JOPRO Transfer
Semi-automatic battery handling system.
For sideways battery change on forklift trucks.
Maximum battery weight: 2000 kg.

reference.

Generates a strong magnetic eld
with great gripping power.
If the electromagnet is left activated

Unauthorized sta󰀨 are not al-
lowed within 1,5 meters from
JOPRO Transfer when in use.
Park the truck perpendicular to
JOPRO Transfer.

The electromagnet must be cen-
tered on the battery.
The rollers must be on the same level.

Activate the electromagnet when it
is in contact with the battery.
Electromagnet
The electromagnet generates a very strong
magnetic eld.
Check that there are no loose metallic objects
within one meter from the electromagnet when it
is activated.

Transport the battery so far onto
the roller bed that it rides on the
battery brake pads.

Monthly
JOPRO Transfer should be super-
vised regarding:
- function: check that the various
functions work correctly.
- deformations: check that there
are no visible cracks, distortions,
corrosions or other deformations.
- weldings: check that all weld-
ings are intact and have no visible
cracks.
- markings: check that the marks
for maximum capacity, CE and
contact information to the manufac-
turer are intact.
- instructions: check that the
manual is always available.
Daily
Hydraulic cylinders
Set the cylinders to min and max
position and let the oil ood through
the system 2 minutes at each posi-
tion to ensure parallelity.
Repeat the procedure 2-3 times.
If any problems with the cylinders
still occur, please contact us. 2 minutes

Powered wheels
Check that the cogs on the cog
wheels and hydraulic motors are
intact.
If any of the cogs are worn down
it may cause JOPRO Transfer to
move jerky and/or irregularly.
Battery brake pads
The battery brake pads must be
1-2 mm above the roller bed.
Adjust the height by means of the
inset hexagon socket bolts.

When required
Chain tension
The chain in the electromagnet rail
should not be slacking.
Stretch the chain by tightening both
bolts equally.
Inner beams
Grease (80 ml, DIN 51502, KP2K-
20) the inner beams if the roller
bed’s movements are sluggish
and/or jerky.
Electromagnet rail
Grease (30 ml, DIN 51502, KP2K-
20) the inside of the rail if the
elektromagnet arm movements are
sluggish and/or jerky.

Hydraulic oil
Check that there are no visible
leaks of hydraulic oil.
Any leakage in the system may
cause the Battery Transfer Cart’s
movements to become jerky.
If necessary, rell with hydraulic oil
(ISO VG 46 quality or equivalent).
Every year
Exchange all hydraulic oil (5 l, DIN
51524-3 HVLP, ISO VG 46).
