1. Einführung
Der CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro DMX ist eine Weiterentwicklung des CHROMOFLEX
®
I, II und RC. Die Version
Pro enthält bis zu 4 Kanäle (z. B. für moderne R-G-B-W LEDs - Art. 66000034) und erhält sämtliche Steuersignale
über den DMX Bus. Zur Steuerung und Einstellung werden daher entweder das CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Glass
Touch DMX (Art.66000426, 66000427) oder ein Steuergerät, welches ein DMX Netzwerk steuern kann, benötigt.
Nahezu beliebig viele Module können hintereinander in einem DMX Bus vernetzt werden.
2. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Glass Touch erlaubt die Einstellung von Farben oder das Aufrufen von Effekten auf den CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro DMX Modulen. Die Steuerung verwendet kontaktlose, berührungsempfindliche Bereiche und einen
berührungsempfindlichen Schieberegler. Das Gerät arbeitet mit dem genormten DMX Bus.

4. Sicherheitshinweise
Das Modul verfügt intern über einen Verpolungsschutz (mit begrenzter Leistungsfähigkeit), trotzdem kann
Verpolung (auch kurzzeitig) das Gerät zerstören. Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Betrieb, Verpolung, bei Umbau
des Gerätes, bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachten der
Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keinerlei Haftung und der Garantieanspruch erlischt
vollständig. Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und gehört nicht in Kinderhände.
5. Betrieb
Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur, wenn es einwandfrei funktioniert. Im Fehlerfall schalten Sie das Produkt sofort aus
und betreiben es erst wieder nach Überprüfung durch eine Elektrofachkraft. Dies ist der Fall, wenn:
- sichtbare Beschädigungen auftreten
- das Produkt nicht einwandfrei arbeitet
- es qualmt, raucht, oder bei hörbaren Knistergeräuschen
- eine Überhitzung zu erkennen ist
5.1 Montage und Inbetriebnahme
Das Gerät kann in jede handelsübliche Unterputz- oder Hohlwanddose eingesetzt werden. Entfernen Sie zu
diesem Zweck den Glass Touch Aufsatz vom Montagerahmen indem Sie die vier Madenschrauben (Abb. 1) mit
dem mitgelieferten Imbusschlüssel lösen.
Befestigen Sie den Montagerahmen, schließen Sie das Glass Touch an die Spannungsversorgung sowie die
DMX Bus Leitungen an und befestigen Sie den Aufsatz wieder mit den Madenschrauben.

Pro Glass Touch
Die Tasten des Glass Touch sind nach folgendem Schema belegt:
Nachdem das Gerät angeschlossen wurde, muss als Erstes der Power Button gedrückt werden. Alle
gewünschten Steuergeräte müssen hierzu auch mit dem DMX Bus verbunden sein.
Nun kann entweder am Schieberegler eine feste Farbe eingestellt oder durch Drücken der Taste W
bzw. Bein Farbverlauf gestartet werden. Hierbei steht Wfür einen reinen RGB Verlauf und B für einen RGB
Verlauf mit Weiß-Anteil (RGBW). Die Geschwindigkeit für diese Programme kann mit Gund Rverändert werden.
Ein Farbwechsel kann jederzeit durch erneutes drücken auf die Auswahltaste ( W / B) gestoppt und wieder
gestartet werden.
Bei kurzem Druck auf die Dimm-Taste leuchtet diese blau auf und Sie befinden sich in der zweiten
Funktionsebene, bis die Dimm-Taste erneut gedrückt wird. In dieser Ebene wird der Schieberegler zum Dimmer
und durch Vorwahl einer Farbe mittels der Farbtasten W,B,G oder R kann sogar jede Farbe einzeln gedimmt
werden. Das Dimmen einer einzelnen Farbe muss unmittelbar (2-3 sek.) nach ihrer Auswahl geschehen.
Die Status LED zeigt zu jeder Zeit die aktuell übermittelte Farbe an.
Mit der Power-Taste werden alle Steuergeräte an- bzw. ausgeschaltet.
6. Vernetzung
Im einfachsten Fall wird nur ein einzelnes Modul betrieben und das Glass Touch muss daher nur mit einem
einzigen Modul kommunizieren. Das CHROMOFLEX

Pro Glass Touch ist für den Betrieb von max. 4 Kanälen
konzipiert. Bei mehreren Steuerungen wird der DMX Bus von
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro zu CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro
weiter verdrahtet (Abb. 3). Es ist darauf zu achten, dass jedes Steuergerät auf die gleichen Kanäle eingestellt ist
(1 bis 3 bei RGB und 1 bis 4 bei RGBW). Zusätzlich müssen alle Abschlusswiderstände entfernt werden, nur in
der letzten Steuerung im Bus bleibt der Jumper gesetzt.

Lieferumfangs für das Gerät und muss dem Endverbraucher ausgehändigt werden. Die CHROMOFLEX

Pro
Module (66000483; 66000484; 66000494; 66000473; 66000474) sind optionales Zubehör.

1. Introduction
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro DMX is an advancement of CHROMOFLEX
®
I, II and RC. The PRO version consists
of up to 4 channels (eg for R-G-B-W LEDs – item no. 66000034) and is DMX controlled.
For control and settings either CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Glass Touch DMX (item 66000426, 66000427) or another
device, which can handle the DMX protocol, is necessary.
2. Usage
By using the Glass Touch you can control colours and effects of the CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro DMX . For operation
the Glass Touch is equipped with solid-state touch buttons / slider.

4. Safety instructions
The unit is equipped with a built-in protection against reverse polarity. Connecting the power in reverse polarity
can destroy the module, even if connected for a short time only.
Please remove and replace empty batteries because they could leak.
We decline any liability, loss or damage caused by improperly used modules! Guarantee is also lost in such cases.
This product is not a toy, keep away from children!
5. Operation
Please operate this unit only when it is working properly.
In case of an error, switch off the unit immediately. Do not operate the unit, until the unit was verified electronically
by a qualified electrician.
A case of error is:
- Visible signs of damage on the unit
- The unit is not operating properly
- fume rising or crackling sounds from the unit
- Visible signs of overheating
5.1 Installation and Start-up
The device can be used in any standard flush or cavity wall box. Remove the glass touch attachment from the
mounting frame by loosening the four allen screws (Fig. 1) with the supplied allen wrench.
Attach the mounting frame, connect the glass touch to the power supply and the DMX bus wires and attach the
cover again using the allen screws.

Button configuration scheme:
After the device has been connected, push the power button first. All desired control units must be connected
to the DMX bus. Now you can use the slider to define a fixed color resp. press the Wor Bbutton to start a color
sequence. Wstarts an RGB program and B starts an RGB program with white part in it (RGBW).
The speed can be changed by the Gand Rbutton.
The color sequence can be paused by pressing the Wor Bbutton again.
A short push on the dim button makes it glow blue and now you are in the 2. feature level, until you push the
dim button again. In this level, the slider works as a dimmer and if you pre-select a color, it is possible to dim every
color separately. The dimming of the colour must be done immediately (2-3 sec.) after choosing it.
The status LED always shows the currently transmitted color.
The power button turns the LEDs on and off.
6. Networking
The simplest way to use the Glass Touch is to link it with only one module. The CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Glass
Touch is designed to control up to 4 channels. If you want to use more modules in series (fig. 3), be sure that the
same channel-frequencies are set on each controller (1 to 3 at RGB and 1 to 4 at RGBW). Additionally remove
every termination-jumper from the modules, only in the last controller on the bus, the jumper is set.
