Uninterruptible power supply

Warning
Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the monitor. It could cause re, electric
shock, or injury. Servicing of such a monitor may be refused. Or a fee may be
charged even within the warranty period. Ask your dealer for repairs.
Do not continue using the monitor when failure or abnormality is found. It
could cause re or electric shock.
Do not touch or swallow the liquid crystal that may leak from the damaged
panel. It could cause skin irritation. If it gets into the eye, ush the eye with
water and call your doctor. If it adheres to skin or clothes, wash it o
immediately with water. It contains a stimulating substance.
Do not put anything on top of or over the monitor. It could cause the
monitor to fail or cause re.
Do not put anything over the cables. It could cause the monitor to fail or

Do not handle the monitor with wet hands. It could cause the monitor to fail

If smoke or odor is observed, unplug the monitor immediately. Continual

Don’t use the AC adapter packaged with this product for other electronics.

The input voltage for this monitor is limited to AC 100 V to AC 240 V. Do not
use it at any other voltage.
The supplied 2P power cord is only for use at 100 V.
Failure to do so could cause the monitor to fail or cause re.
The monitor must be grounded. Failure to do so could cause electric shock.
When using a 2P plug, ground the monitor before plugging into a wall
outlet. To remove the grounding cable, unplug the monitor rst.

Follow the instructions below in handling the power plug.
• Hold the plug when unplugging. Pulling the cord could cause damage and

Turn o and unplug the monitor and its peripheral devices when installing,
uninstalling, and/or moving the monitor.
This monitor and its components come in plastic bags. Keep out of reach of
children. Playing with plastic bags could cause suocation.
Caution
Install the monitor indoors. It is not designed for the use outdoors or aboard
vehicles.
Do not put the monitor in a stuy, dusty, humid place. Do not expose it to
oily smoke or steam. It could cause the monitor to fail and cause re or
electric shock.
Do not put the monitor on an unstable surface. It could cause the monitor to
fall and result in injury.
Do not expose the monitor to direct sunlight. It could damage the cabinet or
other parts and result in overheat or re.
Avoid a place subject to

It could cause the monitor to fail.
Do not use the monitor with condensation on the surface. It could cause the
monitor to fail. Condensation forms when the monitor is moved into a warm
room from a cold place. Let it sit until it goes away.
Do not place the monitor on its back or use in a place with little ventilation.
Heat could build up and damage the cabinet and/or the inner parts. It could
result in shortening of life, overheat, and/or re.
Rest your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes per hour. Failure to do so could cause
eyestrain.

LCD
Even if it is used properly, the monitor may cause harmful interference to
radio or television reception. Try the following measures to correct it.
• Increase the distance between the monitor and the radio/TV.
• Connect the monitor into a dierent outlet from the one to which the
radio/TV is connected.
Do not press, scratch, or put objects on the LCD panel surface. It could cause
monitor noise and/or cause the panel to fail.
Do not monitor a static image for too long. It could cause “ghosting,” a
phenomenon where the previous image displayed on the screen is seen for
moments after the image has changed.
Turn on a screensaver or enable the standby mode to avoid “burning in,” the
burning of an image onto the LCD panel after hours of the same image
being displayed.
Please be advised that the following symptoms may occur due to the nature
of LCDs. They are not failures.
• During use in cold environments, “streaking” may occur or images may
appear dark.
• Depending on use conditions such as temperature, spots or unevenness in
luminance or color may be observed.
• Due to the manufacturing technology used, there may be pixel or dot
failures even though its rate of eective pixels is 99.999364 %.
Do not set the monitor luminance to maximum or closer to it when using the
monitor in a dim room below 100 lx. It could cause eyestrain. Setting it too
low could make it hard to see the image.
Clean inside of the monitor once a year. The dust could cause re.
Ask your dealer for maintenance.

Features
● High contrast Touch panel color LCD
This touch panel color LCD supports VESA standard display modes from VGA 640 ×
480 to SXGA 1280 × 1024 resolutions*. (*CV732PJ and CV932PJ only. CV532PJ: up to
XGA 1024 × 768)
The contrast ratio for CV532PJ is 2000:1 and that for CV732PJ and CV932PJ is 1000:1.
Maximum luminance for CV532PJ is 300 cd/m2and for CV732PJ and CV932PJ is 250
cd/m2.
● High performance touch panel
The touch panel has 2048 × 2048 resolution with 80 % (typ.) light transmission (λ=550
nm). Its sensitivity oers easy operation with a touch of the ngertip on the touch
panel.
● Analog/digital interface
Touch panel color LCD is compatible with both analog (Mini D-sub 15-pin) and digital
(DVI-D 24-pin) inputs.
● User-friendly OSD controls
The OSD adjustments are achieved only by control buttons. The OSD control panel has
easy-to-understand icons for quick and easy operation.
● Power-management function
This product has power-management function. When losing either or both of the
horizontal and vertical signals, it enters sleep mode, power-management function
reduces power consumption to approximately 0.5 W or less. When the horizontal and
vertical signals come back, it wakes up from sleep mode.
Note Do not activate touch panel when controlling the monitor's power management
function by the system.
The power of monitor should be linked with a system. If failure to unplug the
power cord of the monitor or the power management function of the system is
linked while the system is operating, the operation of the touch panel would
become unstable and in the worst case, the touch panel would not respond.
● Detachable tilt stand
The monitor comes with a detachable tilt stand and is equipped with either a 75 × 75
mm or 100 × 100 mm mounting hole pattern for other arm stands or wall hanging
according to your needs and preferences.
* CV532PJ with 75 × 75 mm, CV732PJ and CV932PJ with 100 × 100 mm mounting
hole pattern.
● Kensington security slot
Built in the Anti-Theft system supporting the Kensington MicroSaver security lock
system by ACCO Brands Corporation.

Adjusting the monitor angle
Place the monitor on a at surface for stable operation of the touch panel.
The monitor turns 2 degrees downward, and 90 degrees upward.
Adjust the angle according to your preferences.

● Notes for Software drivers
Download the driver from “eGalax_eMPIA Technology Inc. (EETI)” website at
https://www.eeti.com
Before downloading, carefully read the disclaimer provided on the website.
Make sure that the driver you download is suited for your operation system.
Once downloaded, decompress the le to run the install program.
● Calibration:
-Calibrate the monitor after the whole system including this monitor is completely
installed.
-After the calibration, do not change the resolution and position of the display area.
Calibrate again when they are changed.
-Calibrate again when the system is relocated after the calibration.
-The calibration has to be done right after the touch panel driver is installed.
-The touch point and the cursor may not be consistent before the touch panel is
calibrated.
4 points calibration is the default calibration.
25 points and 9 points calibration are the advance modes.
-These modes should calibrate the touch panel more precisely and the touch panel
could work more accurately.

Connecting the cables
1 Turn o the computer.
2Digital connection: Connect a digital signal cable between the monitor’s DVI and
the computer’s digital output. Make sure to tighten the screws on the connectors.
3Analog connection: Connect the supplied analog signal cable between the
monitor’s VGA and the computer’s analog output. Make sure to tighten the screws
on the connectors.

RS-232C connection:
1) Connect a RS-232C cable between monitor’s RS232 and the computer’s COM
(RS232) port. Make sure to tighten the screws on the connectors.
2) The driver is downloadable from EETI website at
https://www.eeti.com
Carefully read the disclaimer provided on the website and download the driver
suited for your operation system.
Install the downloaded driver to your computer.

Use the supplied AC adapter only. When using multiple monitors side by side,
do not pile AC adapters on top of each other. Heat could build up and it
could cause a re.
