TRANSPORT DAMAGES – INSTALLATION – ASSEMBLY
•When you receive your Skip Loader please make sure that it is in an undamage
and working condition.
Should that not be the case, contact your supplier of the Skip Loader or us in
JOAB.
Check that any blasting has not damaged any electrical parts, pneumatics or the
hydraulic system.
Check that there is no paint between the moving parts, for instance on the piston
rod.
•If you are going to assembly your Skip Loader yourself, please consider that this
requires ” building-up skill”. Consider that a modern truck contains a lot of
electronics, pneumatics and, not least, hydraulics. Also for any welding and the
assembly itself, expert knowledge is required.
If you intend to do the assembly yourself, we take it that you do have the skills
required, otherwise please let an expert workshop do the work for you.
•Supplementary mounting of equipment, ex. Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical
equipment which can interfere in components/superstructure mounted by JOAB
should be done in a professional way. It is for certifying the function of equipment
mounted at the time of delivery from JOAB. Ex. Supplementary mounting of ploug
– right dimensions on hoses and valves. Supplementary mounting of
lightequipment – fuse capacity. Placement of equipment – is not aloud to interfere
in service and repair possibilities.
•All JOAB products are CE-approved.
Please remember that if you assembly yourself, you have to CE-approve the
complete superstructure. The documentation concerning Joab hooklift, which you
need for your CE-approval is delivered together with the hooklift.
Upon completion of the assembly, the Skip Loader has to be test run.
Test firstly without load and run all the movements that the Skip Loader has to
perform.
Thereafter you can test with platform and load.
•Please be careful with all safety details.
•If you have any problem, however small, or if you are unsure, contact your
supplier or us in JOAB.
