and perfect operation of your speaker, please read the following carefully.

For Proper Installation and Use
1. Be sure to install the speakers according to the directions so as to prevent them
from slipping accidentally out of position due to the repeated impact of opening and
closing doors or the tossing and bumping of the vehicle.
2. Set the wiring firmly on the floor of the vehicle, taking the utmost care not to break
wires while installing. When installing the speakers
in the doors, extra attention must
be paid to allowing reasonable play to the wires. The wiring,
if given too much clip or
clamp,
will get pinched in between the door and body of the vehicle when opening
and closing doors.
3. Since the speaker installed in the door is positioned at the foot level, be careful not
to damage the speaker by giving it
an inadvertent kick, Check the water outlet at
the bottom of the door occasionally to ensure that
it drains well, leaving no rainwater
inside the door.
4. Before connecting the speakers to the amplifier, confirm that the power has been
turned off. The Click noise generated by the connection if the power
is on may
damage the speakers.
5, When cleaning the speakers, use asoft cloth and wipe the surface gently, 00 not
apply thinner or solvent.
Montage et utilisation corrects
1. Prendre soin de monter les haut-parieurs conformement aux instructions, afin d'
eviter qu'ils ne se delogent accidentellement de leur emplacement d'installation sous
I'effect des chocs repetes d'ouverture
et de fermeture des portes et des vibrations
du vehicule.

2. Fixer fermement Ie cablage sur Ie sol du vehicule. Les fils ne doivent pas etre
sectionnes lors du montage. Lors du montage des haut-parleurs dans
les portes,
il est important de prevoir un jeu adequat des fils. Si Ie cablage est trop lache, il
peut etre coince entre ia porte et Ie chassis du vehicule lors de I'ouverture et de la
fermeture des portes.
3. La haut-parieur monte dans la porte etant dispose au niveau des pieds du passager,
celui-ci doit prendre soin de
ne pas I'endommager en Ie heurtant du pied. Verifier de
temps
en tempsl'ecoulament de I'eau situe au bas de la porte, pour s'assurer qu'il
ne reste pas de pluie dans la porte.
4. Verifier que I'alimentation est coupee avant de raccorder les haut-parieurs a I'
amplificateur, Lescraquements produits par Ie raccordement lorsque I'alimentation
est fournie peuvent endommager leshaut-parieurs.
5. Nettoyer Ie haut-arieur en Ie frottant legerement aI'aide d'un chiffon doux. Ne jamais
utiliser de solvants
ni dedetergents.
Instalaci6n yUso Correctos
1. Cerci6rese de instalar los altavoces de acuerdo con las instrucciones, para evitar
que
se descoloquen accidentalmente debido alos repetidos impactos causados por
la apertura ycierre de la puerta 0por las sacudidas ytraquetreos del vehiculo.
2. Instale los cables firmemente en el piso del vehiculo, teniendo mucho cuidado de no
romperios durante su instalaci6n. Cuando instale los altavoces en las puertas, debe
prestar atenci6nespecial para que
el cable tenga una longitud razonable. EI cable
se pillara entre
la puerta y la carroceria del vehiculo al abrir ycerrar la puerta si es
demasiado largo ocorto.
3. Como el altavoz instalado en la puerta queda a la altura de los pies, tenga cuidado
de no danario
al golpearito accidentaimente con el pie. Verifique ocasionalmente
la
salida de agua en el fonda de la puerta para asegurarse de que drena
perfectamente, no quedando agua residual en el interior de la puerta.
4. Antes de conectar los altavoces con el amplificador, confirme que este conrtada
la alimentaci6n electrica. EI ruido producido al enchufar los terminales de conexi6n
mientras
se alimenta energfa puede causar danos en los altavoces.
5. Cuando limpie los altavoces, utilice un panG suave yfrote ia superficie con cuidado.

GAIANVII
JVC CANADA INC. (hereafter called "JVC") gives
the following express warranty for each new JVC
product distributed in Canada by JVC and sold by
an authorized JVC dealer.
JVC warrants that this JVC product is free, under
normal use and maintenance, from any defects in
material and workmanship subject to the following
terms and conditions:
1. To Obtain Warranty Service:
(a) The JVC Warranty Control Card herein
provided must be completed in full and
posted or registered via internet within 7days
of date of purchase of the JVC product.
(b) This JVC Warranty Control Card must be
completed in full and presented together
with proof of purchase of the JVC product
requiring service.
(c) The JVC product must be brought in for
service to an authorized JVC Service Centre.
2. Limitation:
This Warranty shall not apply to:
(a) Repair or replacement of any cabinets,
batteries, plates, connection cords, anten-
nas, dust covers, knobs, speaker grills,
speaker cones, projection screens, projection
screen savers, and all accessories.
(b) Any defects caused or repairs required as a
result of misuse, abusive operation, negli-
gence, improper use and/or insufficient care.
(c) Any defect caused or repairs required as a
result of not following the instructions in the
operation manual.
(d) Any JVC product tampered with, adjusted
or repaired by any party other than JVC or
authorized JVC Service Centre personnel.
