Denna instruktionsbok för liftdumper i Joab:s TL-SERIE vill informera Dig om hur Du
manövrerar denna för att erhålla optimal säkerhet, funktion, livslängd och ekonomi.
Instruktionsboken vill ge Dig kännedom om hur Du smörjer, servar och utför enklare
reparationer på Din liftdumper.
Vi på JOAB förbehåller oss rätten att ändra innehållet i denna instruktionsbok utan
föregående information.
Lycka till med Din nya liftdumper.
PREFACE
This manual for the Skiploader in Joab:s TL-SERIES will inform you how to operate
the Skip Loader to obtain maximum safety, life and economy.
The manual will instruct you how to lubricate, serve and perform simpler repairs on
your Skip Loader.
JOAB reserves the right to change the components of this manual without prior
information.
Good luck with your new Skip Loader.

ANVÄNDNINGSOMRÅDE
•TL8 liften är avsedda att monteras på 2-axlade chassier.
•Du kan med TL8 enkelt hantera stora containrar ända upp till 12 m
3
.
•Liftdumpern är avsedd att hantera liftdumpercontainer enl SS3020.
AREA OF USAGE
•The Skip Loaders TL8 are intended for assembly on 2 axle chassis.
•With TL8 big containers up to 15 m3 can be handled.
•The Skip Loader is designed for handling of Skip Loader containers due to
SS 3020.

TRANSPORT - INSTALLATION – MONTERING
•När Du mottager Din liftdumper förvissa Dig om att den är i oskadat och
funktionsdugligt skick. Om inte, kontakta Din leverantör av liftdumpern, eller oss på
JOAB.
Kontrollera att inte eventuell blästring har skadat elektriska detaljer, pneumatik
eller hydrauliksystemet.
Kontrollera att ingen målarfärg eller maskeringstape finns mellan de rörliga
delarna, t.ex. på kolvstänger
•Om Du skall montera Din liftdumper själv, måste Du tänka på att du har den
”påbyggarkunskap” som krävs. Tänk på att en modern lastbil har mycket
elektronik, pneumatik samt inte minst hydraulik. Även för eventuell svetsning och
själva monteringen fodras fackkunskap.
Om du monterar Din liftdumper själv så förutsätter vi att Du har denna kunskap,
annat fall överlåt arbetet till en kunnig verkstad på detta område.
•Eftermontering av utrustning, ex. hydraulisk, pneumatisk, elutrustning som kan
påverka komponenter/påbyggnad som är monterad av JOAB skall utföras på ett
fackmannamässigt sätt. Detta för att kunna säkerställa funktion på utrustning
monterad vid leverans av JOAB. Ex. eftermontering av plogutrustning – rätt
dimensioner på slangar och ventiler. Komplettering av belysningsutrustning –
säkringskapacitet. Placering av utrustning – får inte försvåra service och
reparationsmöjlighet
.
•Alla JOAB:s produkter är CE-godkända.
Tänk på att om du monterar själv måste Du själv CE-märka den del som Du har
gjort. När monteringen av liftdumpern är klar skall Du provköra liftdumpern.
Prova först utan last och kör alla moment och rörelser som liftdumpern skall utföra.
Därefter kan Du köra med container och last.
•Var noga med alla säkerhetsdetaljer.
•
Vid minsta problem eller om Du är osäker kontakta Din leverantör eller oss på
JOAB.

TRANSPORT DAMAGES – INSTALLATION – ASSEMBLY
•When you receive your Skip Loader please make sure that it is in an undamage
and working condition.
Should that not be the case, contact your supplier of the Skip Loader or us in
JOAB.
Check that any blasting has not damaged any electrical parts, pneumatics or the
hydraulic system.
Check that there is no paint between the moving parts, for instance on the piston
rod.
•If you are going to assembly your Skip Loader yourself, please consider that this
requires ” building-up skill”. Consider that a modern truck contains a lot of
electronics, pneumatics and, not least, hydraulics. Also for any welding and the
assembly itself, expert knowledge is required.
If you intend to do the assembly yourself, we take it that you do have the skills
required, otherwise please let an expert workshop do the work for you.
•Supplementary mounting of equipment, ex. Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical
equipment which can interfere in components/superstructure mounted by JOAB
should be done in a professional way. It is for certifying the function of equipment
mounted at the time of delivery from JOAB. Ex. Supplementary mounting of ploug
– right dimensions on hoses and valves. Supplementary mounting of
lightequipment – fuse capacity. Placement of equipment – is not aloud to interfere
in service and repair possibilities.
•All JOAB products are CE-approved.
Please remember that if you assembly yourself, you have to CE-approve the
complete superstructure. The documentation concerning Joab hooklift, which you
need for your CE-approval is delivered together with the hooklift.
Upon completion of the assembly, the Skip Loader has to be test run.
Test firstly without load and run all the movements that the Skip Loader has to
perform.
Thereafter you can test with platform and load.
•Please be careful with all safety details.
•If you have any problem, however small, or if you are unsure, contact your
supplier or us in JOAB.

VIKTIGT!
•Läs denna manual innan Du använder Liftdumpern.
•Innan Du använder Din Liftdumper för första gången, bör Du prova den ”för Dig
själv”, så att Du är väl insatt i hur den fungerar.
•Det är viktigt att Du alltid försäkrar Dig om att Liftdumperns stödben står på stabil
mark när Du lyfter containern, eftersom chassiet annars inte får det stöd det
behöver vid tunga lyft.
•Tänk på att Liftdumperns höjd varierar efter hur Du har armarna, så att Du inte
t.ex. kör i viadukt eller el-ledning.
•Vistas aldrig under hängande last.
•Beakta de stora krafter som är i rörelse när Du hanterar Liftdumpern.
•Knuffa eller kläm aldrig last med lyftarmarna, eftersom dessa ej är beräknade för
detta.
IMPORTANT!
•Read this manual before using the Skip Loader.
•Before using the Skip Loader for the first time, you should test it "on your own" so
that you know well how it works.
•It is important to ensure that the Skip Loader support legs are on stable ground
when lifting the container since otherwise the chassis will not get the support it
requires for heavy lifts.
•Bear in mind that the height of the Skip Loader varies with the position of the
arms so that there is no collision in a viaduct or against electric wiring.
•NEVER place yourself under hanging load.
•Remember that big forces are at large when you handle the Skip Loader.
•Never jog or clamp loads with the lift arms.These may be easily damaged.

VARNING!
OBSERVERA ALLTID FÖRE MANÖVRERING AV LIFTDUMPERN
•KONTROLLERA att INGEN befinner sig i liftdumperns arbetsområde då
denna manövreras. RISKOMRÅDE 8 M.
•Försäkra Dig om att markunderlaget är fast vid av och pålastning av
containern och att markplanet inte lutar i sidled vid tippning p.g.a.
vältningsrisken. MAX 2°

•Manövrera inte lastbilen med liftdumpern i upplyftat läge p.g.a. risken att
kollidera med luftburna elledningar eller liknande. Dessutom är risken stor för
bl.a. vältning.
•Tippa inte eller lasta på eller av lastbäraren utan att stödben är nerkörda mot
marken.
ATTENTION!
TO BE ALWAYS OBSERVED BEFORE MANOEUVRING OF THE
SKIP LOADER!
•Make sure that nobody is in the working area of the Skip Loader when it is
manoeuvred. SAFETY AREA 8 M.
•Because of the tip-over risk, make sure that the ground is firm at off- and on-
loading of the carrier and that the ground does not slope sideways at tipping.

•Because of the risk for collision with airbourne power cables or similar, do not
manoeuvre the truck with the Skip Loader in the elevated position. Besides,
the risk for a.o. Tip-over is then considerable.
•Do not tip or load on or off the carrier without lowering support legs against the
ground.

FÖRE ANVÄNDNING
•Läs manualen noggrant.
•Tillse att Liftdumpern är smord enligt instruktion, och titta i nivåfönstret på
hydraulojetanken för att se att det finns rätt mängd hydraulolja i tanken.
•Kontrollera Dig själv, om att Du är väl medveten om Liftdumperns arbetssätt.
BEFORE USAGE
•Read the Manual carefully.
•Make sure that the Skip Loader is lubricated according to Manual and look at the
level the right amount of oil in the reservoir.
•Test yourself and check that you are certain and well aware how to operate the
Skip Loader.

SÅ HÄR ANVÄNDER DU DIN LIFTDUMPER
ATT LYFTA UPP CONTAINERN
•Kontrollera att det inte finns någon eller något i eller kring arbetsområdet.
•Backa intill containern, se till att Du hamnar mitt för och parallellt med den.
•Drag åt handbromsen.
•Lägg i- koppla i kraftuttaget.
•Kör ut båda stödbenen tills du ser att de har tagit mark ordentligt.
•Kör bak hävarmarna tills du bedömer att det är tillräckligt för att koppla på
lyftplattorna.
•Justera med teleskoparmarna så att kedjorna hänger i centrum av containern.
•Koppla på lyftplattorna.
•Kör in hävarmscylindrarna för att lyfta upp containern justera så att den går fri ifrån
liftdumperns bakkant med hjälp av teleskopcylindrarna.
•Ställ ner containern på flaket.
•Försök att alltid ha hävarmscylindrarna helt indragna, justera med
teleskopcylindrarna.
•Övertyga dig om att containern är ordentligt förankrad på flaket.
•Om nödvändigt surra eller täck över containern, för att förhindra att något ramlar
av då medtraffikanter eller miljö kan skadas.
•Kör in båda stödbenen till sina övre ändlägen.
•Lägg ur- koppla ur kraftuttaget.
•Släpp handbromsen.

THAT'S HOW YOU USE YOUR SKIP LOADER
TO LIFT THE CONTAINER
•Check that there is no one or nothing in or around the working area.
•Back up to the container, make sure that you are right in front of it.
•Engage the power take off.
•Engage the handbrake.
•Pull out both support legs until you see that they are safely in contact with the
ground.
•Move back the lift arms until you reach the container with the lifting chains.
•Adjust with the telescopic arms so that the chains are in the centre of the
container.
•Engage the lift plates.
•Engage the lift arm cylinders so that the container is clear from the back edge of
the Skip Loader , adjust with help of the telescopic arms.
•Put the container on the platform.
•Try to have the lever arm cylinders always totally pulled back, adjust with the
telescopic arms.
•Make sure that the container is well anchored on the platform.
•If necessary, strop or cover the container to avoid something falling off and
damaging fellow road-users or environment..
•Pull up both support legs to their upper end positions.
•Disengage the power take off.
•Release the handbrake.

SÅ HÄR ANVÄNDER DU DIN LIFTDUMPER
ATT STÄLLA AV CONTAINERN
•Stanna fordonet och dra åt handbromsen.
•Lägg i- koppla i kraftuttaget.
•Kontrollera att det inte finns någon eller något i eller kring Liftdumperns
arbetsområde eller där containern skall placeras.
•Kör ut båda stödbenen tills du ser att de har tagit mark ordentligt.
•Kör ut hävarmscylindrarna tills containern tar mark och lite till så att Du får det
slack i kättingarna som behövs för att lossa lyftplattorna, justera så att containern
inte tar i någonstans på vägen med teleskopcylindrarna.
•Lossa lyftplattorna och häng upp dem på lyftarmarna.
•Kör in häv och teleskopcylindrarna till sina bottenlägen.
•Kör in stödbenen till sina övre ändlägen.
•Lägg ur- koppla ur kraftuttaget
•Släpp handbromsen.

THAT'S HOW YOU USE YOUR SKIP LOADER
TO UNLOAD A CONTAINER.
•Stop the vehicle and engage the handbrake.
•Engage the power take off.
•Check that there is no one or nothing in or around the working area of the Skip
Loader or where the container is to be placed
•Pull out both support legs until you see that they are safely in contact with the
ground.
•Engage the lift arm cylinders until the container stands on the ground and so
that the slack in the chains is achieved ,necessary to release the lift plates.
Adjust with the telescopic arm cylinders so that the container goes clear on its
way down.
•Disengage the lift plates and hang them on their hang hooks.
•Pull back the lever arm and fold arm cylinders to their bottom positions.
•Pull back the support legs in upper position.
•Disengage the power take off.
•Release the handbrake.

SÅ HÄR ANVÄNDER DU DIN LIFTDUMPER
ATT TIPPA CONTAINERN
•Stanna fordonet och drag åt handbromsen.
•Lägg i kraftuttaget.
•Kontrollera att containerns tippaxel är i gott skick, eftersom en knäckt axel kan få
allvarliga konsekvenser.
•Kontrollera att det inte finns någon eller något i arbetsområdet eller där tippningen
sker.
•Kör ut båda stödbenen tills du ser att de har tagit mark ordentligt.
•Slå upp tippkroken med strömställaren.Spärra tippkroken.
•Försäkra dig om att tippkroken greppat axeln i containerns tippkrokslåda.
•Kör ut häv- och teleskopcylindrarna tills tillräcklig tippning erhållits, OBS!
inte så långt att containern tar i marken. När tippkroken är sträckt, använd
inte teleskopcylindrarna, Du kan då dra sönder tippkrok eller tippaxeln på
containern.
•När tippningen är klar kör in cylindrarna tills containern är något ovan flaket.
•Om Liftdumpern är utrustad med JOABs säkerhetstippkrok, öppna tippkrokslåset
genom att ställa tippkroksmanövervredet på 1.
•Kontrollera att containern går ur tippkroken och släpp ner kroken genom att ställa
tippkroksmanövervredet på 0.
•Ställ ner containern på flaket och transportsäkra den genom att justera
teleskopcylindrarna.
•Övertyga dig om att containern är ordentligt surrad, använd annars ytterligare
fastsättningsanordning.
•Kör in stödbenen till sina övre ändlägen.
•Lägg ur kraftuttaget
•Släpp handbromsen.

THAT'S HOW YOU USE YOUR SKIP LOADER
TO TIP THE CONTAINER
•Stop the vehicle and engage the handbrake.
•Engage the power take off.
•Check that the tip axle of the container is in good condition since a broken axle
can have serious consequences
•Make sure there is no one or nothing in the working area or where the tipping is
taking place.
•Pull out both support legs until you see that they are safely on the ground.
•Actuate the tip hook with the switch.
•Make sure that the tip hook is engaged in the tip hook case of the container.
•Engage the lift arm and telescope arm cylinders until sufficient tipping is
achieved, ATTENTION! not so much that the container touches the ground.
When the tip hook is extended, do not use the telescopic arm cylinders, you
may otherwise break the tip hook or the tip axle of the container.
•When the tipping is finished, pull in the lift cylinders until the container is a little
bit above the platform.
•If the Skip Loader is equipped with Joab safety tip hook, open tip hook locking
by positioning the tip operating knob at 1.
•Check that the container disengages from the tip hook and release the hook by
positioning the tip hook operating knob at 0.
•Lower the container on the platform and secure it by adjusting the telescopic
arm cylinders.
•Make sure that the container is properly stropped, if not, use further clamping
devices.
•Pull back the support legs to their upper positions.
•Disengage the power take off.
•Release the handbrake.

HYDRAULISK LASTSÄKRING
Lastsäkringen är radiostyrd och varje lastsäkringswire kan köras för sig.
VARNING!
Håll i lastsäkringwirens handtag när wiren körs ut. Kroka på lastsäkringswiren på
lyftknoppen. Undvik att hålla i lastsäkringswiren när den sträcks upp. Risk för
klämskador.
•Stoppklossar placeras i nyckelfästen efter var containern skall placeras på
flaket.
•Containern skjuts mot stoppklossar.
•Vid surrning av containern krokas lastsäkringswiren på den främre lyftknoppen.
Nyckelfästet på lastsäkringswiren kan placeras utanpå lyftplattan.

HYDRAULIC LOAD SECURING
Load securing is radio maneuvered and each wire can be operated seperatly.
ATTENTION!
Hold in wire handle when the wire is pushed out. Hook the wire on liftingknob. Do not
hold in the load secure wire when it is pulled in. Beware to get into a jam.
•Frontal stoppers has to be placed in keyholes depending where the container is
situated on the platform.
•Push the container against the stoppers.
•When securing the container the load secure wire is hooked on the front
liftingknob. The keybracket on the load secure wire can be placed outside the
lifting bracket.
