USER’S MANUAL
WARNING：
1. To ensure performance, do not let the pump work dry.
2. Keep the controller at a dry place. Avoid water splashes on it.
3. Be careful when assembling the magnet base. Move parallel the magnet base
parallel the pad close to the outside wall of fish tank to prevent breaking the fish tank.
4. Do not disassemble the controller or adaptor without professional guidance.

I. Introduction
Jebao wave makers are well designed as a good
equipment to stimulate the natural sea environment by
high technology, which offers a natural environment for
different sea livings in the fish tank or in the pond.
Before assembling and operating correctly, please read
the manual carefully.
II.Function Feature：
●Unique control system allows to wave of different types
and multiple function, which can achieve different wave
patterns as desired.
●Wireless controllers allow synchronize operation among
wave makers. One main controller can remote control the
slave-controllers.
●Low voltage DC electronic pump with variable

frequency provides a safe environment for user.
●Easy operation to achieve the multiple sea moving.
●Flow direction can be adjusted by different modes
needed.
●Hotspot(AP direct control function), which allows short
distance wireless control by mobile phone without Wi-Fi
network
●Large range of voltage input (AC100~240V 50/60Hz)
allows to operate in various power system and prevent
the impact on waves.
III. Assembly Notice
1. Suitable for different size of fish tank, the tank
thickness of less than 15mm would be better.
2. Accessies: include wireless controller, adaptor, power
cable, pipe connector, user’s manual.
3. Pump assemble: Take away the magnet at the back of
the pump basket, locate the pump in the center of the
fish tank inside and suck it closely by the rubber pad

and shift the magnet slant to the same position on the
outside wall. Take care of your fingers to be clamped
because of the strong magnetism of magnet.
4. Controller install, there is a hole to hang on the
controller at any place in convenient.
5. Connect the pump with the 3-pin connection wire.
Connect the adaptor plug with the controller and
connect AC wire adaptor.

IV. Operation and Function
A. Button and Knob
:Press short to enter feeding mode, and press long to shut down.
:Short press to select each function mode.Long press to
enter frequency adjustment mode.

:Press the button to set Master control, Slave control or operate
individually.Long press to select distribution mode.
/:After entering the frequency adjustment mode, the period
can be adjusted; Adjust the power; Press and hold the double keys
at the same time to exit the timing mode; Press and hold the double
key at the same time to enter the screen saver brightness level
mode." "adjusts the normal brightness." "adjusts the brightness
of the screen saver.
B. Function Description
Wireless controller is defined to allow operation without the wire
among the wave makers.
Master Control: Press “Wi-Fi” once and enter to the Master
control model, the screen shows "M". Master controller can
operate all the function.
Slave Control: Press “Wi-Fi” until the screen shows "S" and enter
into Slave mode, where the controller function is invalid except
adjusting flow rate by the button.
Among two or more wave makers in a group, set one controller as
the Master control and the other as Slave control. All the pumps
will keep the same performance through adjusting the Master
controller.

C. Introduction of each mode
W1: Classic Wave Mode
Remoting the button is necessary when operate this mode to adjust
the wave patterns among one or more pumps at the same time. As
the volume of water in tank is different from the tank capacity,
wave period need to be adjusted by switching the button. The wave
is the biggest when wave length turn to be same as the length of
the tank.
W2: Sine Wave Mode
One or more pumps can operate at the same time in this mode. The
flow rate various between 30%-100% and the regulation looks like
a sine curve.
Else: Random Wave Mode
One or more pumps can operate at the same time. It is a random
mode of the pump power changed in a random data all the time
without regulation.
H: Constant Wave Mode
One or more pumps can operate at the same time. In constant flow.
wave period can be adjusted by “ / ”.
C: Shift to flow Mode
Two pumps are needed to be operated at the same time, when they

shift wave and flow in alternately. P1 work, P2 stop; P2 work, P1
stop alternately.
Feed Mode Function
Short press the “ ” button, the pump stops working for 10
minutes and allow the fish to eat for 10 min. the pump recover
work automatically after 10 min. If need to return back to work
during feeding, just short press the “ ” button return back to
work .

V. Wi-Fi Icon
and Wi-Fi Button Instruction
●Explanation of Wi-Fi Icon
A. Wi-Fi icon flashes while the Pump is on smart configuration
mode.
B. Wi-Fi with AP icon flashing while the Pump is on AP
configuration mode and AP direct connection mode.
C. Wi-Fi icons are often displayed when the Pump is connected to
the cloud server.
D. Wi-Fi icon is not displayed when the Pump is disconnected to
the cloud server.

●Wi-Fi Button Instruction
A.Turn on the power supply or press the Wi-Fi key for about 5
seconds to enter the intelligent distribution network state.
B.Long press the Wi-Fi button for about 5 seconds, and the Wi-Fi
with AP icon flashes to enter into the AP configuration mode
and AP direct connection mode.
C.Wi-Fi icon is often displayed after connection.
VI.APP Download and Instruction
1. Download
The APP name “Jebao Aqua”, is available in App Store for
Apple users and Google Play for Android system users. User can
search “Jebao Aqua” in either APP Store or Google Play to
download the application. Alternately user can scan the below
barcode on the package or user’s manual to download the
application. (Note: Scan function in certain countries or areas may
not be able to read the barcode properly.)

2.User registration, login and password reset
2.1 Account registration
①Open Jebao Aqua App and tap Create new account;
②Fill in the information as required and tap Create account；
③After registration, return to the login page and put the
account and password to log in.

Note: please use Email to register, Phone number registration is
valid for mainland China only.
2.2 Reset Password
Tap “Forget Password” on the login page. Input your email
address and tap Send link. Check your email and follow the
instructions to reset your password.

VII. App Instructions
1. Add new pump
Tap Add Now or “+” icon on the upper right side to add your
devices, tap “Wave Pump” icon .
Tap My Devices.

Configuration mode: Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4G
band Wi-Fi before configuration. There are two types of
configuration modes, Smart configuration and AP configuration
modes. Choose one mode to link your device.
①Smart Configuration: After the device is powered on, the
Wi-Fi sign on the upper left of the controller screen flashes, and
the device enters the intelligent distribution network mode.
Check the sentence “Device is in smart configuration mode “and

tap “Next” to start smart configuration.
Follow the instructions. Input the correct Wi-Fi password and tap
“Next”
Make sure your device, phone, and router are as close as possible

during the configuration progress. The page will display all the
devices. Choose the device you want to add and tap on the device
name, then tap Confirm to add.
Tap “Start” to start using your device.
②AP Configuration：Press Wi-Fi button for about 5 seconds
then Wi-Fi with AP logo flashes at the top left of the screen，The
Device come into the AP configuration mode.

Tap “AP Network “in the upper right corner of the Add device page
to enter into AP configuration.
Check the sentence “Device is in AP configuration mode “ and tap
“Next”

Input the Wi-Fi password and tap Next.
Note: Due to different operating system, IOS and Android will be
different in operation in the following details.
A. IOS System：After entering the Wi-Fi password, you need to
switch the Wi-Fi of the phone to "Jebao_WiFi-xxxx",as below.

Tap “Go to settings”

Tap “Settings” in the upper left corner to enter the mobile phone
settings page.
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to Jebao_WiFi-xxxx” with
password 123456789.

After successful connection, tap Jebao Aqua on the upper left
corner to return to the APP.
The configuration starts automatically. Tap Start to control the
device after the device has been added successfully.
