1. Make sure the Digital Depth Gauge is turned off.
2. To install or replace the battery, locate the battery
compartment cover located above the LCD (see figure 1).
3.
Pull the battery compartment out of the Digital Depth Gauge housing
(see figure 2).
4. Install the new
battery with the
negative pole facing
up (see figure 3).
5. Push the battery
compartment back into
the Digital Depth Gauge
housing until it is flush with the top of the housing (see figure 4).
Note: Always remove the battery before storing the instrument.

5. Using the Product
O /Off Butto
1. Push the on/off button once to turn the unit on. ABS
(absolute mode) will be displayed at the top of the LCD.
2. Another press of the on/off button with the unit on will set the
LCD display to zero.
3. After approximately 5 minutes of no movement or button
push, the until will shut off automatically. To restart the unit,
push the on/off button once.

1.
Assurez-vous que la jauge de profondeur numérique est éteinte.
2. Pour insérer ou remplacer la pile, repérez le couvercle du
compartiment de la pile situé au-dessus de l'écran (voir figure 1).
3.
Retirez le compartiment de la pile du corps de la jauge de profondeur
numérique en tirant (voir figure 2).

appuyez pour que le compartiment ne dépasse plus de l'écran (voir figure 4).
Remarque : Retirez toujours la pile avant de ranger l'appareil.

Touche marche/arrêt (O /Off)
1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche marche/arrêt pour mettre
l'appareil en marche. «ABS» (mode absolu) apparaîtra dans le
haut de l'écran.
2. Si vous appuyez de nouveau sur la touche marche/arrêt alors
que l'appareil est en marche, l'affichage sera réglé à zéro.
3. L'appareil s'éteindra automatiquement s'il demeure
immobile ou si aucune touche n'est actionnée pendant
environ 5 minutes. Pour remettre l'appareil en marche,
appuyez une fois sur la touche marche/arrêt.

1. Presione una vez el botón de encendido/apagado. El modo
absoluto ABS aparecerá en la parte superior de la pantalla LCD.
2. Con la unidad encendida, presione el botón de nuevo para

• Avoid exposing unit to shock vibrations and extreme
temperatures.
• Before moving or transporting the unit, make sure that the
unit is turned off.
• Remove the batteries when storing the unit for an
extended time (more than three months) to avoid damage
to the unit should the batteries deteriorate.
• Always store the unit in its case when not in use.
• Avoid getting the unit wet.
• eep the level dry and clean. Remove any moisture or dirt
with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, strong detergents or
cleaning solvents to clean the level.

mm/i ch/fractio Butto
1. A push of the mm/inch/fraction button will change the
measurement display from mm (Millimeters) to in (Inches in
Decimal) to flashing in (Inches in Fraction).
2. In Fraction Mode (flashing in symbol) the Digital Depth Gauge
will display to the closest 1/32".
INC/ABS Butto
1. A push of the INC/ABC button will change the unit from ABS
(Absolute) to INC (Incremental) modes.
2.
Absolute measurement mode allows the operator to measure
the absolute distance of an object from a reference point.
3. Place the Digital Depth Gauge on a flat surface (like a table),
slide the scale down to the table and press the on/off button
to zero the LCD display.
4. Place the Digital Depth Gauge over the object to be measured
and slide the scale down to the object.
5. The LCD will display the height of the object from the table.
6. Incremental mode allows the operator to measure the
difference between two objects.
7. Place the Digital Depth Gauge (IN ABS MODE) above the first
object, slide the scale down to the first object.
8. Press the INC/ABS button to enter into incremetal mode.
9. The display will go to zero.
10.Place the Digital Depth Gauge over the second object and
slide the scale to the second object.
11.The display will show the difference between the two objects.
REMARQUE : Si vous appuyez une fois sur la touche marche/arrêt

7. Entretien et m nipul tion
• Évitez d’exposer l’instrument aux vibrations causées par
les chocs et aux températures extrêmes.

Touche «mm/i ch/fractio »
1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche «mm/inch/fraction» pour faire
passer l'affichage des mesures de «mm» (millimètres) à «in»
(pouces en décimale) à «in» clignotant (pouces en fractions).

1. Presione una vez el botón mm/pulgada/fracciones para
cambiar la lectura de medidas de milímetros (mm) a décimas
de pulgada (in) a fracciones de pulgada (“in” intermitente).
2. En escala de fracciones (“in” intermitente), el instrumento
aproximará la medida al 1/32" más cercano.
Botó INC/ABS
1. Presione el botón INC/ABS para cambiar la unidad del modo
ABS (absoluto) al modo INC (incremental).

El modo absoluto de medición permite medir la distancia
absoluta de un objeto desde un punto de referencia.
3. Coloque el medidor digital de profundidad sobre una superficie
plana (una mesa). Deslice la reglilla hacia la mesa y presione el botón
de encendido/apagado para restablecer la lectura en pantalla a cero.
4. Coloque el medidor digital de profundidad sobre el objeto a
medir y deslice la reglilla hacia el objeto
5. La pantalla LCD mostrará la altura del objeto desde la mesa.
6. El modo INC (incremental) permite medir la diferencia entre
dos objetos.
7. Coloque el medidor digital de profundidad, EN MODO ABS,
sobre el primer objeto. Deslice la reglilla hacia el primer objeto.

Presione el botón INC/ABS para activar el modo INC (incremental).
9. La pantalla volverá a cero.
10.Coloque el medidor sobre el segundo objeto y deslice la
reglilla hacia el segundo objeto.
