Getting to know Chef StationTM
Using the salad spinner
Basic setup
1. Attach the handle by sliding into the slot on the back of the
bowl, ensuring that the button on top clicks firmly into place.
2. Make sure the spout guard is in place behind the spout – this
will prevent food or liquid spitting out of the spout while you
whip, chop or spin.
3. Select either the spinner basket, whisking paddle or the chopping
blades and place over the turning axis. Be careful when
handling the blade attachment as the edges are very sharp.
4. Place your ingredients inside.
5. Place the lid over the bowl and turn clockwise until it is firmly
fixed in place.
6. Place the turning handle on to the handle axis securely. Make
sure the egg separator is fixed in position above the separator
funnel before you start.
7. Use Chef StationTM by grabbing the handle on the bowl with one hand, or, if chopping, by placing you
hand flat on top of the lid directly under the turning handle. Use your other hand to turn the turning
handle; start slowly, then gradually increase speed.
Make sure the egg separator is firmly in place throughout or your ingredients may spill out.
You can also add ingredients to Chef StationTM at any time by removing the separator and pouring into
the funnel beneath.
1. Place the chopping blades over the turning axis and drop
your ingredients into the bowl. Be very careful when
handling the chopping blades, as they are very sharp.
2. Fix on the lid and the turning handle.
3. The blades have two different edges, a flat cutting edge,
which is great for simple smooth chopping, or a serrated
edge, which is better for tougher food and crushing ice.
When using Chef StationTM to chop, use one hand to turn the
turning handle and use the other to hold down the lid. When
you start chopping, move the handle from side to side a few
times first before using full rotations, as this will make
chopping smoother and easier.
4. When you have finished, unfasten the lid by turning
anti-clockwise and then lifting off.
5. Remove the blade BEFORE tipping out your ingredients
to prevent any risk of an accident.
