䡵Maintaining the unit (Please turn off
the power before performing main-
tenance work.)
Please wipe the unit with a soft cloth. Do
not wipe it with thinner or benzene lest the
surface melts or becomes dull. For stub-
born stains, wipe first with a water-diluted
neutral detergent and then wipe dry.
䡵Please use the provided AC adapter
to connect the unit to a power
source.
䡵Please use the supplied power
cord. Using a different type or dam-
aged cord may cause tire or elec-
tric shock.
䡵To save energy, be sure to turn off
the system when not in use.

Larger Terminal coded E or Green. The
wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with following code:
Blue to N (Neutral) or Black
Brown to L (Live) or Red
If these colours do not correspond with
the terminal identifications of our plug,
connect as follows:
Blue wire to terminal coded N (Neutral)
or coloured Black.
Brown wire to terminal coded L (Live) or
coloured Red.
If in doubt - consult a competent electri-

䡵Operating the Remote Controller
1. Send data by directing toward the ‘re-
mote control sensor’ of DM-ND300E.
2. Range between the remote controller
and the front face of the sensor is
within 5 m. (When batteries are new)
3. Data may not be sent successfully if
the remote controller and sensor are
obstructed by someone or something.
PRECAUTION
Data may not be sent successfully at areas
with illumination that is stronger than the light
emission of the remote controller or where
inverted fluorescent lights are used.
(3) When system makes use of a
menu server
The menu screen is displayed by the re-
mote control and selection of network en-
coder is possible. A separate HTML
server is required when using this sys-
tem. Please refer to the sales outlet at
which this equipment is purchased for
more details.

3. How To Operate
•Startup
There is no power switch on this equipment. Power is turned on once the AC adaptor sup-
plied is connected to the rear panel. About 10 seconds are required to start up the equipment
after turning on the power. Upon activation, the ACT LED on the front panel will turn green.
•When system does not make use of a menu server
In the case of a system that does not use menus, screen turns black upon activation. Use the
numeric keypad on the remote controller to access the pre-assigned network encoder and to
play back video / audio from that encoder.
Press the Pause button on the remote controller to pause the video/sound.
Press the Stop button on the remote controller to stop playing back the video/sound.
•When system makes use of a menu server
In the case of a system that uses menus, the menu screen is displayed by pressing HOME
button on the remote controller. Select the menu using the arrow keys on the remote controller,
followed by pressing OK to play back video / audio from the network encoder.
Press the Pause button on the remote controller to pause the video/sound.
Press the Stop button on the remote controller to stop playing back the video/sound.
PRECAUTION
When the network encoder is set as Unicast, access by other DM-ND300E’s are denied
during the Play Back or Pause mode. Access by other DM-ND300E’s is possible upon
switching to the Stop mode.
When the network encoder is set as Multicast, access by other DM-ND300E’s are possible
even during the Play Back mode.
