problems, stop using the appliance and contact your dealer immediately.
Please use the original packing when the device is to be transported.
Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorized modifications to the unit.

Refer servicing to qualified service personnel only.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within the equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
use or the presence of un-insulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may
be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

important operation and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying this
appliance.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
Placing and using the unit for long periods near heat-generating sources such as amplifiers, spotlights,
etc. will affect its performance and may even damage the unit.
Take care to minimize shocks and vibrations during transport.
When installed in a booth or flight case, please make sure to have good ventilation to improve heat
evacuation of the unit.
To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when
bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full
performance.
Choose the place where you put your installation very carefully. Avoid presence of heat sources. Avoid
places with vibrations or places that are dusty and humid.
The player will work normally when installed on a surface with max. 15° inclination.
Be very careful while handling CDs, do not touch them with wet or dirty hands.
Discs that are dirty must be cleaned with special designed cloth and cleaning products.
Do not use CDs that are badly damaged (scratched or deformed) they can damage your appliance.
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
In order to prevent electric shock, do not open the top cover. If a problem occurs, contact your dealer.
Do not place metal objects or spill liquid inside the player. Electric shock or malfunction may result.
This player uses the semiconductor laser. To allow you to enjoy music at a stable operation, it is
recommended to use this in a room of 5°C –35°C.
The compact disc player should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service
personnel.
This unit may cause interference to radio and television reception.
CLEANING THE PLAYER:
Clean by wiping with a polished cloth slightly dipped with water. Avoid getting water inside the unit. Do not
use volatile liquids such as benzene or thinner which will damage the unit.
CONNECTING THE UNIT
1. MAINS input with IEC socket and integrated fuse holder: connect the supplied mains cable here. Never
repair a fuse or bypass the fuse holder. Always replace a damaged fuse with a fuse of the same type
and with the same electrical specifications (T500mA /250V)
2. DC 24V input connector : can be used to connect you back-up power supply (if needed)
3. RS-232 connector: can be used to control the unit via external hardware so the unit can be integrated in
automated systems, etc. You can find the list with commands on the last page of this manual.
4. Variable Audio Output: This combined output sends out the audio signal of the CD player, the USB or
SD media player and the Tuner
5. Fixed Audio Output CD/MEDIA: This output will only send the audio signal of the CD player and the
USB or SD media player. It doesn’t include the audio signal of the Tuner. This means you can use 2
sources at the same time (for multi-zone applications) and send the signal of the CD or USB / SD media
player to one room or zone, while the audio signal of the tuner can be sent to another room or zone.
6. Fixed Audio Output Tuner: This output will only send the audio signal of the Tuner. It doesn’t include
the audio signal of the CD player and the USB or SD media player. This means you can use 2 sources
at the same time (for multi-zone applications) and send the signal of the CD or USB / SD media player to
one room or zone, while the audio signal of the tuner can be sent to another room or zone.
7. 75 Ohm Antenna connection: can be used to connect the supplied FM antenna (or another FM
antenna)
8. 300 Ohm Antenna connection: can be used to connect an AM antenna

CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
9. Function rotating / push button: This button has 3 different functions:
Turn the button to change the output level of the player
Push the button shortly to toggle between the different players: Radio, CD, USB and SD/SDHC
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to toggle between the 2 available playback modes:
SINGLE PLAY: when you press the play button, only 1 song will be played. The player stops at
the end of each track and waits at the beginning of the next track.
NORMAL PLAY: the complete CD or USB storage will be played without interruption.
10. LCD Display: Shows all the important information needed during playback.
11. Disc loading slot: to load a CD, slide it gently into the slot with the printed side facing up. Halfway the
CD will automatically be pulled inside, don’t press the CD in the slot with force, this will damage the
loading mechanism! Only use standard size CD’s (Ø=12cm), never try to insert mini CD’s with or
without adapter !
12. Eject Button: press this button to eject the inserted CD.
13. PLAY/PAUSE button:
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: every time you press the PLAY/PAUSE button the player changes
from play to pause or from pause to play.
In AM/FM radio mode: keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station
as preset 1 of the selected band.
14. STOP Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode : Press this button to stop the playback of the current track and to
return to the very first track on your media support.
In AM/FM radio mode: keep the button pressed to store the current radio station as preset 2 of the
selected band.
15. PRE Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: this button has 2 functions:
Press the button shortly to go back to the starting point of the track. If you press several times,
you can skip to the previous songs.
Keep the button pressed to navigate backwards in the current song
In AM/FM radio mode:
Press the button shortly to activate the Auto Seek mode. The tuner will search for the next strong
radio signal by exploring the frequencies downwards.
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds: the tuner will go into Manual Seek mode. Each
time you will press this same button shortly, the frequency will now decrease by one step. You
can use the NEXT button to increase the frequency by one step. If the PRE or NEXT buttons are
not used for a while, the tuner will return to it’s initial Auto Seek mode for your next commands.
16. NEXT Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: this button has 2 functions:
Press the button shortly to go to the next track.
Keep the button pressed to navigate forwards in the current song
In AM/FM radio mode:
Press the button shortly to activate the Auto Seek mode. The tuner will search for the next strong
radio signal by exploring the frequencies upwards.
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds: the tuner will go into Manual Seek mode. Each
time you will press this same button shortly, the frequency will now increase by one step. You can
use the PRE button to decrease the frequency by one step. If the PRE or NEXT buttons are not
used for a while, the tuner will return to it’s initial Auto Seek mode for your next commands.

17. REPEAT Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: press the button shortly to toggle between the available repeat
modes:
RPT ONE (REPEAT ONE): the same track will be played and repeated contuniously
RPT FOLD (REPEAT FOLDER): all the songs of the current folder will be played and repeated
continuously
RPT ALL (REPEAT ALL): all the tracks on the media support will be played and repeated
continuously
RPT OFF (REPEAT OFF): playback will be stopped when the tracks have been played once.
In AM/FM radio mode: Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station
as preset 3 of the selected band
18. T.BAND / ID3 tag Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: this button has 2 functions:
Press the button shortly to show the ID3 tag information of the current track on the display.
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to activate / desactivate the Loudness function.
In AM/FM radio mode: press the button shortly to toggle between the different radio bands: FM1 >
FM2 > FM3 > MW1 > MW2
19. EQ Button : Press the button shortly to toggle between the different equalizer presets: FLAT > CLASSIC
> POP > ROCK > OFF.
20. USB connection: this USB connection can be used to connect an USB stick that was formatted in
FAT32 with a maximum capacity of 64GB. When a USB Stick is inserted, the playback of the tracks on
this USB stick will automatically start.
21. FOLDERS / PRESETS - Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: press the button shortly to go to the previous folder
In AM/FM radio mode:
Press the button shortly to go to the previous radio preset.
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station as preset 5 of the
selected band.
22. FOLDERS / PRESETS + Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: press the button shortly to go to the next folder
In AM/FM radio mode:
Press the button shortly to go to the previous radio preset.
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station as preset 6 of the
selected band.
23. SD/SDHC CARD Slot : When a card is inserted, the playback of the tracks on this card will automatically
start.
24. SHUFFLE Button :
In CD, USB or SD/SDHC mode: press the button shortly to activate or desactivate te random play
function
In AM/FM radio mode: Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station
as preset 4 of the selected band
25. A.STORE Button : Press the button shortly to activate the automatic radio scan and storage function.
Available radio stations will be automatically stored for all the bands.
26. MUTE Button : Press this button to activate or desactivate the MUTE function.
Remark: only the VARIABLE output and the FIXED CD/MP3 output will be muted, not the FIXED
TUNER output !
27. Power LED: is ON when the player is switched ON.
28. Power ON/OFF switch: switches the player on and off.
HOW TO USE …
The functions are actually already explained in the previous chapter “controls and functions” In this chapter
we provide you an overvieuw of some specific functions for each type of player.
AM/FM RADIO:
Push the Function knob (9) shortly to toggle between the different audio sources and select the RADIO
function.
Use the T.BAND button (18) to toggle between the available radio bands FM1>FM2>FM3>MW1>MW2
Use the PRESETS –button to go to the previous radio preset or use the PRESETS + button (22) to go
to the next radio preset of the selected radio band.

How to search for radio stations:
Use the PRE button (15) to search for a radio station with a lower frequency or use the NEXT button (16)
to search for a radio station with a higher frequency.
Press the PRE or NEXT button shortly to activate the auto scan function : the tuner will scan the
frequencies until it finds a radio station with sufficient signal.
You can also search manually. For this, press the PRE or NEXT button for about 3 seconds. You are
now in manual mode. Each time you will now press the PRE or NEXT button shortly, the frequency will
be decreaced or increased by one step.
How to store radio channels:
There are 2 ways to do this: radio stations can be stored automatically or manually in the preset channels.
Full automatic scanning and storage:
Press the A.STORE button (25) shortly to activate the automatic radio scan and storage function.
Available radio stations will be automatically stored for all the bands..
Manual scanning and storage:
Use the T.BAND button (18) to toggle between the available radio bands FM1 > FM2 > FM3 > MW1
> MW2
Use the PRE button (15) to search for a radio station with a lower frequency or use the NEXT button
(16) to search for a radio station with a higher frequency. (see previous chapter “how to search for
radio stations)
Once you have found a radio station you want to store in the presets:
Keep the PLAY/PAUSE button (13) pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station
as preset 1 of the selected band.
Keep the STOP button (14) pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station as
preset 2 of the selected band.
Keep the REPEAT button (17) pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station as
preset 3 of the selected band.
Keep the SHUFFLE button (24) pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current radio station as
preset 4 of the selected band
Keep the FOLDERS/PRESETS - button (21) pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current
radio station as preset 5 of the selected band
Keep the FOLDERS/PRESETS + button (22) pressed for about 3 seconds to store the current
radio station as preset 6 of the selected band
CD / USB / SD/SDHC Player:
Single play or normal (continuous) play:
Keep the button pressed for about 3 seconds to toggle between the 2 available playback modes:
SINGLE PLAY: when you press the play button, only 1 song will be played. The player stops at the
end of each track and waits at the beginning of the next track.
NORMAL PLAY: the complete CD or Storage device will be played without interruption.
Navigation:
Navigation between folders (if available on your CD):
press the FOLDERS/PRESETS –button (21) shortly to navigate to the previous folder
press the FOLDERS/PRESETS + button (22) shortly to navigate to the next folder.
Navigation between tracks:
Press the PRE button (15) shortly to go back to the starting point of the track
Press the NEXT button (16) shortly to go to the starting point of the next track
Navigation in a track:
Keep the PRE button (15) pressed to navigate backwards in the current song
Keep the NEXT button (16) pressed to navigate forwards in the current song
Repeat function:
Press the REPEAT button (17) shortly to toggle between the available repeat modes:
RPT ONE (REPEAT ONE): the same track will be played and repeated contuniously
RPT FOLD (REPEAT FOLDER): all the songs of the current folder will be played and repeated
continuously

Random play:
Songs of the full media support will be played at random. Just press the SHUFFLE button (24) to activate
or desactivate te random play function.
GENERAL SETTINGS FOR ALL PLAYERS:
Output volume of the mixed output can be adjusted by turning the FUNCTION button (9).
Loudness can be activated or desactivated by keeping the T.BAND (18) button pressed for about 3
seconds
Equaliser settings can be adjusted by pressing the EQ button shortly to toggle between the different
equalizer presets: FLAT > CLASSIC > POP > ROCK > OFF

d'utilisation pour tirer profit de toutes les possibilités du produit.
CARACTÉRISTIQUES
Le lecteur USB3.1-RDS, dans un boîtier 19"/1U/48 cm, combine différentes sources audio. Cet appareil
est parfait pour toutes sortes d'installations fixes comme pubs, boutiques, hôtels, restaurants, centres
commerciaux, etc.
oRadio AM/FM : avec système RDS et 18 stations préréglées
oLecteur CD à fente de chargement : il permet de lires aussi bien les CD audio que des fichiers
MP3/WMA (disque compatible CD-R et CD-RW)
oLecteur de médias USB/carte SD : il prend en charge les clés de mémoire USB et les cartes de
mémoire SD/SDHC jusqu'à 64 Go
Compatible avec des pistes WMA et MP3 avec échantillonnage jusqu'à 48 kHz/320 kbit/s
L'écran LCD affiche le nom des stations FM-RDS et les balises ID3 (titre, artiste, etc.) pour les pistes MP3
et WMA
Divers modes de lecture : normal, aléatoire, répétition simple/par dossier/toutes les pistes.
2 sorties fixes + 1 sortie RCA/Cinch combinée :
oParfait pour une installation multizone : La radio FM et le lecteur CD/médias peuvent

séparées !
oPour les installations simples, une sortie mixée « radio et lecteur CD/médias » avec sa
commande de volume est disponible.
L'entrée RS-232 fournit une commande à distance pour, par exemple, des « systèmes domotiques ».
Alimentation de secours 24 V DC sur connecteur EuroBlock.

INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ :
Pour éviter tout incendie ou électrocution, n'exposez pas cet appareil à la pluie ou à l'humidité.
Pour éviter une formation de condensation interne, laissez l'appareil s'adapter à la température ambiante
quand vous le mettez dans une pièce chaude après le transport. La condensation empêche parfois
l'appareil de fonctionner à plein rendement ou peut même causer des dommages.
Cet appareil est destiné à un usage intérieur seulement.
Ne placez pas d'objets métalliques et ne renversez pas de liquides à l'intérieur de l'appareil. Aucun objet
rempli de liquide, tel que des vases, ne doit être placé au-dessus de l'appareil. Un choc électrique ou un
dysfonctionnement peut en résulter. Si un corps étranger pénètre dans l'appareil, débranchez
immédiatement le cordon d'alimentation de la prise secteur.
Aucune source de flamme nue, telle que des bougies allumées, ne doit être placée au-dessus de
l'appareil.
Ne couvrez pas les ouvertures de ventilation, cela pourrait entraîner une surchauffe.
Évitez une utilisation dans des environnements poussiéreux et nettoyez l'appareil régulièrement.

Les personnes inexpérimentées ne doivent pas utiliser cet appareil.
La température ambiante de fonctionnement maximale est de 40 °C. N'utilisez pas cet appareil à des

Il faut laisser au moins 5 cm autour de l'appareil pour assurer une aération suffisante.
Débranchez toujours l'appareil lorsqu'il ne va pas être utilisé pendant une longue période et avant chaque
entretien.
L'installation électrique doit être effectuée par du personnel qualifié, conformément à la réglementation en
matière de sécurité électrique et mécanique dans votre pays.
Vérifiez que votre tension n'est pas supérieure à celle indiquée sur le panneau arrière de l'appareil.
La prise d'entrée doit rester accessible pour le débranchement du secteur.
Le cordon d'alimentation doit toujours être en parfait état. Éteignez immédiatement l'appareil dès que le
cordon d'alimentation est écrasé ou endommagé. Il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son agent de
service ou une personne de même qualification afin d'éviter tout danger.
Ne laissez jamais le cordon d'alimentation entrer en contact avec d'autres câbles !
Même lorsque l'interrupteur d'alimentation est positionné sur OFF, l'appareil n'est pas complètement
débranché du secteur !
Afin d'éviter un choc électrique, n'ouvrez aucun panneau. Aucune pièce interne n'est remplaçable par
l'utilisateur à part le fusible secteur.
Ne réparez jamais un fusible et ne court-circuitez jamais le porte-fusible. Remplacez toujours un fusible
endommagé par un fusible du même type ayant les mêmes spécifications électriques !

votre revendeur.

DIRECTIVES D'INSTALLATION :
En plaçant et en utilisant l'appareil pendant de longues périodes à proximité de sources générant de la
chaleur telles que amplificateurs, projecteurs, etc. l'appareil risque d'être endommagé et ses performances
dégradées.
Veillez à éviter les chocs et les vibrations pendant le transport.
Lorsqu'il est installé dans une cabine de prise de son ou mallette de transport, assurez-vous d'avoir une
bonne ventilation pour améliorer l'évacuation de la chaleur de l'unité.
Pour éviter une formation de condensation interne, laissez l'appareil s'adapter à la température ambiante
quand vous le mettez dans une pièce chaude après le transport. Une formation de condensation peut
parfois empêcher l'appareil de fonctionner à plein rendement.
Choisissez avec soin l'emplacement d'installation de votre appareil. Évitez la présence de sources de
chaleur. Évitez les emplacements soumis à des vibrations, à l'humidité ou poussiéreux.
Le lecteur ne fonctionnera correctement que s'il est installé sur une surface avec un angle d'inclinaison
maximale de 15°.
Faites très attention, quand vous manipulez les CD, de ne pas les toucher avec des mains sales ou
humides.
Les disques sales doivent être nettoyés avec un chiffon et un produit de nettoyage spécialement conçu.
Ne tentez pas de lire des CD vraiment endommagés (rayés ou déformés), ils peuvent endommager votre
appareil.
Pour éviter tout incendie ou électrocution, n'exposez pas cet appareil à la pluie ou à l'humidité.
Pour éviter tout risque d'électrocution, n'ouvrez pas le capot supérieur. Si vous rencontrez un problème,
contactez votre revendeur.
N'insérez aucun objet métallique ou ne déversez aucun liquide à l'intérieur du lecteur. Un choc électrique
ou un dysfonctionnement peut en résulter.
Ce lecteur emploie un laser de type semi-conducteur. Pour obtenir une reproduction musicale optimale,
utilisez le lecteur dans une pièce à température ambiante entre 5 et 35 °C.
Le lecteur de disque compact ne doit pas être réglé ou réparé par une personne non qualifiée.
Cet appareil peut produire des interférences à la réception radio et télévisée.
NETTOYAGE DU LECTEUR :
Nettoyez l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon légèrement humidifié. Évitez que l'eau ne pénètre à l'intérieur de
l'appareil. N'utilisez pas de liquides volatils tels que benzène ou diluant qui endommagent l'appareil.
CONNEXION DE L'UNITÉ
1. Entrée secteur avec prise CEI et porte-fusible intégré. Branchez le câble secteur fourni ici. Ne réparez
jamais un fusible et ne court-circuitez jamais le porte-fusible. Remplacez toujours un fusible endommagé
par un fusible du même type et de caractéristiques électriques identiques (T 500 mA/250 V)
2. Prise d'entrée d'alimentation 24 V CC : pour connecter l'alimentation de secours (si nécessaire)
3. Connecteur RS-232 : pour commander l'appareil par un dispositif externe de façon à l'intégrer à des
systèmes d'automatisation, etc. Vous trouverez une liste avec les commandes à la dernière page de ce
manuel.
4. Sortie audio variable : cette prise prévoit la sortie du signal audio du lecteur CD, de médias USB/SD et
de la radio.
5. Sortie audio fixe CD/MÉDIAS : cette prise prévoit uniquement la sortie du signal audio du lecteur CD et
de médias USB/SD. Le signal audio de la radio n'est pas inclus. De cette façon, il est possible d'utiliser 2
sources en même temps (pour les applications multizones) et d'acheminer le signal du lecteur CD ou de
médias USB/SD à une pièce ou zone, alors que le signal audio de la radio est acheminé à une autre
pièce ou zone.
6. Sortie audio fixe RADIO : cette prise prévoit uniquement la sortie du signal audio de la radio. elle ne
prévoit pas la sortie du signal audio du lecteur CD et de médias USB/SD. De cette façon, il est possible
d'utiliser 2 sources en même temps (pour les applications multizones) et d'acheminer le signal du lecteur
CD ou de médias USB/SD à une pièce ou zone, alors que le signal audio de la radio est acheminé à une
autre pièce ou zone.

COMMANDES ET FONCTIONS
9. Bouton-poussoir rotatif de fonction : il permet d'effectuer 3 différentes actions :
Tourner le bouton permet de régler le niveau de sortie du lecteur
Appuyer brièvement sur le bouton permet de basculer entre les différents lecteurs : radio, CD, USB
et SD/SDHC
Appuyer longuement, pendant 3 secondes environ, permet de basculer entre les 2 modes de lecture
possibles :
LECTURE SIMPLE : si vous appuyez sur le bouton de lecture, seule une piste est lue. Le lecteur
s'arrête à la fin de chaque piste et se met en attente au débit de la piste suivante.
LECTURE NORMALE : le disque CD ou le dispositif de stockage USB est lu en entier sans
interruption.
10. Écran LCD : il affiche toutes les informations importantes et nécessaires pendant la lecture.
11. Fente de chargement de disque : pour charger un CD, faites-le glisser doucement dans la fente avec
la face imprimée vers le haut. À mi-chemin, le CD est automatiquement tiré à l'intérieur, ne forcez pas
l'insertion du CD dans la fente, vous risquez d'endommager le mécanisme de chargement ! Utilisez
uniquement des CD de taille standard (Ø = 12 cm), n'essayez pas d'introduire un mini-CD avec ou
sans adaptateur !
12. Touche d'éjection : pour éjecter le CD inséré.
13. Touche « LECTURE/PAUSE » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche de lecture/pause, le
lecteur passe en lecture ou se met en pause.
En mode radio AM/FM : appuyer longuement sur la touche, pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de
mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 1 de la bande sélectionnée.
14. Touche « ARRÊT » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : appuyer sur cette touche permet d'arrêter la lecture de la piste
actuelle et de revenir à la toute première piste de votre support de médias.
En mode radio AM/FM : appuyer longuement sur la touche permet de mémoriser la station radio
actuelle comme station préréglée 2 de la bande sélectionnée.
15. Touche « PRÉCÉDENT » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : cette touche a 2 fonctions :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet de revenir au début de la piste. Appuyer de façon
répétée permet de passer à la piste précédente.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche permet de revenir vers le début de la piste actuelle
En mode radio AM/FM :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet d'activer le mode de recherche automatique. La station
radio la plus proche avec un signal fort est recherchée en revenant vers le début des fréquences.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche, pendant 3 secondes environ, permet de faire passer la radio
en mode de recherche manuelle. Chaque fois que vous appuyez brièvement sur la touche, la
fréquence radio sera diminuée d'un incrément. Utilisez la touche « SUIVANT » pour augmenter la
fréquence d'un incrément. Si les touches « PRÉCÉDENT » ou « SUIVANT » restent inutilisé
pendant un certain temps, la radio revient au mode de recherche automatique d'origine pour les
commandes suivantes.
16. Touche « SUIVANT » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : cette touche a 2 fonctions :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet de passer à la piste suivante.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche permet d'avancer dans la piste actuelle
En mode radio AM/FM :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet d'activer le mode de recherche automatique. La station

17. Touche « RÉPÉTER » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : appuyer brièvement sur la touche pour basculer entre les
différents modes de répétition possibles :
« RPT ONE » (RÉPÉTER UNE PISTE) : la piste actuelle est lue et répétée en continu
« RPT FOLD » (RÉPÉTER UN DOSSIER) : toutes les pistes du dossier actuel sont lues et
répétées en continu
« RPT ALL » (TOUT RÉPÉTER) : toutes les pistes du support de médias sont lues et répétées
en continu
« RPT OFF » (PAS DE RÉPÉTITION) : la lecture s'arrête dès que les pistes ont été lues une fois.
En mode radio AM/FM : Appuyer longuement sur la touche, pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de
mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 3 de la bande sélectionnée
18. Touche « T.BAND/ID3 tag » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : cette touche a 2 fonctions :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet d'afficher sur l'écran les informations des balises ID3
de la piste actuelle.
Appuyer longuement, pendant 3 secondes environ, permet d'activer/désactiver la fonction de
contrôle de volume.
En mode radio AM/FM : appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet de basculer entre les différentes
bandes de fréquences radio : FM1 > FM2 > FM3 > MW1 > MW2
19. Touche « EQ » : Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet de basculer entre les différents préréglages
de l'égaliseur : FLAT > CLASSIC > POP > ROCK > OFF.
20. Connexion USB : cette connexion USB permet de brancher une clé USB formatée avec le système de
fichier FAT32 d'une capacité maximale de 64 Go. Dès qu'une clé USB est insérée, la lecture des pistes
démarre automatiquement.
21. Touche « DOSSIERS/PRÉRÉGLÉES - » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : appuyer brièvement sur la touche pour revenir au dossier
précédent
En mode radio AM/FM :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet d'aller à la station radio préréglée précédente.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche, pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de mémoriser la station
radio actuelle comme station préréglée 5 de la bande sélectionnée.
22. Touche « DOSSIERS/PRÉRÉGLÉES + » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : appuyer brièvement sur la touche pour passer au dossier suivant
En mode radio AM/FM :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet d'aller à la station radio préréglée précédente.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche, pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de mémoriser la station
radio actuelle comme station préréglée 6 de la bande sélectionnée.
23. LECTEUR DE CARTES SD/SDHC : Dès qu'une carte mémoire est insérée, la lecture des pistes
démarre automatiquement.
24. Touche « ALÉATOIRE » :
En mode CD, USB ou SD/SDHC : appuyer brièvement sur la touche pour activer ou désactiver la
fonction de lecture aléatoire
En mode radio AM/FM : Appuyer longuement sur la touche, pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de
mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 4 de la bande sélectionnée
25. Touche « A.STORE » : Appuyer brièvement sur la touche permet d'activer la recherche automatique
des stations radio et la fonction de mémorisation. Les stations radio disponibles seront automatiquement
mémorisées pour toutes les bandes.
26. Touche « COUPURE DU SON » : Appuyez sur cette touche pour activer ou désactiver la fonction de
coupure du son.
Remarque : seules les sorties, variable et CD/MP3 FIXE, seront mises sous silence, mais pas la sortie
RADIO FIXE !
27. Témoin d'alimentation : allumé lorsque le lecteur est mis sous tension.
28. Interrupteur Marche/Arrêt : il permet d'allumer ou d'éteindre le lecteur.
COMMENT PROCÉDER
Les principales fonctions ont été développées dans le chapitre précédent « Commandes et fonctions ».
Dans ce chapitre, nous donnons un aperçu de certaines fonctions particulières pour chaque type de lecteur.
RADIO AM/FM :
Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton rotatif de fonction (9) pour passer d'une source audio à l'autre et
sélectionnez la fonction RADIO.

Utilisez la touche « T.BAND » (18) pour faire défiler les bandes radio disponibles
FM1>FM2>FM3>MW1>MW2
Utilisez la touche « PRESETS - » pour revenir à la station radio préréglée précédente ou la touche
« PRESETS + » (22) pour aller à la station radio suivante de la bande sélectionnée.
Comment rechercher des stations radio :
Utilisez la touche « PRÉCÉDENT » (15) pour rechercher une station radio dans les fréquences plus
basses ou la touche « SUIVANT » (16) pour la rechercher dans les fréquences plus hautes.
Appuyez brièvement la touche « PRÉCÉDENT » ou « SUIVANT » pour activer la fonction de
recherche automatique : les fréquences sont balayées à la recherche des stations radio avec un
signal suffisant.
Il est possible aussi d'effectuer une recherche manuelle. Pour cela, appuyez la touche
« PRÉCÉDENT » ou « SUIVANT » pendant environ 3 secondes. Vous êtes à présent en mode de
recherche manuelle. Chaque fois que vous appuyez brièvement sur la touche « PRÉCÉDENT » ou
« SUIVANT », la fréquence radio sera augmentée ou diminuée d'un incrément.
Comment mémoriser les stations radio :
2 méthodes sont possibles : les stations radio peuvent être mémorisées automatiquement ou
manuellement dans les stations préréglées.
Recherche et mémorisation automatique complète :
Appuyer brièvement sur la touche « A.STORE » (25) permet d'activer la recherche automatique des
stations radio et la fonction de mémorisation. Les stations radio disponibles seront automatiquement
mémorisées pour toutes les bandes.
Recherche et mémorisation manuelle :
Utilisez la touche « T.BAND » (18) pour faire défiler les bandes radio disponibles FM1 > FM2 > FM3
> MW1 > MW2
Utilisez la touche « PRÉCÉDENT » (15) pour rechercher une station radio dans les fréquences plus
basses ou la touche « SUIVANT » (16) pour la rechercher dans les fréquences plus hautes. (voir
chapitre précédent « Comment rechercher des stations radio »)
Une fois une station radio trouvée, il est possible de la mémoriser comme station préréglée :
Appuyer longuement sur la touche « PLAY/PAUSE » (13), pendant environ 3 secondes, permet
de mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 1 de la bande sélectionnée.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche « STOP » (14), pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de
mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 2 de la bande sélectionnée.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche « REPEAT » (17), pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de
mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 3 de la bande sélectionnée.
Appuyer longuement sur la touche « SHUFFLE » (24), pendant environ 3 secondes, permet de
mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 4 de la bande sélectionnée
Appuyer longuement sur la touche « FOLDERS/PRESETS - » (21), pendant environ 3 secondes,
permet de mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 5 de la bande
sélectionnée
Appuyer longuement sur la touche « FOLDERS/PRESETS + » (22), pendant environ 3 secondes,
permet de mémoriser la station radio actuelle comme station préréglée 6 de la bande
sélectionnée
Lecteur CD/USB/SD/SDHC :
Lecture simple ou lecture normale (continu) :
Appuyer longuement, pendant 3 secondes environ, permet de basculer entre les 2 modes de lecture
possibles :

VOOR HET GEBRUIK
Controleer het apparaat voordat u het in gebruik neemt op transportschade. Als er schade is, gebruik het
apparaat dan niet en raadpleeg eerst uw dealer.
Belangrijk: Dit apparaat verliet de fabriek in perfecte staat en goed verpakt. Het is absoluut noodzakelijk
dat de gebruiker de veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen in deze gebruiksaanwijzing strikt opvolgt.
Eventuele schade veroorzaakt door verkeerde behandeling valt niet onder de garantie. De dealer neemt
geen verantwoording voor eventuele fouten of problemen die worden veroorzaakt door het niet naleven
van deze gebruiksaanwijzing.
Bewaar dit boekje op een veilige plaats om het in de toekomst te kunnen raadplegen. Als u het armatuur
verkoopt, voeg dan deze gebruiksaanwijzing bij.
Probeer ter bescherming van het milieu het verpakkingsmateriaal zoveel mogelijk te recyclen.

VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:
Stel dit apparaat niet bloot aan regen of vocht, ter voorkoming van risico op brand of elektrische schokken.
Als het apparaat na transport in een warme ruimte wordt gebracht, wacht dan tot het is aangepast aan de
omgevingstemperatuur, om te voorkomen dat er binnen het apparaat condens wordt gevormd. Condens
kan soms verhinderen dat het apparaat op volle capaciteit werkt of kan zelfs schade veroorzaken.
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis.
Zorg ervoor dat er geen metalen voorwerpen of vloeistoffen in het apparaat terechtkomen. Er mogen geen
met vloeistoffen gevulde voorwerpen, zoals vazen, op dit apparaat worden geplaatst. Dit kan elektrische
schokken of storing veroorzaken. Als er voorwerpen van buitenaf in het apparaat terechtkomen, haal dan
onmiddellijk de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Plaats geen voorwerpen met open vuur, zoals brandende kaarsen, op het apparaat.
Bedek geen ventilatieopeningen, omdat dit tot oververhitting kan leiden.
Voorkom het gebruik in stoffige omgevingen en maak het apparaat regelmatig schoon.
Houd het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen.
Onervaren personen mogen dit apparaat niet bedienen.
De maximale veilige omgevingstemperatuur is 40 °C. Gebruik dit apparaat niet bij hogere
omgevingstemperaturen.
Houd minimaal 5cm afstand rond het apparaat vrij voor voldoende ventilatie.
Ontkoppel het apparaat altijd wanneer het voor langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt of voordat u er onderhoud
aan pleegt.
De elektrische installatie dient alleen door gekwalificeerd personeel en in overeenstemming met de
voorschriften voor elektrische en mechanische veiligheid in uw land te worden uitgevoerd.
Controleer of de beschikbare spanning niet hoger is dan aangegeven op het achterpaneel van het
apparaat.
Het stopcontact dient bereikbaar te blijven om het apparaat van het lichtnet te kunnen ontkoppelen.
Het netsnoer dient altijd in perfecte staat te zijn. Schakel het apparaat onmiddellijk uit als het netsnoer is
geplet of beschadigd. Het moet door de fabrikant, zijn vertegenwoordiger, of door een vergelijkbaar
bevoegde persoon worden vervangen, om gevaar te vermijden.
Laat het netsnoer nooit met andere kabels in contact komen!
Wanneer de voedingsschakelaar in de OFF-stand is geschakeld, is dit apparaat niet volledig van het
lichtnet afgesloten!
Open de afdekking niet, om elektrische schokken te voorkomen. Afgezien van de zekering bevinden er
zich geen door de gebruiker te onderhouden onderdelen in het apparaat.
Repareer nooit een zekering en overbrug nooit de zekeringhouder. Vervang een kapotte zekering altijd
met een zekering van hetzelfde type en met dezelfde elektrische specificaties!
Als er zich ernstige problemen voordoen met de werking van het apparaat, gebruik het dan niet en neem
onmiddellijk contact op met uw dealer.
Gebruik de originele verpakking als het apparaat dient te worden vervoerd.
Het is om veiligheidsredenen verboden om ongeautoriseerde modificaties aan het apparaat aan te
brengen.
CAUTION
LET OP: Verwijder de bovenste afdekking niet, om het risico
op elektrische schokken te verminderen. Er bevinden zich
geen door de gebruiker te repareren onderdelen in het
apparaat. Laat het onderhoud alleen door gekwalificeerd
onderhoudspersoneel uitvoeren.
De bliksemschicht met pijlpunt in een gelijkzijdige driehoek is bedoeld om de gebruiker te
waarschuwen voor de aanwezigheid van ongeïsoleerde "gevaarlijke spanning" binnen de
behuizing van het apparaat, die van voldoende omvang is om een risico op elektrische schokken
te vormen.
Het uitroepteken in een gelijkzijdige driehoek is bedoeld om de gebruiker te waarschuwen voor de
aanwezigheid van belangrijke gebruiks- en onderhouds- (reparatie) aanwijzingen in de
documentatie die bij dit apparaat is gevoegd.

RICHTLIJNEN VOOR DE INSTALLATIE:
Het voor langere tijd plaatsen en gebruiken van het apparaat in de buurt van warmtebronnen, zoals
versterkers, spots, enz., zal invloed hebben op de prestaties en kan zelfs het apparaat beschadigen.
Zorg ervoor om schokken en trillingen tijdens het vervoer tot het minimum te beperken.
Zorg er bij installatie in een cabine of flightcase voor goede ventilatie om de afvoer van warmte van het
apparaat te verbeteren.
Als het apparaat na transport in een warme ruimte wordt gebracht, wacht dan tot het is aangepast aan de
omgevingstemperatuur, om te voorkomen dat er binnen het apparaat condens wordt gevormd. Condens
verhindert soms dat het apparaat op volle capaciteit werkt.
Kies de plaats waar u de installatie plaatst zeer zorgvuldig. Vermijd de aanwezigheid van warmtebronnen.
Vermijd plaatsen met trillingen of stoffige en vochtige plaatsen.
De speler werkt normaal als hij wordt geïnstalleerd op een ondergrond met een helling van maximaal 15°.
Behandel CD's voorzichtig. Raak ze niet met natte of vuile handen aan.
Vuile discs moeten met een speciaal hiervoor ontworpen doek en schoonmaakmiddelen worden gereinigd.
Gebruik geen CD's die ernstig zijn beschadigd (gekrast of misvormd); zij kunnen uw apparaat
beschadigen.
Stel dit apparaat niet bloot aan regen of vocht, ter voorkoming van risico op brand of elektrische schokken.
Open de bovenste afdekking niet, om elektrische schokken te voorkomen. Neem contact op met uw dealer
als er zich een probleem voordoet.
Zorg dat er geen metalen voorwerpen of vloeistoffen in de speler terechtkomen. Dit kan elektrische
schokken of storing veroorzaken.
Deze speler gebruikt een halfgeleider laser. Om van uw muziek en een stabiele werking te genieten, wordt
het aanbevolen om hem in een ruimte met een temperatuur van 5°C –35°C te gebruiken.
Het apparaat mag uitsluitend door vakbekwaam onderhoudspersoneel worden afgesteld of gerepareerd.
Dit apparaat kan interferentie met radio- en televisieontvangst veroorzaken.
HET REINIGEN VAN DE SPELER:
Reinig het apparaat met een licht vochtige poetsdoek. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het apparaat
terechtkomt. Gebruik geen vluchtige vloeistoffen zoals benzeen of thinner, omdat die het apparaat
beschadigen.
HET AANSLUITEN VAN HET APPARAAT
1. Lichtnetaansluiting met IEC-aansluiting en geïntegreerde zekeringhouder: sluit hier het meegeleverde
netsnoer op aan. Repareer nooit een zekering en overbrug nooit de zekeringhouder. Vervang een
kapotte zekering altijd door een zekering van dezelfde soort en met dezelfde elektrische specificaties
(T 500 mA / 250 V)
2. Ingangsconnector 24 V gelijkspanning: kan worden gebruikt om (indien nodig) de noodstroomvoorziening
aan te sluiten
3. RS-232-connector: kan worden gebruikt om het apparaat via externe hardware te bedienen, zodat het
apparaat kan worden geïntegreerd in geautomatiseerde systemen, enz. U treft de lijst met commando's
aan op de laatste pagina van deze handleiding.
4. Variabele audio-uitgang: Deze gecombineerde uitgang verzendt het audiosignaal van de CD-speler,
de USB- of SD-mediaspeler en de tuner.
5. Vaste audio-uitgang CD/MEDIA: Deze uitgang verzendt alleen het audiosignaal van de CD-speler en
de USB- of SD-mediaspeler. Hij bevat geen audiosignaal van de tuner. Dit betekent dat u 2 bronnen
gelijktijdig kunt gebruiken (voor toepassingen met meerdere zondes) en het signaal van de CD- of
USB/SD-mediaspeler naar een ruimte of zone kunt sturen, terwijl het audiosignaal van de tuner naar een
andere ruimte of zone kan worden gestuurd.
6. Vaste audio-uitgang tuner: Deze uitgang verzendt alleen het audiosignaal van de tuner. Hij omvat
geen audiosignaal van de CD-speler en de USB- of SD-mediaspeler. Dit betekent dat u 2 bronnen
gelijktijdig kunt gebruiken (voor toepassingen met meerdere zondes) en het signaal van de CD- of
USB/SD-mediaspeler naar een ruimte of zone kunt sturen, terwijl het audiosignaal van de tuner naar een
andere ruimte of zone kan worden gestuurd.
7. 75 Ohm antenneaansluiting: kan worden gebruikt om de meegeleverde FM-antenne (of een andere
FM-antenne) aan te sluiten
8. 300 Ohm antenneaansluiting: kan worden gebruikt om een AM-antenne aan te sluiten

BEDIENINGSORGANEN EN FUNCTIES
9. Functie draai-/druk-toets: Deze knop heeft 3 verschillende functies:
Draai aan de knop om het uitgangsniveau van de speler te wijzigen
Druk kort op de knop om tussen de verschillende spelers te wisselen: Radio, CD, USB en SD/SDHC
Houdt te knop ongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt om te wisselen tussen de 2 beschikbare
weergavemodi:
ENKEL AFSPELEN: als u op de knop afspeelknop drukt wordt er slechts 1 nummer afgespeeld.
De speler stopt aan het eind van ieder nummer en wacht aan het begin van het volgende
nummer.
NORMAAL AFSPELEN: de volledige CD of USB-opslag wordt zonder onderbrekingen
afgespeeld.
10. LCD-scherm: Toont alle belangrijk informatie die tijdens het afspelen nodig is.
11. Sleuf voor laden disc: schuif een te laden CD voorzichtig in de sleuf, met de bedrukte kant naar boven.
Als de CD halverwege is, wordt hij automatisch naar binnen getrokken. Duw de CD niet met geweld in
de sleuf, , omdat dit het mechanisme kan beschadigen! Gebruik uitsluitend CD’s met standaard
afmetingen (Ø = 12 cm). Gebruik nooit mini-CD’s, zowel met als zonder adapter!
12. Uitwerptoets: druk deze toets om de ingevoerde CD uit te werpen.
13. AFSPELEN/PAUZE-toets:
In de CD-, USB- of SD/SDHC-modus: iedere keer dat u op de PLAY/PAUZE-toets drukt, schakelt de
speler van afspelen naar pauze of van pauze naar afspelen.
In de AM/FM-radiomodus: houd de knop gedurende ongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt om het huidige
station als voorkeuzestation 1 van de geselecteerde band op te slaan.
14. STOPPEN-toets:
In CD-, USB- of SD/SDHC-modus: Druk deze toets om het afspelen van het huidige nummer te
stoppen en terug te keren naar het allereerste nummer op de media-ondersteuning.
In de AM/FM-radiomodus: houd de knop ingedrukt om het huidige station als voorkeuzestation 2 van
de geselecteerde band op te slaan.
15. VORIGE-toets:
In CD-, USB- of SD/SDHC-modus: deze toets heeft 2 functies:
Druk kort op de toets om naar het beginpunt van het nummer te gaan. Als u meerder keren op de
toets drukt, kunt u naar vorige nummers springen.
Houd de toets ingedrukt om achteruit door het nummer te navigeren
In AM/FM-radiomodus:
Druk kort op de toets om de Auto Seek (automatisch zoeken) modus te activeren. De tuner zoekt
naar het volgende sterke radiosignaal door de frequenties neerwaarts te doorlopen.
Houd de toets gedurende ongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt: de tuner gaat naar de modus Manual
Seek (handmatig zoeken). Iedere keer dat u kort op dezelfde toets drukt wordt de frequentie met
een stap verlaagd. Met de VOLGENDE-toets kunt u de frequentie met een stap verhogen. Als de
VORIGE- of VOLGENDE-toetsen gedurende enige tijd niet worden gebruikt, keert de tuner terug
naar zijn initiële modus Auto Seek voor uw volgende commando's.
16. VOLGENDE-toets:
In CD-, USB- of SD/SDHC-modus: deze toets heeft 2 functies:
Druk kort op de toets om naar het volgende nummer te gaan.
Houd de toets ingedrukt om vooruit door het huidige nummer te navigeren
In AM/FM-radiomodus:
Druk kort op de toets om de Auto Seek (automatisch zoeken) modus te activeren. De tuner zoekt
naar het volgende sterke radiosignaal door de frequenties opwaarts te doorlopen.
Houd de toets gedurende ongeveer 3 seconden ingedrukt: de tuner gaat naar de modus Manual
