MACHINE INSTALLATION
CLEANING METHOD
The water mixed with soap is sprayed on the floor through the brush that polishes and dislodges the dirt
with strength. Waste water is collected by the squeegee and the vacuum cleaner for easy and quick drying.
CLEANING BRUSH
Use appropriate brush for optimal cleaning effect.
Specifications of recommended brush for JVC56BTN are as follows :
• 22" spare brush is sold at Johnny Vac (JVC50BR).
• Pad holder (JVCPD).
DIFFERENT TYPES OF PADS USED :
White : For very soft job.
Red : For soft jobs.
Blue : For intense jobs.
Black : For extreme jobs.
NOTE : For more details on the different types of pads to use and the characteristics of those, please
contact one of our experts who will be happy to explain the advantages and disadvantages of each one.

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION OF THE SQUEEGEE:
1. Stop the machine on a flat surface, turn off all the power switches and remove the key.
2. Pull the squeegee lifting rod upwards as shown in Figure 3 above.
3. Fix the squeegee assembly to the installation bracket following the diagram below (Figure 4). Place the
fastening knob into the socket completely before tightening. Do not over tighten.
4. Connect vacuum hose to the squeegee assembly as shown in Figure 5 below.
5. Check squeegee blade and make proper adjustment.

INSTALLATION AND SETTING OF THE BRUSH :
For your safety, first ensure that the machine is on a lflat surface.
Never work without the brush being perfectly installed.
Install brush or change pads :
1. Lower the cleaning head pedal so that the brush protection hood rises slightly (see Figure 6).
2. Place the brush in front of the machine and centre it with the guard (Figure 7). Lower the pedal again so
that the guard falls down on the brush. If the brush is properly centered, a slight pressure from the control
lever (Figure 8) should be sufficient to engage it. Otherwise, all you have to do is do it manually, taking care
to make sure that the two parts coincide and doing a slight rotation until they snap properly.
NOTE : To remove the brush or pads, do the opposite as above or do it manually.

FILL THE SOLUTION TANK
Use the water injection hole in the front of the machine to fill the solution into the solution tank as shown
in Figure 9.
Scrubbing method: Use cold or lukewarm water and a dose of soap according to the detergent manufac-
turer's instructions.
NOTE: When filing the solution tank with a bucket, make sure that it is clean. Do not use the same bucket
for filling and draining he machine.
ATTENTION: For conventional scrubbing, only use recommended cleaning detergents. Machine damage
due to improper detergent usage (such as washing powder) will void the manufacturer's warranty.
Do not use inflammable liquids in case of fire or explosion.
FOR SAFETY: Follow the mixing and handling instructions on chemical containers.

5. Adjust the speed knob to the desired power (see Figure 13).
6. Raise the motor switch handle to open the water flow and start the traction motor that allows the
machine to advance automatically for increased performance (see Figure 14).

MACHINE OPERATION
7. Adjust water flow by lifting water valve upward and downward to fit different scrubbing requirements as
shown in Figure 15.
8. When stopping scrubbing, turn off the brush motor and squeegee motor switches as well as the main
power switch to lift the brush and squeegee assembly.
DURING OPERATION
FOR YOUR SAFETY : Go slowly on inclines and slippery surfaces and wear non-slip shoes.
1. Respect the cleaning width of 22 inches (56 cm).
2. Avoid leaving the unit running in stationary position to avoid marking your floors.
3. Make sure the floors have been swept before using the appliance; always clean the squeegee blades
where dirt can accumulate and dirty your floors.
4. Do not use on a slope exceeding 2%.
NOTE : Avoid getting foam through the filter and damaging the engine. Use an anti-foam additive in the
wastewater collection tank.
Figure 15

BATTERY ELECTRICITY METER
Your electricity indicator informs you about the remaining charge of your battery. When your battery is fully
charged, the indicator will be fully lit from right to left.
It is best to stop scrubbing and charge the battery cells when the left light is blinking. Scrubbing function
will be automatically shut off during excessive operations with left light blinking to prevent the battery cells
from running out. Charge the battery cells immediately in this case (Figure 16).
OVERLOAD PROTECTOR
Your machine is equipped with a pressure gage for the brush. This gage helps you to set the pressure you
need for the brushes. If the gage is red, there is too much pressure. Never have the gage in red light. It cant
affect the motor and the brushes (see Figure 17).

The timer is used to count the total working hours of the machine. Refer to the timer to judge when to carry
out recommended maintenance procedures and record maintenance history (Figure 18). Refer to this
stopwatch for maintenance visits to your device as suggested in the table on page 28.
Drain and clean the recovery tank after each time of using. For your safety, stop the machine on a level
surface when leaving or servicing it, turn it off and remove the key.
Drain Recovery Tank
1. Carry the machine to a place for drainage and turn the power off.
