Assembling and Using your Walker
1 Unpacking the Product
• RemoveeverythingfromtheboxandidentifythepartsusingFigure 1.1.(nottoscale)
A: walker, B: tray insert, C: seat, D:twofrontwheelsanddocuments(notshown).
• Discardallpackagingmaterialsproperlyincludingplasticcoverings.
• DONOTallowchildrentoplaywithanypackagingmaterials.
2 Installing the Front Wheels
• Insertthepostofoneofthefrontwheelsintotheholeinoneofthefrontcorners.Pushrmlyuntil
thepostisfullyengaged.See Figure 2.1.
• Repeatthisfortheotherfrontwheel.
• Pulloneachwheeltoensureitissecuredinplace.
CAUTION:Besurethepostisinsertedfullyintothebase.Thetoplipofthepostshouldbeush
withthebasehole.Nothingbelowthislipshouldbevisible.
3 Unfolding, Adjusting, and Folding the Walker
• Setthewalkeruprightandpulluponthetoppartuntilyouhearaclick.See Figure 3.1.
• Thewalkerhasthreeadjustableheightpositionsdependingontheheightofyourchild.Pulluptoclickintoanyofthethreepositions.
• Tofoldoradjustthewalker’sheight,locatetherectangularbuttonunderthefrontendofthewalker.See Figure 3.2.
• Tofoldoradjusttheheightyoumustturntherectangularbuttoncounter-clockwise90ºandthenpushin.Lowerthewalkertothedesired
heightandthenreleasethebutton.See Figure 3.3.

4 Installing the Seat
• Identifythefrontoftheseatandthethreeplasticposts.
• Startingwiththecenterplasticpost,insertthefrontcenterpostintothefrontcenterholeofthewalker(See Figure 4.1)andpushdownto
lock in place. See Figure 4.2.
• Repeatthesestepsfortheothertwoplasticposts.
• Next,ontherearoftheseattherearevestraps.Startingwithoneofthetwostrapsontheoutside,feedthestrapthroughtheslotinthe
backofthewalker.See Figure 4.3.
• Makesurethattheplasticclippassesallthewaythroughtheslot,thenturntheplasticclipsothatitisat.See Figure 4.4.
• Repeatthesestepsfortheremainingfourstraps.
• Pullonthestrapsandtabstoensuretheyaresecure.
• Alwayscheckwalkerheightadjustmenttobesurechild’sfeettouchtheoor.
5 Using the Tray In sert
Thetrayinsertisremovableanddishwashersafe.Thistrayhasa“ChildResistant”snap.This
designmakesthetrayinsertdifcultforachildtoremove,whilestillbeingeasilyremovedbyan
adult.
• Toremovethetrayinsert,exhandlesinward,pushthumbdownontheinneredgeofthetrayand
pull up. See Figure 5.1.
• Toattachthetrayinsert,tthetrayinsertintothetrayuntilbothsidesclickintoplace.
6 Removing the Seat for Washing
• Startingwiththefrontoftheseat,liftuponapostandpullout.See Figure 6.1.
• Repeatthesestepsfortheother2plasticposts.
• Next,ontherearoftheseattherearevestraps.Startingwithoneofthetwostrapsontheoutside,turntheplasticclipsoitcanbe
pushed through the slot, then pull the strap all the way through the slot. See Figure 6.2.
• Repeatthesestepsfortheremainingfourstraps.

• Removethebacksupportpaddingintheseatbyndingthezipperlocatednexttothestraps(See Figure 6.3).Openthezipperand
removethepadding.
• Toremovethebacksupportplastic,feedthevestrapsthroughthefabricandremovetheplasticfrominsidetheseat.
• Seatisnowreadyforthewashingmachine.
• Lookforthetagontheseatcoveronhowtowashinwashingmachine.
NOTE:ONLYtheseatcoverismachinewashable.
7 Reassembling the Seat
• Placetheplasticbackintotheseatandfeedthevestrapsthroughtheveholes.
• Placethebacksupportpaddingbackintotheseatandzipupthezipper.
• FollowtheinstructionsinSection4toreinstalltheseatontothewalker.
Maintenance
Allofthettings,snaps,locks,rivets,andotherhardwareandplasticpartsonthewalkershouldbeinspectedperiodicallytoensurethat
theyaresecuredproperlyandnotdamagedormalfunctioning.Thestrapsandfabricitemsandtheirstitchingshouldalsobeinspected
periodicallytoensurethattheyaresecuredproperlyandnotloose,tornorotherwisedamaged.Allmovingpartsshouldalsobechecked
periodicallytoensuretheyareoperatingproperly.Cleanfrictionpads(onthebottomofthewalker)regularlytomaintainstopping
performance.See Figure M.
Anymissing,broken,orworncomponentsshouldbereplacedimmediately,andthewalkershouldnotbeuseduntiltheyarereplaced.Only
originalmanufacturer’scomponentsshouldbeused.Ifneeded,pleasecontactJoovyatourtoll-freephonenumber(877)456-5049.
Cleaning
Thefabricmaterialonthiswalkercanbemachinewashedorcleanedusingmildhouseholdsoapordetergentandwarmwateronasponge
orcleancloth.Alwaysallowthefabrictocompletelyairdrybeforeusingthewalker.
Theframe,wheels,andtrayshouldalwaysbekeptcleanandfreeofdirtandforeignmatter.Useaspongeorclothdampenedwithwarm
waterandamilddetergentcleanertocleanthewheelsaftersuchuse.

Montaje y Utilización de su Andador
1 Desembalaje del Producto
• RetiretododelacajaeidentiquelaspartesusandolaFigura 1.1.(Nohechaaescala)
A: andador, B:bandejadeinserción,C: asiento, D:dosruedasdelanterasydocumentos(nosemuestran).
• Deshágasedetodoslosmaterialesdeembalajeadecuadamente,incluyendolascubiertasdeplástico.
• NOpermitaquelosniñosjueguenconningúnmaterialdeembalaje.
2 Instalación de las Ruedas Delanteras
• Inserteelpernodeunadelasruedasdelanteraseneloriciodeunadelasesquinasfrontales.
Presionermementehastaqueelpernoquedecompletamenteacoplado.Ver Figura 2.1.
• Repita este paso para la otra rueda delantera.
• Tiredeambasruedasparaasegurarsedequeesténrmesensulugar.
PRECAUCIÓN:Asegúresedequeelpernoestéinsertadoporcompletoenlabase.Elborde

4 Instalación del Asiento
• Identiquelapartedelanteradelasientoylostrespostesplásticos.
• Comenzandoporelposteplásticocentral,inserteelpostecentraldelanteroeneloriciocentraldelanterodelandador(Ver Figura 4.1)y
presionehaciaabajoparaasegurarloensulugar.Ver Figura 4.2.
• Repita estos pasos para los otros dos postes plásticos.
• Acontinuación,localicelascincocorreasqueseencuentranenlapartetraseradelasiento.Comiencepasandounadelasdoscorreas
delexteriorporlaranuraubicadaenlapartetraseradelandador.Ver Figura 4.3.
• Asegúresedequeelsujetadordeplásticopaseatravésdelaranuraporcompletoyluegogíreloparaquequedeplano.Ver Figura 4.4.

5 Uso de la Bandeja de Inserción
Labandejadeinserciónesremovibleyaptaparalavavajillas.Estabandejatieneuncierreaprueba
deniños.Estediseñohacequeremoverlabandejadeinserciónseadifícilparaunniño,sindejar
de ser sencillo para un adulto.
• Pararemoverlabandejadeinserción,exionelosmanillareshaciaadentro,presioneelborde
internodelabandejahaciaabajoconlospulgaresylevántela.Ver Figura 5.1.
• Paracolocarlabandejadeinserción,acomódelaenlabandejahastaqueambosladosencajen
en su lugar haciendo clic.
6 Remoción del Asiento para su Lavado
• Comenzandoporlapartedelanteradelasiento,levántelasobreunposteyretírela.Ver Figura 6.1.
• Repita estos pasos para los otros 2 postes plásticos.
• Acontinuación,localicelascincocorreasqueseencuentranenlapartetraseradelasiento.Comenzandoporunadelasdoscorreasdel
exterior,gireelsujetadordeplásticoparapoderpasarloporlaranurayluegotiredelacorreaparasacarlaporcompletodelaranura.Ver
Figura 6.2.
• Repita estos pasos para las cuatro correas restantes.
• Retirelaalmohadilladelsoporteparalaespaldadelasientolocalizandolacremalleraubicadajuntoalascorreas(Ver Figura 6.3).Abra
lacremallerayretirelaalmohadilla.
• Paraquitarelplásticodelsoporteparalaespalda,paselascincocorreasporeltejidoyretírelodesdeelinteriordelasiento.
• El asiento ya está listo para la lavadora.
• Busquelaetiquetaqueindicacómolavaramáquinaenlafundadelasiento.
NOTA:SOLOlafundadelasientosepuedelavaramáquina.
7 Reensamblaje del Asiento
• Vuelvaacolocarelplásticoenelasientoypaselascincocorreasporloscincooricios.
• Vuelvaacolocarlaalmohadilladelsoporteparalaespaldaenelasientoycierrelacremallera.
• SigalasinstruccionesdelaSección4paravolverainstalarelasientoenelandador.
Mantenimiento
Todoslosaccesorios,cierres,seguros,remachesyotroselementosypartesplásticasdelandadordebenserinspeccionadosregularmente
paragarantizarqueesténcorrectamenteaseguradosyquenoesténdañadosnifuncionenmal.Lascorreasylosobjetosdetelaysus
costurastambiéndebenserinspeccionadosperiódicamenteparagarantizarqueesténcorrectamenteaseguradosyquenoesténojos,
rotosodañadosdeotramanera.Todaslaspartesmovibles,comolasruedas,frenosybisagras,tambiéndebenserinspeccionadascon
regularidadparagarantizarsucorrectofuncionamiento.Limpielasalmohadillasdefricción(enlaparteinferiordelandador)regularmente
paramantenersurendimientodefrenado.Ver Figura M.
