DESTINAZIONE D’USO E NORMA DI RIFERIMENTO
Questo termometro elettrico digitale modello Joycare JC-132 è una
apparecchio per la misura della temperatura corporea ad uso clinico ed
ospedaliero, oltre che ad uso domestico,ove non sia richiesta la sorveglianza
continua da parte di personale medico e paramedico.
L’apparecchio è per uso orale e deve essere utilizzato seguendo
scrupolosamente le istruzioni indicate in questo manuale: ogni uso diverso
da quanto prescritto è da considerarsi improprio.
E’ un prodotto conforme alle seguenti Norme:
- EN 60601-1 + A1 +A2 + A13 – Apparecchi elettromedicali. Parte 1: Norme
generali per la sicurezza;
- EN 60601-1-2 – Apparecchi elettromedicali. Parte 1: Norme generali per

un dispositivo di massimo.
Il termometro elettrico digitale modello Joycare JC-132G è un dispositivo
medico di classe IIa. Classificazione in accordo alla clausola 3.2, sezione 3,
regola 10 della Direttiva 93/42/CEE.
AVVERTENZE
Controllare il bulbo prima dell’uso: non usare l’apparecchio nel caso in cui
la gomma sia lacerata.

Non usare il prodotto come un normale succhiotto.
Non far cadere l’apparecchio a terra. Non mettere in contatto il Termometro
con solventi.
Evitare l’esposizione e il contatto con fonti di calore. Non immergere il bulbo
in sostanza dolci.
Non legare il termometro al collo del bambino.
Non smontare il prodotto.
QUAL’E’ LA TEMPERATURA NORMALE ?
Per i bambini, la temperatura considerata normale e accettabile è tra i 36.5
e 37.5°C (97,7°F/99,5°F)
IMPORTANTE: se a display la temperatura è superiore ai 42 °C, in questo
caso rivolgersi immediatamente ad un medico.
UTILIZZO DEL TERMOMETRO
Se il bambino ha appena ingerito cibi caldi o bevande calde, attendere circa
30 minuti prima di utilizzare il termometro (la rilevazione della temperatura
potrebbe essere non attendibile).
Rimuovere il coperchio protettivo
Lavare il ciuccio con acqua
Premere il tasto ON/OFF per accendere il termometro.
Il display visualizza per 0,5 secondi la scritta 188.8
Inserire la tettarella nella bocca del bambino e lasciarla in bocca fino a che
il termometro emetterà beep sonori
Il display smette di lampeggiare e mostrerà la temperatura rilevata

Per effettuare un’altra misurazione, attendere almeno 5 minuti prima di
ripeterla
L’ultima misurazione effettuata rimane in memoria (funzione memoria).
L’ultima misurazione si cancella quando ne viene effettuata un’altra
A misurazione terminata, rimuovere il termometro dalla bocca del
bambino e premere ON/OFF per spegnerlo. Oppure attendere 8 minuti per
l’autospegnimento
Nota : Il prodotto dispone di una batteria interna (con una durata di circa
1000 misurazioni). Per garantire la sicurezza del bambino, la batteria è
saldata all’interno del termometro e non è estraibile e sostituibile dall’utente.
Dunque, una volta terminata la batteria (il display visualizza un messaggio di
batteria scarica al termine della vita della batteria) termina anche la vita del
prodotto stesso e va immediatamente interrotto l’utilizzo dello stesso.
PULIZIA
L’apparecchio è resistente all’acqua, lavarlo con acqua tiepida (NON
CALDA!).
Sterilizzare la tettarella con alcool e risciacquare con acqua fredda.
Controllare sempre il bulbo prima dell’uso: non usare l’apparecchio nel caso
in cui la gomma sia lacerata.

USE AND REFERENCE STANDARD
This digital electric thermometer model Joycare JC-132G is suitable to take
body temperature for clinical and hospital use as well as for home use, as long
as medical or paramedical staff are not required to be present at all times. The
device was designed for oral use strictly in compliance with the instructions
specified in this manual. Any use different from the use specified will be
deemed improper use.

model Joycare JC-132 is a
medical device belonging to Class IIa. Classification according to Clause 3.2,

WARNINGS
Check the bulb before use: do not use the thermometer if the rubber is torn.
Do not use the product as an ordinary dummy. Do not drop the thermometer.
Do not let the product come into contact with solvents. Avoid exposure to and
contact with heat sources. Do not immerse the bulb in sweet substances. No
not tie the thermometer to the baby’s neck.Do not disassemble the product.

WHAT IS A “NORMAL” TEMPERATURE ?
The generally accepted “normal” temperature for child is between 36.5 to
37.5°C/97.7 to 99.5°F
HOW TO TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE
This pacifier thermometer is the most convenient equipment for you to
measure your child’s temperature. Never measure temperature within 30
minutes after the baby had intake hot or cold drink since it will inaccurate
the measurement. Please follow the procedure list below to taking your baby
temperature.Remove the protective cover;
Wash the thermometer with mild soap and warm water.Rinse thoroughly with
cool water. Press ON/OFF button to activate. The thermometer will beep once
for about 0.5 second and the display will show icon Lo. below for around 2
seconds. Place the pacifier in the baby’s mouth and leave it there until the
thermometer beeps continuously. Remove the pacifier from the baby’s mouth.
Push the on/off button to switch off the thermometer as this will help to extend
the life of the thermometer. The thermometer will switch off automatically
around after 8 minutes of the measurement. Read and record the temperature
and time after each measuring for reference.The reading will also automatically
stored in the memory; Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the thermometer.
The thermometer will switch off automatically after it is idle in 8 minutes.
Clean the thermometer, cover the thermometer with the protective cover
provided and store it out of reach of child. Turn thermometer off and back on.
While turn on the thermometer again, press and hold ON/OFF button over 2
seconds, the temperature unit °F & °C will changed accordingly.

Now the thermometer can be use to measure temperature in the unit that
shows on the upper right hand corner of the display window.
Repeat the above process to reverse the measurement unit if desired.
RECALL THE LAST TEMPERATURE
The last temperature is always stored in the memory automatically; The
last temperature will display on the display window when you switch on the
thermometer again. It will show up on the display window after you heard the
beep when you switch on the thermometer
CLEANING
The thermometer is water-proof. Clean it with warm AND NOT HOT water!
Sterilise the teat with alcohol and rinse with cold water. Always check the
bulb before use:
do not use the thermometer if the rubber is torn.
INFORMATION ON ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
This medical device needs special care as far as electromagnetic
compatibility is concerned. It must be installed and used in compliance with
the information given in the accompanying documents. Portable and mobile
radiocommunication appliances may affect the operation of the thermometer.

DISPOSAL
The device (including its removable parts and accessories) must
not be disposed of together with municipal waste at the end of its
life, but in compliance with European Directive 2002/96/EC. Since
it must be handled separately from household waste, either carry it to
a separatelycollected waste disposal centre for electrical and electronic
appliances or give it back to the retailer on purchasing a new device with the
same purpose. Any infringement will be severely prosecuted. The batteries
used in this device must be disposed of in the special bins at the end of their

Ce thermomètre électrique digital modèle Joycare JC-132G est un appareil
qui mesure la température corporelle à usage clinique et hospitalier,
en plus à usage familier, si on n’exige pas la surveillance du personnel
médical et paramédical. L’appareil est à usage oral et doit être utilisé en
suivant scrupuleusement les instructions indiquées dans ce manuel: utiliser

PRÉCAUTIONS
Contrôler la boule avant l’emploi: ne pas utiliser l’appareil si le caoutchouc
est déchiré. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil comme une simple sucette. Ne pas
faire tomber l’appareil par terre. Ne pas mettre le thermomètre en contact

avec des solvants. Éviter le contact et l’exposition avec les sources de
chaleur. Ne pas immerger la boule dans des substances sucrées. Ne pas lier
le thermomètre au cou de l’enfant. Ne pas démonter le produit.
QUELLE EST LA TEMPÉRATURE NORMALE ?
Pour les enfants la température considérée comme normale et acceptable
se situe entre 36.5° et 37.5°C (97,7°F/99,5°F)
IMPORTANT: si une température supérieure à 42 °C s’affiche sur l’écran,
consulter immédiatement un médecin.
UTILISATION DU THERMOMÈTRE
Si l’enfant vient d’ingérer des aliments chauds ou des boissons chaudes,
attendre environ 30 minutes avant d’utiliser le thermomètre (le relevé de la
température pourrait ne pas être fiable) Enlever le couvercle de protection
Laver la tétine à l’eau Appuyer sur le bouton ON/OFF pour mettre en marche
le thermomètre. L’écran affiche pendant 0,5 secondes l’inscription 188.8
Insérer la tétine dans la bouche de l’enfant et la laisser dans sa bouche
jusqu’à ce que le thermomètre émette bips sonores L’écran cesse de
clignoter et affichera la température relevée Pour effectuer une autre
mesure, attendre au moins 5 minutes avant de refaire l’opération Quand
la mesure est terminée, enlever le thermomètre de la bouche de l’enfant
et appuyer sur ON/OFF pour l’éteindre. Ou alors attendre 8 minutes pour
l’arrêt automatique
PROPRETÉ
L’appareil est résistant à l’eau, il faut le laver avec de l’eau tiède (PAS

CHAUDE!). Stériliser la tétine avec de l’alcool et rincer avec de l’eau froide.
Contrôler toujours la boule avant l’usage: ne pas utiliser l’appareil si le
caoutchouc est déchiré.

ÉLIMINATION
Quand l’appareil et/ou ses pièces déplaçables ne seront plus
utilisables, l’élimination sera effectuée selon les normes en vigueur
de la Directive européenne 2002/96/EC et ne devra pas être éliminé
dans les ordures urbaines. L’appareil ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures
domestiques, mais dans un centre des récoltes différenciées pour les
appareils électriques et électroniques, ou renvoyé au revendeur au moment
de l’achat d’un nouvel appareil équivalent. En cas d’entorse au règlement,
on prévoit des sévères
