The JOICO Styler is the first iron that reconstructs and protects hair
as you style. Now you can create a new hairstyle every day without

JOICO Styler Features:

Instructions:
Filling The Reservoir
Please note: Fill the reservoir only with JOICO K-Pak ReconstRx
VaporFuel.
If you do not want to use the vapor function, leave the tank empty
and turn the fuel control button on the back of the iron to the OFF
position.
Attention: Never remove the reservoir when the
applianceis HOT. Always fill when the appliance is
COLD.
1. Pull back on the reservoir release button and remove
the reservoir from the appliance.
2. Pull back on the rubber reservoir cap and fill the
larger of the two holes with ReconstRx VaporFuel
3. Replace the rubber cap.
4. Snap the reservoir back onto the JOICO Styler. Insert
the wide end of the reservoir first, then press down
on the reservoir until you hear it click into place
How To Use:
1. Plug the appliance into a power socket (220 V).
2. Press the ON-position. The indicator light will show red.
3. Use the temperature control +/- and select your desired
temperature setting. While heating, the green lights will flash.
When the JOICO Styler has reached your selected operating
temperature, the green light will remain lit.
4. Always use a temperature that is appropriate to your hair type.
(See table below).

5. To turn the appliance off, push the on/off button until the lights
go out.
6. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before storing.
Cleaning & Care
Storage
If you do not use the appliance for longer than 5 days, please
remove the reservoir and store it separately.

Styling
Smooth Look
1. Wash your hair, dry it and comb it thoroughly.
2. Divide the hair into sections approximately 5 cm in width. The
thinner the section, the more intense is the result.
3. Carefully place the section between the heating plates.
4. Now draw the styler from the hairline to the tip. Never stop for
more than 2 seconds at any point.
5. Repeat the action until you have reached your desired result.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 with the remaining sections.
7. Let your hair cool down before you comb it or brush it.
8. Turn off the appliance and unplug it when you have finished the
styling.
Curly Look
1. Wash your hair using both a shampoo and a conditioner.
2. Comb your hair through; use a styling product of your choice and
dry hair thoroughly.
3. Divide the hair into sections of approximately 2 cm in width. The
thinner the section, the more intense and durable is the result.
4. Place the JOICO Styler as close to the hairline as possible and
slide down through the hair at the same time you wrap the hair
around the iron and rotate it. Tip: Work slowly to get the most
intense result.

carefully.
This will safeguard you from possible hazards and prevent the appliance from
damage caused by incorrect operation.
ALWAYS operate according to the instructions!
JOICO is NOT liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by misuse of the
product.

Danger
• Only use the JOICO Styler to style real hair. Do not use it on artificial or
animal hair. Do not use the heating elements to dry objects.
• The appliance must never be used in the bath, shower or over a filled wash-
basin or other container containing liquid.
• The appliance must not be operated with wet hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse under running, dripping
wet hair. When connected to the power supply, never leave the styler
unattended.

• Check if the main voltage is in line with the voltage specified on the appli-
ance.
• Electrical appliances should be kept away from children. Children should
not be allowed to use or play with the appliance or the product’s packaging.
• Arrange the power chord in a way that it will not cause an
obstruction or can be tripped over.
• Protect the power cord from damage. Never pull on the power cord. Hold
the power plug when removing it from the power socket.
• Clean the product with a slightly dampened cloth (not wet). Always discon-
nect the product from the power supply before cleaning and ensure the unit
has cooled down.
• To prevent possible overheating, never place towels or similar such items
over or under the appliance.
• Do not attempt to repair the product or the connection cable by yourself.
Never switch on the appliance when:
• The appliance or the power lead is damaged.
• The device has been dropped, shows visible damage or is not functioning
properly.
• The appliance is damaged to such an extent that electrical parts are
exposed.
The product must be unplugged when:
• A defect occurs during operation
• You wish to clean the appliance
Attention
• Risk of burns! Do not let bare skin come into contact with the heating plates
during or after use until such time that the plates have cooled down.
• When in operation, the power cord should not be allowed to come in con-
tact with the heating plates.
• When in operation, only place the appliance down on firm, heat-resistant
surfaces.
• Make sure that the appliance has completely cooled down before storing
away.
• This appliance is designed for use indoors only. Do not use outdoors.
• Never use petrol spirits or other abrasive cleaning substances.
• Do not use appliance near combustible gases, e.g. directly in the airflow of
sprays, aerosols and styling foams.
Note
The JOICO Styler has been designed for professional use in salons; however
it can be used in domestic environments, too. I should be used only with
professional products specially designed for use with a heated styler.

Warranty
This product is guaranteed against any manufacturer defects,
faulty workmanship or faulty material for 24 months after date
of purchase.
This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been operated in
strict accordance with the safety instructions.
Warranty exclusions:
• Damage caused by normal wear and tear including chips,
scratches, abrasions, discoloration or fading and damage to the
power chord.
• Damage caused by careless or improper transportation.
• Damage caused by misuse of improper voltage and current.
• Damage caused by negligence, carelessness, disassembly or
dropping.
• Damage caused by repair or alteration which is not from the
original manufacturer or its authorized agent.
• Any other damage which by judgment is not defective by materials
or workmanship.
• Damage caused by fuel other than the original JOICO ReconstRx
VaporFuel.
Please note: It is important to clean the plates after use. If the plates
were not cleaned regularly according to the instructions, damage
resulting there from is not covered.
Please note: Neither JOICO nor the salon can be held responsible
for damaged hair. Please use temperature settings appropriate to
your hair type.
All complaints regarding the product should be accompanied by
the original purchase receipt and addressed to your retail outlet or
JOICO Styler vendor.
