1. Product general description
Front light
Thank you for purchasing JY-8050 series
Bicycle Light Device.
This user manual has been specially designed
to guide you through the functions and features
of the device.
Mode: High beam(3 LEDs)-Medium beam(2
LEDs)-Low beam(1 LED)–Flashing-Off
(Both the button at the back of light and the
button on the controller could change the
mode: short press the button to change the
mode; Press and hold the button for 2
seconds to turn off the light from any mode)
Approximately operating times:
2 hours with high beam
3 hours with medium beam
6 hours with low beam
4 hours with flashing mode.

Rear light
Remote controller
Mode: Steady-Flashing-Eco Flashing (Short
press the button on the controller to change
the mode; Press and hold the button for 2
seconds to turn off the light from any mode)
Function memory: when reopen, the function
will continue the one used by last time
Two control button: one is for front light and
the other one is for rear light
Two indicator: battery connected indicator
and rear light mode status indicator
Charging time: 5.5-6 hours
Waterproof grade: IPX4
High efficiency orange peel reflector
6061-T6 Aluminum alloy body, anodized
anti-abrasive finish
Easy mount rubber rings(front light) and
rubber belt(rear light)

Automatic shift function: the brightness will
be shifted to low beam if the temperature of
the device exceeds the safety temperature.
On that case, the mode will not change even
pressing the button. The mode would return
to normal when the temperature of the
device is lower than the safety temperature.
Normally, the safety temperature would not
be exceeded during riding because of the
cooling system.
4 stage fuel gauge show the current battery
capacity

Bule -- 75~50%
Yellow -- 50~25%
Red -- 25~5%
Flashing Red -- 5% to Off

Batteries lifespan: 500 cycles of charging
and discharging
The battery capacity will fall by less than
10% after 500 cycles of charging and
discharging.
Certifications: CE,UL,TUV,PSE
Includes a small protection circuit board with
over-charge, over-discharge and short-circuit
protection function

4. Operation of charging
The battery has been partially charged at the
factory. When charging is needed, please do as
follows:
Red- charging Green- fully charged
Connect the charger to the battery
Connect the charger to a wall outlet

5. JY-8050 series Components
Your package includes the following items:
(1) Front light
(2) Remote controller
(3) Rear light
(4) 7.4V/6600mAh battery pack
(5) Charger
(6) Front light extension cable(40CM)
Rear light extension cable(61CM)
(7) O-rings (2 PCS)
(8) Velcro strap for cable management
(9) Helmet elastic strap mount (Optional)

When using the helmet mount for the light, the
battery is designed to be carried in a jacket
pocket or a back pack, and do not connect a
helmet mounted light to a bike mounted battery.

6. Assembling
(a) put the O-ring on the front light
(b)Fit the front light on the handlebar with the
O-ring
(c) Mount the rear light to the seat post

(e) Fix the remote controller to the handlebar
(d)Wind the strap to the tube and make sure
the battery is tightly fastened

(f) Connect the cables of the front light and the
remote controller
Connect the cables of the rear light and the
remote controller
Connect the cables of the battery and the
remote controller
Please use the Velcro strap to protect the
wire from kinking or to keep it bound to the
tube
Please use the extension cable if necessary

7. Warning
Read instructions carefully before use. Failure
to comply with the safety instructions may lead
to damage to the charge and\or batteries and
may cause serious injury to the user or other
person.
Keep out of reach of children
Do not stare at the light source or point the
light against other people’s eyes, as the
powerful light may cause unexpected
eye-injury
Do not make the battery or the charger
short-circuit
New batteries must be fully charged before
they are used for the first time.
Keep the charge in a dry place. Indoor use
only
Do not use the device while charging or
touch your device with wet hands

Do not drop or cause an impact to the
charger or the battery, and never Never
crush or puncture the battery
Do not charge the battery with chargers that
are not approved by the manufacturer
Never dispose of batteries or devices in a fire
Never place batteries or devices on or in
heating devices, such as microwave ovens,
stoves, or radiators. Batteries may explode
when overheated.
Do not touch the body of the light when the
light is turned on. The body of the light could
be overheated.
Battery must be stored in a dry, low tempera-
ture place for long-term storage
Always store the batteries fully charged
Do not touch the liquid if the battery is
leaking. If contacted, get medical help right
away.
Prevent batteries from contacting metal
items, as this can create a connection

between the + and – terminals of the device
and lead to temporary or permanent battery
damage
To ensure proper functioning of the charge,
keep the battery pack and charger free from
dust & dirt. To clean the charger, disconnect
it from the power supply and use a dry cloth
only. Do not attempt to open the charger.
8. Suggestion
We recommend that light head and battery
pack should be separated for long-term
storage
We recommend that the batteries should be
charged every half a year to prevent over
discharge during long-term storage
