BEFORE EACH USE:
• Thoroughly inspect the cage netting for

from the outer sides of the cage when it
is set up and in use.
• Be sure only one participant at a time

The JUGS Portable Free-Standing Sports Cage frame is
guaranteed for five (5) years, and JUGS Portable Free-
Standing Sports Cage netting is guaranteed for one (1) year,
against defects in material or workmanship, unless damaged
by misuse, negligence, or accident—or exposed to extremes of
weather such as snow, ice, high winds, or other acts of God.
Important Warranty Note:
For ease during set-up and dismantling, your JUGS Portable
Free-Standing Sports Cage is manufactured from light-weight
materials. However, like all outdoor structures, it is subject
to loads imposed upon it by wind, snow, and ice. It is not
designed to resist wind velocities in excess of a moderate
breeze. In order to prevent wind damage, dismantle and store
your cage indoors whenever wind velocities for your area are
anticipated to be in excess of 15 miles per hour. Never leave
your cage setup outside during snow or freezing rain storms.
Failure to comply with the above will void your warranty.

Quick-Snap®Basics
When erecting the Sports Cage,
connect the two sections of bungied
tubes together, as shown below.
Twist them to align the lock button with
the lock hole, as shown below.
Depress the lock button and slide the
two sections of tubing together. Be sure
the lock button springs back securely
inside the lock hole.
Step 1
—
Erecting the Roof Frame
Identify, and set aside for later
installation, the four six-foot bungied
tubes with the warning labels affixed.

7
Insert the wider end of a 3-foot tube
into a 3-way fitting. Next, insert the
narrow end into a 6-foot bungied
tube, as shown below.
Insert another 3-foot tube into the other
end of the 6-foot bungied tube. You
will now have a 12-foot length of
tubing, as shown below.
Repeat this process three times, and
assemble the resulting four 12-foot
lengths into a square. The roof frame
is now complete.

8
Step 2
—
Erecting the Wall Frame
Insert another 3-foot tube into one of
the 3-way fittings in your square, as
shown below.
Repeat this process until all four
3-foot tubes are attached as shown
below.

9
Step3
—
Erecting the Corner
Posts with six foot bungied tubes
Using a 6-foot bungied tube with the
warning label affixed, connect it to
one of the 3-foot support tubes as
shown below. (BE SURE THE WARNING
LABELS ARE RIGHT-SIDE UP.
Repeat this process until all four
corners of your frame have a 6-foot
bungied tube attached as shown.

10
Step 4
—
Erecting the Corner
Posts to Nine Feet High:
Snap together the 6-foot bungied tube,
as shown below.
Repeat this process until all four
corners of your frame have a 6-foot
bungied tube. The corner posts are
now nine feet high.

11
Step 5
—
Erecting the Corner
Posts to Twelve Feet High:
Connect the four remaining 3-foot
tubes to the 9-foot corner post tubes to
make the frame twelve feet high.

12
Step 6
—
Assembling the Base
Frame:
Using the remaining tubes and
fittings, lay out the base frame and
assemble it, as shown below.
Move the base frame under the
corner posts. For best results, we
recommend one person at each
corner of the base frame. Then
connect the corner post tubes to the
fittings in the base frame.

13
Attach a foot tube to each outside
fitting in the base frame, as shown
below.
Step 7
—
For Outdoor Use:
Put the ground-anchor loops into the
ground so that they completely engage
the foot tubes, as shown in the photo
below.
IMPORTANT: When using your JUGS Portable Free-
Standing Sports Cage outdoors, you must stake it down
with the ground-anchor loops.

14
31 FEET
Step 8
—
Hanging Net at Ends
Before hanging your net on the JUGS
Sports Cage frames, make sure the
inside front-corner posts are 31 feet
apart.
Spread the netting out, inside the
frames, as shown in the photos below.

15
Important Note: The golf-netting side
must be hung first.
First tie the rope to the middle of the
back crossbar.
Then tie the corners of the net to the
back corners of the frame as shown
below.

16
Important Note: Go to the opposite end
of the Sports Cage and repeat the
process of tying the net to the frame.

17
Your cage should now look like this.
Step 9
—
Attaching Net to Cage
with Cable Assemblies
Using the long-cable assembly with the
hook, attach the top sides of the net to
both frames as shown below.

18
Move inside the cage, and attach
the netting to the center of the
crossbar, using the short-cable
assembly as shown below.
