BASIC FEATURES
Thumb latch. Slide toward rear of unit to unlatch door. Door will latch on closing.
Lock (2 keys provided). Key can be removed in locked or open position.
An additional USB port is provided for your convenience.
Computer input (USB cable included).
Power input (AC cable included).
TO GET GOING
Connect handheld devices (up to 10) to USB ports in VaultPod10 using interface cables (included).
Place the handheld in the foam support cradle. A small service loop in the cable is recommended.
Connect AC power to VaultPod10 using cable supplied.
iPods can charge without syncing.
The charge sync process can all take place whether the lid is open or closed.
An LED corresponding to each connected device will glow green, indicating that the device is properly
connected. The LED changes to orange while the device is charging. Once the device reaches full charge, the
LED returns to green color.
One red LED indicates that power is applied whenever the AC power is connected.
Connection to computer for syncing devices is made by connecting a standard USB cable between a USB port
on a computer to the USB port on the VaultPod10.
A green LED illuminates when a VaultPod10 is connected to the computer.
Multiple VaultPod10 can be connected to a computer,
each utilizing a separate computer USB hub.

Multiple VaultPod10 sync mode:
Windows based laptops have a limit to the number of hubs that can be connected to an individual USB port.
Performance of data transfer from a PC to USB devices is proportional to the number of devices connected to the
USB port on the PC.
For optimum performance, only one VaultPod10 should be connected to each USB port of a computer. This allows
syncing of up to 10 devices, per USB port, on the computer.
Multiple VaultPod10 can be connected to a computer, depending on available USB ports on a computer for
maximum number of devices to be simultaneously recognized.
VaultPod10 units should be connected directly to the USB port on the computer.
Avoid connecting to USB hubs.
Automatic switching sync mode
The devices connected inside the VaultPod10 will automatically reset and change modes from "charge mode" to
"sync/charge mode". After interconnecting USB interface to a computer, all devices will reset and switch to charge
mode. Disconnecting USB interface resets all devices and returns them to charge mode.
Continuous connection:
Devices can remain connected to VaultPod10 continuously. The sync and/or charge process will continue regardless of
whether the cover is open or closed.
