Before first use
◆Wash the Blending Unit as detailed in the
‘Cleaning’ section. Beware Sharp Blades in the
Blending Unit . Wipe the Motor Unit with a
damp, soapy cloth and dry thoroughly. DO NOT
IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN WATER.

◆Ensure that the Motor
Unit is disconnected
from the electricity
supply before assembly.
◆The Motor Unit drops
into the Blending Unit
, and positively LOCKS
when rotated clockwise.
How to Use
◆The Stick Blender
should be used with a
suitable bowl which is
sited on a dry, level and
stable surface, away
from direct heat.
◆Before blending turn the
Speed Dial clockwise
to set the blender on
it’s lowest speed setting
to avoid splashing.
◆Food to be blended should
be cut into approx. 2cm
/ ¾” pieces - if you want
an even blend, start with
pieces of about the same
size. If ‘stringy’ ingredients
are being processed such
as celery or leeks, regularly
clean the Cutter Head .
◆While blending, power
can be increased by
turning the Speed Dial
counter clockwise or
decreased by turning the
Speed Dial clockwise.
◆Press the Turbo Button
for short bursts of
high power blending.
◆Maximum continuous
usage time should be
no more than 1 minute,
followed by a 3 minute rest
period before the next use.
Cleaning
◆Unplug the Stick Blender
from the electricity
socket before cleaning.
◆Thoroughly wash the
Blending Unit in
warm soapy water and
dry with a soft cloth.
◆Do not soak/immerse
the Blending Unit in
water for long periods.
◆The Blending Unit
is dishwasher safe.
◆Wipe the Motor Unit
with a damp, soapy
cloth and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE
MOTOR UNIT IN WATER.
◆Store the Stick Blender,
with blades protected,
in a safe place to
prevent accidents.
◆Keep out of the
reach of children.

Before use, read all instructions and check
that your mains power supply corresponds
to the voltage shown in this manual.
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.
Do not allow children or the inrm
to operate the Stick Blender without
supervision.
Always keep the Stick Blender out of the
reach of children.
The Stick Blender should only be used as
instructed: there is potential for injury from
misuse.
Do not connect the plug into your socket
with wet hands.
Unplug the unit whenever it is not in use,
and before cleaning or dismantling.
Pull the plug (not the Power Cord) to
disconnect from mains socket.
Cautions

The Power Cord should not hang over
the side of the worktop, where it could
accidentally snagged or pulled by children.
Do not move the Stick Blender around by
pulling the Power Cord.
Do not allow the Power Cord to touch any
hot surface.
If the Power Cord has been damaged in
any way do not operate the appliance -
contact Judge Customer Services at the
address given in the Warranty section.
Care must be taken when handling the
sharp blades in the Blending Unit: always
unplug the Stick Blender before cleaning or
clearing the Cutter Head.
The metal blades are extremely sharp,
please handle carefully.
Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep
hands and utensils out of container while
blending to reduce the risk of severe injury
to persons or damage to the blender.
Always wait until the blades have come
to a complete stop before removing the
Blending Unit from your container/bowl.
Do not use ngers to scrape food away
from the sharp blades - keep ngers well
away from rotating blades at all times.
A plastic scraper may be used, but only
when the electricity supply has been
disconnected.

The appliance cannot be used for chopping
ice or blending hard and dry substances,
otherwise the blade could be blunted.
Allow food to cool slightly before blending.
The container/bowl used must be located in
a level, stable position before operating the
Stick Blender.
Never immerse the Motor Unit in water to
clean.
Do not operate the appliance with a
damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions is dropped or damaged in
any manner or appears faulty in any way
- contact Judge Customer Services at the
address given below.
Never attempt to make any repair to the
Stick Blender yourself - contact Judge
Customer Services at the address given in
the Warranty section.
Make sure that all surfaces that come into
contact with food are kept scrupulously
clean. Wipe work surfaces before and after
use with an antibacterial cleaner.
Please retain these instructions and your
Purchase Receipt.

◆The Judge 2 Year Domestic Electrical Guarantee
covers the product to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of TWO YEARS
from the date of original retail purchase.
◆During this period, Judge will, at their option,
repair or replace defective parts of the product,
or replace the product, providing the Use Care
and Safety Advice have been followed.
◆The Guarantee does not cover damage, defect or failure
caused by or resulting from accidents, external damage,
alteration, modification, abuse, misuse or misapplication.
◆The Guarantee does not cover any damage
caused by taking the appliance apart yourself, or
attempting to repair the appliance yourself.
