Listening to an iPod device with AC-RS5

By connecting the Docking Station for iPod —AC-RS5 (separately purchased) to EX-A15, you can play back an iPod device
(audio only).
When you play back video files, only the sound is output.

Setting up AC-RS5 with RX-EXA15
Make sure RX-EXA15 (receiver) is turned off before connecting
AC-RS5.
1Connect AC-RS5.
See the illustration below.
2Connect iPod to AC-RS5.
3Turn on RX-EXA15.
The connected iPod also turns on.
4Press [INPUT] on the remote control of EX-A15
repeatedly to select “iPod” as the source.

Disconnecting AC-RS5
Turn off RX-EXA15, then disconnect AC-RS5 as illustrated.

Operating iPod using the remote control of
EX-A15
Slide the remote control mode selector to the [RECEIVER]
position.
You can make operations while looking at the display of iPod.

Play back iPod 3(PLAY) —

Charging iPod
When RX-EXA15 is turned on, iPod also turns on and charging starts.
While “iPod” is selected as the source, you can stop charging by pressing and holding [K2]. (“iPod CHRG OFF” is displayed.)
To start charging again, repeat the same operation. (“iPod CHRG ON” is displayed.)
When RX-EXA15 is turned off, iPod also turns off and charging stops.

当RX-EXA15 打开时，iPod 也会打开并开始充电。
