safety. However, any machine usedimproperly can be
renderedinefficientandunsafe. It is absolutely
mandatorythat those whouse ourproductsbe
properly trained in how to use them correctly. They
shouldreadandunderstandtheOperatingInstructions
and Parts Manual as well as all labels affixed to the
machine. Failurein following all ofthese warningscan
causeserious injuries.
Machinery General Safety Warnings
- Misuse of this machine can cause serious injury.
-For safety, machine must be set up, used and
servicedproperly.
-Read,understandand followinstructions inthe
OperatingInstructionsandPartsManual which
wasshippedwithyour machine.
When Setting up Machine:
-Alwaysavoid using machineindamp or poorly
lighted work areas.
-Always be sure the machine support is se-
curely anchored to the floor or the work bench.
When Using Machine:
-Always wear safety glasses with side shields
(SeeANSI Z87.1)
-Neverwearlooseclothing or jewelry.
-Neveroverreach-youmayslipandfall.
When Servicing Machine:
-Always disconnect the machine from its electri-
cal supply while servicing.

9. Maintain all machine tools with care. Follow

turningmachineon.
15. Use the right tool. Don’t force a tool or attach-
ment to do a job it was not designed for.

followmanufacturersinstructionspertainingto
them.
17.Keep hands in sightandclear of all moving
parts and cuttingsurfaces.
18.All visitors should be kept at a safe distance
fromthe work area. Maketheworkshop com-
pletely safe by using padlocks, master
switches, or by removing starter keys.
19. Know the tool you are using - its application,
limitations, and potential hazards.

operating machinery. Eye wear shall be
impactresistant,protective safetyglasses with
side shields which comply withANSI Z87.1
specifications. Use of eye wear which does
notcomply withANSIZ87.1specifications
couldresultinsevere injury from breakage of
eyeprotection.
2. Wearproperapparel. Noloose clothing or
jewelrywhich can getcaught inmovingparts.

bestfooting.
3. Do not overreach. Failure to maintainproper
working position can cause you to fall into the
machine or cause your clothing to get caught
pullingyou into themachine.
4. Keepguardsinplaceand in proper working
order. Do not operate the machine with guards
removed.
5. Avoiddangerousworkingenvironments. Do
not use stationary machine tools in wet or
damplocations. Keepworkareas clean and
well lit.
6. Avoid accidental starts by being sure the start
switch is OFF before plugging in the ma-
chine.
7. Neverleavethemachinerunning while unat-
tended. Machine shall be shut off whenever it
isnot in operation.
